In regards to the Republic Tank, the new model is significantly smaller then the original Lego model. The new model appears to be 21 studs long and 14 wide whereas the original is 29 studs long and 26 wide.

Fabulous model! That is truly remarkable considering its been less then two months since the movie released and now...well this is most likely the best MOC that will ever be made of the good ole Zeta.

What if those two Resistance figures are actually apart of the advent calendar? Would be strange and I expect them to really be from the Last Jedi set, but it just seems random that they'd be there.

Not to be greedy but I hope at least one of the Guavians gets Metallic Dark Red dual molded arms for black gauntlets. The metallic worries me a little, aren't metallic plastics weaker then standard lego plastic?

Based on the new pictures I think the figure in the Republic Tank is a Phase II variant of this Phase I figure.

Mister Sir von Lego I dont want to pester you with questions so i'll ask only one. Were the Rathtars built into the set or were they seperate brickbuilt figures?

I wish I could like a post on this forum cause I would like this twice. The 2000's were a golden age of Star Wars video games and a huge part of my childhood, before the dark times, before EA. I hope for PT but i'd sad to think it will most likely be OT and ST. The Clone Wars were the best part of the prequels but i've talked to many people that despise even the positive aspects of the prequels simply by them being attached to the prequels. I think the people developing Battlefront are the same. As a player of Star Wars Armada we have a similar problem where the developers are the same and seemingly refuse to do anything in the timeline pre- Rebels. Imagine the epic Battlefront II mods of the Battle of Geonosis where the Republic starts with gunships and land in the war zone but with the graphical fidelity of Battlefront. I don't understand how any Star Wars fan could hate that.

Wow! Im aghast at that price its extremely reasonable. I believe you but its a little hard to grasp that a set of that size being priced so close to 50 bucks. Almost makes the Battle of Scarif and the Takodana sets look absurd for what you get.

Confirmed the Batman Utility belt works with the current backpack mold (the one we get with hoth troopers) so you can kit troopers with both a back pack and a utility belt.

I recently got finished playing Dishonored and i'm getting a total similar vibe to this. This definitely has a palatial feeling to it. This is so awesome and the unique color scheme is perfect. My absolute favorite feature is the use of that planet hemisphere as a dome!

I think there's only two in the set. The wheel arches appear to be one continuous piece although I could be wrong. I say this only because I would imagine that if the arches were two pieces over the wheels they would have a lot more support beneath, which I can't see or determine.

The Tie Striker seems like a really useful vehicle. I wonder if the plans for them survived Scarif?

Unfortunately I think we are not going to see any more War Doctor and that is fine. I wouldnt want any other person to try and play that role besides the legendary and magnificent John Hurt.

That supercomputer is probably not even as powerful as my phone (okay maybe an exaggeration ). Sweet build, its hard to do distinct modern time periods in Lego but this immediately reads as eighties. Great job!

There's a spotted one that appears to be the same mold as the black panther. Not an animal but we have a Venus Flytrap mouthpiece mold now.

Is it?t tbh thats the fault of scheduling I think. You cant have as many episode breaks as Rebels has without losing people. We had a two month long break then only get FOUR episodes before another month long break? If it wasnt for my interest in how things on it played out i'd be done and wait to watch it on dvd at the library.

It maybe too soon to talk Episode 8 but I think TLG is going to be really tight on leaks this year. I just have a feeling Lucasfilm is cooking up something huge for this one and Lego sets tend to be a little spoilery. I wonder if security will be tighter this year?
