  1. Increasing the battle pack price is unfortunate but I bet Lego is assuming that they will make more since its relatively cheap. Its a reasonably priced set a parent might buy if their kid begs them for a lego set in the aisle. They need to be careful though, if they increase the price too much then the often sub par or non canon vehicle builds of the BP will turn off people from the BPs.
  2. New Canon News Alert Pablo Hidalgo recently tweeted that the main galactic map we see in the Essential Atlas hasnt changed. The name of the systems and locations are still canon. Its the stories attatched to the star systems that are no longer canon.
  3. They better. We never got a proper plain phase two clone trooper battle pack. 212th is cool and I still need to get a couple regulars from them but we should've got more. Geonosis phase two, really? First world problems but hey.
  4. Rogue One third viewing. From the arrival of the Death Star at Scarif to the end is absolute emotional perfection!
  5. It was that weird Clone Wars set with the Nikto, Obi Wan disguised as a bounty hunter, and Cad Bane in the alternate outfit.
  6. Excellent rendition, its perfect for system scale and the mix of old and new grey goes a long way to make the Falcon look old (which it is)
  7. I wouldve said quality control but Thrawn still doesn't have yellow pips apparently. That's a bit harsh and I honestly don't mean it to be, I love TLG, but I don't know what else to call it.
  8. If you look at the picture with big brick built version of the mold, it would appear the hind legs are articulated as well as the head.
  9. Wow! Your stretch of Lah'mu looks spot on to Rogue One excellent job!
  10. I'm learning quite a lot from your builds. I too often focus on wanting to build these great epic set pieces even beyond my capacity to photograph and it never works. You on the other hand take very small settings and do so much with them from lighting to characters. I was going to go big again for this but I think i'm going to keep it small scale because of your lead. As for this great job as always. You have a consistent style that's always highly enjoyably to read and peruse!
  11. Does anyone know if the American Thrawn figure has the yellow pips in his rank bars or is still just two strips of blue pips and red pips?
  12. Besides the cornmeal man do we know any other figures?
  13. If you haven't played EaW with Forces of Corruption you have to. The Zynn Consortium can seem like a bit of a stretch at times but honestly all of the stuff added for all of the factions enriches the game so much. First off they add all of the best stuff from the EU from Tie Defenders to Thrawn to a campaign mission where you hijack the eclipse. A whole slew of planets from the EU and Revenge of the Sith are added for instance Kamino where you can purchase infantry squads for a single credit each. There are a lot of refinements that improve on gaps in the base game as well such as repair satellites for space battles, especially good with skirmish mode, and you can start a battle with one ship that warps in and then you can choose the rest of your fleet so you no longer start off with a random mix. My only complaint is that corruption is really really annoying. Sadly Forces of Corruption has not as of yet been made compatible for Mac As for the base game I've found myself in an epic struggle. I chose the Empire Surrounded map and the rebels have me out gunned three to one. Five of my systems are under constant blockade by about ten Mon Cal Cruisers each although thankfully my planetary defenses are so strong they haven't been able to capture any of the planets. The rebels just recently launched a massive ground campaign at Abregado Rae with an army of fifty infantry platoons, forty plex troopers, and several wings of airspeeders My stormtrooper battalion and AT-ST divisions behind a shield wall managed to hold their ground and drive the rebels off. Unfortunately if any of the blockaded systems were to fall the rebels have a direct connection to Coruscant, Sullust, Corellia, and Byss. Thankfully I captured Sullust early in the war as the Rebels have firm holds over Kuat and Fondor and therefore can produce capital ships with impunity.
  14. All you need now is a little rebel transport to smash against your bow!
  15. There are usually upgrades on ground maps. You click on the facility that produces a unit and it should have upgrades available (also depends on tech level I believe.) Stormtroopers like rebel troopers are alright when you put them into that cover mode but otherwise as you say are awful. As for AT-STs yeah their chin guns arent brilliant against infantry. However if you have at least four they can physically wipe out enemy infantry quickly by stepping on them.
  16. They canceled a Tartovosky movie for this? Wow then if the Emoji movie fails they only have themselves to blame. Sadly im begining to think this movie may actually do well and at least make the budget back.
  17. I just learned something from an article that is mind blowing in an embarrassing way. Apparently it was to most of the ILM staff too when working on Rogue One. I have long assumed that the original famous Star Wars trench run, the one we have all seen a million times, is in the equator trench that bisects the Death Star. You know the giant trench that you always see? well that is where the obvious problem lies. The equatorial trench is massive ehich we see can have many large hanger bays stacked on eachother and still have lots of space. The trench run on the other hand occurs in a space barely wide enough to fit two starfighters side by side. That is when you realize A New Hope shows you the real location in Dodonna's briefing. The Trench run occurs above the superlaser dish in a trench going north to south.
  18. Im fairly certain the AT-ST should be an inch taller if minifigure scale.
  19. They have inifinte number of X wings, and Y Wings and Corvettes because you need to destroy the Space Station hanger bay. In my experience you always target the shield generator first then the hanger. If you ever want to play with mods or are open to it I would reccomend Thrawn's Revenge and the Clone Wars mod. They make the galaxy absolutely massive.
  20. Sir Patrick Stewart is voicing the poo emoji...the fact this movie facilitated my ever writing such a statement precipitates my absolute disdain for this film.
  21. I don't know. I wouldn't mind seeing her as a live action Ashoka but in the past as Ashoka must remain dead. Death is already so rare in Star Wars that when it happens its important. To resurrect her as it were would be to diminish any of the impact of Rebels season 2 and for me feel like a cop out. Also whats up with the angry Yoda profile. It seems to be popping up quite a bit?
  22. Or maybe we just all wait and see...no one has to confirm anything if they cant. This is a rumor thread afterall, we ruminate. let us listen to Stash, without any facts its pointless arguing whether something exists that no one can properly prove or disprove.
  23. Sir Von said the UCS will be spherical and not a rehash of a previous UCS. This has led to the most likely option of BB8, as I imagine the DS1 is too close to the UCS DS2. Thats all. As Stash said though it has veered into speculation so you havent missed anything factual.
  24. Sphere? UCS RATHTAR? All kidding aside BB8 UCS would be a genius idea. Clearly regardless of where we stand with it some of the best parts of the Force Awakens were unequivocally BB-8. Hes an instantly beloved and iconic character and if released now it would most likely be in stock the duration of the sequel movies release schedule.
  25. A UCS Falcon would sell like hotcakes. Honestly I still remember the original UCS appearing everywhere from late night shows to sitcoms (I'm pretty sure of the latter). The Millennium Falcon IS the most iconic Star Wars ship, appeared in Revenge of the Sith, all of the original movies and will continue to appear throughout the next trilogy and most likely at least appear in the Han Solo movie (even if at the time it's still Lando's ship). Even at six hundred it will sell.
