The Venator is probably my favorite capital ship in the SW franchise. So what better tribute to this ship than bringing it to life a second time? And since this version will likely be the last, I wanted this build to set a milestone in my work. A proof of my dedication to a spaceship I love so much. Enter the Ultimate Venator-class Star Destroyer! At almost 7,000 pieces and 85cm (33.4") long, this model is a faithful, screen-accurate replica of the Venator featured in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Neither quite UCS-sized nor Midi-Scale like my Negotiator, it had to be the most refined Venator I could possibly make. I modeled it closely after the source material to capture all the proportions, angles and intricacies of the original design at a reasonable size. Although this isn't a direct update to my Negotiator but a separate model, the 25% increase in size gave me a lot more wiggle room, opening the door to drastically more complex design choices: fully SNOT wings on both the top and underside, clean tapers and angles, brick-built Open Circle Fleet symbols... although challenging, this intermediate scale offered just enough space to achieve the prop look I strive for. And the best part is, this model scales perfectly with 2mpaired's Eviscerator ISD. I realized this shortly after settling on the size... the idea of pairing such a beauty with a matching-scale Venator made me even more motivated about this project. Although it's a pure display model, its sturdy integrated stand makes it easy to handle safely. Lateral hangars can be switched between closed doors and deflector shields for variety. Are the Star Wars prequels good or bad? Love them or hate them, Star Wars prequels are part of the saga. But why do you love them? Or why do you hate them? Do explain your stances. I find that the prequels had good storylines but the movie was filmed badly. Bad acting, awkward actors, CGI overuse… However, I read the prequel books before watching the movies, and I enjoyed the storyline, particularly Revenge of the Sith. It is clear that good filmmaking, not necessarily good storyline, is important for a successful Star Wars (or any other) film. In my opinion, the prequels had good stories while The Force Awakens did not; however, the Force Awakens had been filmed well while the prequels had not. Thus, The Force Awakens is generally more popular among the Star Wars community than the prequels. But what do you think?

Hi, As the Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace - turns 25 (already!!!) this year, and some sweet sets (ekhm...droideka) coming along, I decided to also build one of the icons of the film, and, dare I say, one of the most beautiful Star Wars ship designs ever, the Naboo N-1 starfighter. So, as the N-1 minifig scale built by @Inthert is the pinnacle of this design nearly impossible to improve upon, I went for the model in much smaller (I guess it is mini or larger micro...) scale with an aim to build it as sleek as possible utilizing metallic parts as much as possible.
