Well it's like how on the Tie Advanced and A Wing set the new Darth Vader even on the final box art didn't show leg prints despite the figure in the set having them, as well as the previous three Vader figures.
-
Plus prelim figures rarely ever have printed legs.

If the battle packs next year are good I may buy a bunch of those. 10 each is a lot of money so I may skimp out on the rogue one wave.

The Phantom is an immediate first day buy! That thing looks awesome even better then the original. Oh my god though Yoda's shuttle is horrendous. Duel of the fates wouldn't be bad necessarily but it doesn't look like you're getting your money's worth from the build.

In a separate thread or a an existing one? Also thanks a lot by the way!

Reddit? Absolutely no one link please!

True enough. I may look into that if they aren't too expensive.

Has anyone read Aftermath: Life Debt? I hear its supposed to be very good, much better then the first.

We're getting closer. There was a clip released of Thrawn in a later episode of the season and he sounds so good. He's icy, calculating, and more importantly sounds like the most intelligent person in the room. However what i'm most impressed from what i've seen so far, and I hope this stays the case, is that he's relatively sedate. He talks ever so quietly and that's an incredibly sophisticated technique of making the audience have to listen closer to what he says because when Thrawn speaks everyone listens. When Thrawn enters the room that is his room. I'm really excited so far. I hope this keeps and that in five months i'm not berating the show for ruining him. The Clone Wars sort've ruined General Grievous but I think Dave Filoni knows that Thrawn is so well beloved by the community that he has to be tactful (no pun intended) of how he does it. As of right now we are poised to have one of the coolest SW villains return and that is super cool.

I'm really on the fence about the U-Wing. I love the design but I can't help but feel TLG's model is a little clunky. If it wasnt all black I would definitely buy Krennic's shuttle. I have cats so between the dust and the cat fuzz Black is a terrible time for me when displaying models...or wearing clothes....or really anything black

Stormtroopers could be improved with arm and hip printing (both back and front), but honestly they're pretty perfect as is. The shuttle could simply be stylized. Star Destroyer command decks and necks are ridiculously elongated.
-
Yeah that'd be cool but knowing how bad those clips are maybe it would be indeed ill advised. I do think the long super battle droid legs need to be improved, maybe make the clips stronger. Even if the connection is more unsightly I would rather the legs last longer. How many bets for the high number of the Rogue One Imperial Droid's legs that will break in the coming months?
-
Right? They are one of the oldest of Lego's SW designs and theyre pieces are so versatile. Im very surprised. The only improvement I could make is a mold for the back pack but besides that im at a loss.

The Conjuring 2. All the reviewers at the time said it was good but not as good as the original. I'm not going to lie I think in many ways it's much better then the first, and I adore the first one. I wasnt really scared at all but there were many clever shots and setups. The older I get the more I prefer style and creativity in Horror films then I do genuine scares. NOTHING however will beat the time I went to see the first Conjuring in theaters at one in the morning and a drunk woman stripped naked and streaked out of the theatre.

Am I the only one amused that a film about stealing the Death Star plans is coming out and Disney is hunting down the "stolen" leaked lists for 2017. Have we become the Rebel Alliance, While I am slightly joking I think it would be a good strategy for people to keep this thread low key. Nobody link to EB. Let's pull a Han Solo where he hides the Millennium Falcon on the back of the Star Destroyer's command bridge. Hopefully TLG or Disney don't find us.

I just remember SW Battlefront I & II let two personnel, a pilot and gunner, man Y-Wings. while I don't know I have to imagine it's along the lines of a wookie/ gammorean/ talz mold where it's full torso. When you look at the actual character it's entirely furry.

Debacle?

Excellent work this looks spot on! I quite like the maroon color especially when compared to the yellow.
-
Darn I didn't want to get the Y-Wing but I do think i'll want Moroff . To brick link....in six months

Is the Revan figure the same as the original or has it been changed at all? That would make a lot of sense.
-
The Phantom certainly sounds like a must buy set! At that price point? No doubt i'm buying that. Honestly I would pay $30 for just the thrawn minifigure!
-
Helms Deep but inside was the pirate corsair ship from return of the king. Still awesome but no figures from the actual set (3 normal orcs)
-
Thrawn hair sounds preliminary. We'll probably get the same mold but in Dark Blue

I wonder if Lego has listened to the complaints of the community at large about the theme (Assault on Hoth, May 4th figure, wtc...) and decided to throw us a fan favorite figure as well as double vip points. Or maybe SW took a hit in sales this year and they need something like Revan to revitalize their sales for this quarter

A local wealthy community has a day where they get rid of items, furniture, old junk and put it on their curb for people to grab. One yard had a two large lego boxes one of which is the latest imperial star destroyer. I open the box and... Its the Wall-E set with a few small bags of unopened bags from the destroyer but no minifigures. Bittersweet. Its a little dissapointing there wasn't the actual set inside but im lucky to get any lego and im certainly happy to have a Wall-E.
