  1. The first one is alright, it was rushed to get released before the Force Awakens and it sort've shows. The second one is much better, so if you find yourself hating the first one you may have better luck with the next installment. Life Debt may have serious implications for Episode 8 and 9, that is all I will say.
  2. The pauldron situation is a funny one. Molded kama never looked right when compared to the cloth variant. However molded pauldrons for stormtroopers looks far better then the cloth ones TLG makes.
  3. Honestly without back printing on the hip stormtroopers don't look right with white hips. Not in the way white hips look alright on FO troopers, who seem to have more white then their OT counterparts. I wouldn't even argue its any more accurate for the hips to be white either. Yes there's the codpiece and the rear part of the armor that is white but the black under suit is quite prominent. Without it a stormtrooper looks strange.
  4. Sticker? Sorry shouldve gone back a page before commenting. Yeah that's a little strange but it's weirdly shaped part, maybe they haven't determined or designed a way to print on a piece like that yet?
  5. I love the bottom window feature so the pilot can actually see the ground, as opposed to the FO transport (it's a different design for a different era I know). Fantastic set!
  6. It wouldnt be so bad if they included a shore trooper in a cheap set but I would rather not pay up to $120 for three of them between two sets. Whilr its nice to have access to Death Troopers its going to be strsnge have a dozen or so commandos.
  7. Two death troopers in the battlepack is definitely overkill. Considering how many sets we're going to buy to army build stormtroopers we are all going to have a number of death troopers equal to stormtroopers. Thats a bit ridiculous
  8. The main character of the movie's only figure so far doesn't have leg printing? Am I the only one has an issue with that? Thanks
  9. The 1933 original version of King Kong. Considering the technology of the time and the lack of computers for visual effects this movie is absolute genius, of course that's due to the incredible vision of Ray Harryhausen. The story and certain elements of the film such as the natives being mostly white people in dark makeup are a bit sketchy but of course a total product of 1933. That's what I enjoy most about the film is that how in certain ways such as the special effects, this film is decades ahead of it's time while in others still trapped in the 19th century. I would argue that despite it's age this film still stands strong against many modern action flicks.
  10. I flipped to Empire Strikes Back on TNT after the Rebels premiere and one scene stood out to me especially. After Luke leaves Dagobah Obi-Wan says something along the lines of "He was our last hope." and Yoda says "No, there is another: which is in reference to Leia. Yoda who is aware of Ezra and Kanan due to the last season of Rebels, basically says in Empire there are only two capable of becoming jedi left. He says that to Obi-Wan and no one else which implies he's being completely honest and straight forward. There's none of that "from a certain point of view" nonsense. It would seem another jedi cannot exist, especially in the Rebel Alliance, by the time of a New Hope and especially when Luke joins the Rebel Alliance. Obi-Wan was Leia's only hope. If Ezra, a powerful young force user was still a rebel or alive, why would she go to Obi Wan a much older Jedi? Why would Luke be so special unless he was the last of the Jedi?
  11. This was a fun episode the new rules shook things up a bit! From the looks of things the Imps didn't figure out what my piece was mwahaha. The model killed us though, the points were so close too!
  12. Was the delayed release of the first 2017 sets in the US normal or unusual? I remember we didnt get the sets until march.
  13. Thanks everyone!
  14. The scale of your build and the how immersive it is, is truly impressive. I love your builds!
  15. What an intriguing story, I was eager to read what happened next, well done! Clever photography combined with the solid building techniques and you have a super build!
  16. I don't know if it was intentional but the shark figure reminded me of the separatist shark general from the Clone Wars episode set on Mon Calamari.
  17. Gorgeous! To mirror everyone else, this looks spot on for Imperial design!
  18. The contrast between the inside and outside is so clean and well done I cant help but enjoy looking at each one. The outside looks great, the inside and especially that floor looks incredible!
  19. I'm getting a very MC Escher vibe from this for some reason. Everything is slickly done, excellent job!
  20. You certainly made brown appear to be a vibrant color! The building and starship and foliage are superb! I sort've wish there wasnt as much bare ground but your build still looks great regardless!
  21. Your build looks great as usual! The Phantom, while not my favorite ship, is looking awfully fine in brick form.
  22. The picture quality isn't the best but trust me I know the pain. My pictures got screwed up on this episode because my lamp exploded, so don't feel too bad. Your build from what I can make out is very good!
  23. The droid looks incredible especially in that shot where they're running away! There's so much to love about this build from the panels to the red accenting! The last photo though is a real trip and a half, took me a moment to get reoriented looking at it
  24. The backwards facing bricks for wall texture is absolute genius, a technique I may have to borrow! Great addition to your story and truly excellent photography...for an Imperial...I guess
