The trans red window gives an interesting effect on the scene, would be interesting to see that on a larger scale. Is that a vehicle your sigfig is riding? I like the asymmetry of it. The lego dice as storage crates are a nice touch! Can't wait to see where Alfred the Geonosian is hiding!

I really like that torso combination on the bald guy and that speeder bike is pretty cool looking! The speeder is utilitarian and practical something I could see really existing.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Forresto replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Governor Pryce is most certainly wearing a grey uniform however. -
Right ans and its not such big a deal that im actually upset about. My only thing with the early introduction is that it hampers escalation. In many wars (lets say WW2 since SW is heavily influenced by it) the tactics and technologies of any faction evolves and shifts to counteract the otherside. Visually saving things like B Wings and Tie Interceptors for shows that time has passed and that the war has been going on for a while. It also makes things seem less static and that there are people and tactics moving around and being create beyond what the films show. Again not a big deal at all and im still really looking forward to the new season.

The inside is very bland. No fun computer panels or anything interesting it seems like besides maybe the chairs and trans blue "windows".

Nope I agree. I think that is an instance kf them wanting to show off all the Imperial goodies a little too quickly. But like the B Wing I guess its one of those things Filoni is changing.

Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka Freebuild 03: They Always Listen Forresto's Journal: Three months have passed since the Empire brutally suppressed the many alien worker's riots that thrust the planet into chaos. The protest that ended in slaughter that my brother and I witnessed was merely the beginning of a month long series of successful planetary uprisings. Dissidents apparently managed to sabotage half the Imperial starships in production in the orbiting shipyards. While official Imperial channels indicate the riots ended with amnesty given to those participants who surrendered peacefully, more reliable sources inform me the reality was far more severe. Several hundred thousand protestors at minimum were caught and sent to off world hard labor camps, where reports tell laborers lifespans are not much more then a year at best. That is not to mention the thousands of disappearances where notable individuals to simple workers simply vanished without a trace, unlike the riots these occurrences haven't ceased. I am coping, although I remain in a constant state of stress. My boss and several other coworkers at the Office of Urban Development for Esra Sector were amongst those to have disappeared. Rumors are nothing more then whispers but what i've heard concerns me. If the whispers are to be true the Empire has brought in a specific subdivision of the Imperial Security Bureau, the SSF. I do not know what the acronym stands for and I don't wish to ever know. However my brother Dann is frightening me more then any rumored Imperial boogeymen could. Ever since our experience at the massacre he's grown distant. At first I thought this was just him growing older but i'm not so sure now. He transferred to work at another Urban Development Office and returns to our apartment late into the night so I rarely see him. He barely eats, we barely talk to each other, and anytime I catch him on a communicator he immediately hangs up. His paranoia has only gotten worse in recent days. I don't understand what is going on with him. Is he homesick? Traumatized by witnessing so many deaths? I feel he's gotten caught up in something far bigger then he understands. At first the endless cities and limitless skyscrapers seemed appealing in comparison to the contained urban centers of our homeworld. Not any more. Sky traffic has all but ceased. The city is hauntingly quiet, a silence only broken by the scream of TIE fighters patrolling the skyways. I am constantly saving credits for transport off world for when the Imperials finally lift the planetary quarantine. Fondor has become a prison. Nobody talks anymore, they always listen. 1 ABY: Office of Urban Development for Desa Sector "Sora! Scanners indicate a massive failure in the life support systems of Tower 1-3B" "Again?" "We were just there! I thought we cleared out all the mynocks?" "Apparently not. We must've left a den mother still twitching. Well if we don't go now the filtration system will be full of larvae and we'll have a three week cleanup to deal with." "All hands on deck sir?" "No, you stay here Dann. This should only take the three of us. God knows how long we'll be gone. Why don't you take the night off?" "Thanks sir, um, good luck sir!" "Good with them gone we can turn off this annoying alarm." Speaks into communicator "Coast is clear! Come now!" Bleeeeeeeep! "Does this have everything we agreed on Dann?" "A full layout of Governor Pycelle's Palace and the surrounding sectors. Out of curiosity wha-" "I'm afraid that is privileged information. Needless to say if the information on this drive is accurate your recruitment will be finalized. The organization i'm affiliated with will be most plea-" "Is your staff back so soon?" "Impossible, they shouldn't even be at the tower yet. I'll check the security cameras." "Imperials! They're going to breach the door!" "It's the SSF! How?" "Sergeant restrain the rebel spy and his conspirator" "I'll never talk facist scum-" "Your silence is quite adequate for the mean while Leftenant Corbyn Doras of the so called Rebel Allance's Intelligence Division. Oh yes we have been observing your precise movements for the past three months now and squads are eliminating every individual in your network as we speak. What I want is the names of your off world contacts." "I-" "Tsk tsk, I already stated I do not need any verbal response. We will talk, soon, besides our methods of obtaining the truth are far more accurate then your stammering. Leftenant Geiger take them away!" "Yes sir, Commander Orellios!" Hours Later: "Brother I was waiting at the station where were you?- Brother? Dann?! DAAANNN!" Behind the Scenes: Episode List:

Its been a while since ive read the books but supposedly Thrawn could have been a grand admiral around ANH in the old EU, he just happened to be exploring and colonizing wild space. Plus as CallMePie said he was a captain in his own species fleet several years preceding TPM. They could be long lived. As it stands he could be around post ROTJ. However would the disaster that was Jakku have happened if Thrawn was in charge then? I think this is just his reintroduction and between rebels and Zahns new book theyre re cementing him into the new canon as the badass he was. Whether they kill him off or not I dont think even Disney or Filoni knows yet. I feel and hope this is just a starter for many things to come involving his character. Afterall the Empire is massive and the war widespread, he still could have fought the rebels in different theatres of war alongside the OT.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 16 Rumors and Discussion
Forresto replied to 8BrickMario's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm slightly disappointed that the hiker's legs are tan and not olive but I feel like they would look good on some of the figures from the recent rebel trooper battle pack. It says Greeble Trail -
We definitely need a new tie bomber set. The trailer showed the debut of the Tie Interceptor in the Imperial Fleet so there's a chance we may see that in a set. To be honest though I do not like the Rebels Tie proportions translating into Lego, too jarring compared to the other Ties already made.

Don't forget Tie Interceptors have finally made there appearance. I don't care at all but I'm thinking it's a little strange they're appearing before ANH. I always felt they came later in the war to counter the better maneuverability of Rebel Pilots.

Did anyone else also notice Dark Troopers are canon again? I have a feeling them combined with the Outrider style ship means that storyline will return to canon in some form. Also we have our first on screen female imperial officer which is cool. I know there are many in the new canon books but we havent seen any in a show or movie until now. I feel like Filoni is trying to add in lots of the original EU and I am so happy!
-
I have never been happier AND Timothy Zahn is writing a new book about Thrawn. Filoni's such a massive Thrawn fan I feel his episodes are going to be very good. Let's just hope he stays alive and they dont decide to kill him off.

Its a poster...its not supposed to be realistic

I cant wait for the trailer :D

I correct myself. According to the Washington Post it was a Posion Gas type pokemon the guy caught at the Holocaust Museum...I am absolutely done lol that is just awful
-
I am from DC and all the museums here have started to ban it as well as National Park sites. Mostly because people would be using the game in really inappropriate places. For instance the Holocaust Museum, I heard someone tried to catch a charnander in one of the boxcars the Nazis used. There was a gym setup at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington Cemetery. If you dont know the cemetery is the highest place of honor for soldiers or vetrans who have passed and the tomb is a national memorial for every American soldier to die in war (even those now) but whose bodies were never recovered or identified. Same story at the Vietnam War Memorial where every soldier who died has their name listed on a wall. Look I love the game but people need to get smarter about there surroundings.

I'm not going to lie, I don't understand the immense enthusiasm surrounding the UCS Snowspeeder? It just doesn't make as much sense to me. It's a great ship but we already have a UCS one and there's much more exciting possible vehicles. Cough Cough AT-AT Cough.

Awww Karen Traviss...Republic Commando still remains my favorite Swar Wars Novel series

Absolutely love this! You nailed the tree as well as possible in lego form and the bloody opening that the horseman emerges from is a great touch! I would say the ground is a little barebones but considering how well you did the tree that's alright! Edit: Seconded on the background. The white takes away from the creepiness factor a bit.

Betsy Bower reporting in! -
I cant speak on the mosern dinos or any bootleg versions but have you tried the original lego Dinos? From the old school adventurer sets as well as Jurrasic Park 3. Then there is the Dino Attack theme which has the mutant looking dinos as well

The Rebel Frigate's minifigures are really underwhelming. Im not trying to grumble or be a negative nancy but up close im just not impressed. If you want the set all the power to you but im personally going to pass with zero regrets.

My friend's girlfriend was joking about someone being dumb enough to hurt themselves while playing Pokemon Go. An hour or so later she was playing, fell down the stairs, and fractured her ankle.
