Well thanks for commenting on this and awarding it 5 pts. I thought it looked a little rushed, but it seems to be alright. @mk: me neither, but the game itself sounded like a lot of fun and it's always great to take a challenge. And, this is only going to help me get better in creating medieval mocs again!

Any other Mitgardians who feel like reading 31 pages of pm conversation (Kawashita and M.A.N.T.I.S. members excluded of course )? -

Well thanks guys, glad you all like it! To be honest, I never had a mosquito in mind when I build this. I was much rather thinking of some weird kind of humming bird thing and it just happened to come together in my hands like this without me thinking much ... @Zepher: you'd be surprised as to what weird rock formations geology has come up with on our own planet. Check this out for instance: Yellow Rock, Utah

Location: H09 Wastyria Tags: engineering, mining rig, civil When Henry H3 Himmelmann was finally released from E01 he was sobered up enough to dutifully commence his next mission. This time mission objective was to see if he couldn't fix the problems a rookie engineer had run into setting up a mining rig on H09 ... Henry mumbled angrily: "Ah ya damn rookies fresh out of engineering school, ya know everything about electronics and biotics and what not. But it when it really comes down to fixing a mechanical problem you look like a whale stranded on a beach!" "Mr. H3" "Ya can call me Henry, I hate that damn H3 name" "Mr. H3 Sir, what are you doing there" "Well young fella, what d'ya think I'm doing?" "Er Sir, is that a hammer you've got in your hand there?" Henry started to laugh loudly: "Yeah a hammer, what else do you thing it is kiddo?" "Er Sir, yeah I think I'v read about hammers before but I don't really know what they do I have to admit!" "Well, let me show you!" And so without further explaination Henry took his hammer and swang it into the jammed structure. *clang* - the entire structure shook and they young engineer began to fear that it was going to collapse for good. But eventually the crane began moving again ... The reason why Octan had decided to place a mining rig on this tiny island in the first place was that around a small outcrop in the middle of a large ocean a whole series of black smokers had been discovered. Mission objective was to study if there were other rare minerals to be mined and to study if live out here was working under the same principles as on earth.

Instantly recocinzeable and a very amusing sci-fi adaption. Not so fond of the dead Octanian though ...

Oh wow, this is just so awesome! I basiscally like everything about it, but what is really amazing is the story, what a (first) climax to our story! And, it seems you have returned to yellow!

wooah, what a blow. Kinda interesting to watch this "ceasefire" between mantis and kawashita. Sure hope you guys never negotiate a ceasefire with us if it's this terrifying. So how do you guys look when you are at war with each other?

Haha this is really a lot of fun. Curious how we both came up with three legged, lime green creatures!

Location: E01, Donwarr Tags: Challenge 1, AG, Octan From far above Donwarr may seem not to be such an alien world altogether. But when our probes got close to the surface, especially on the regions where the planet's strong tectonic forces had ripped open the surface, it became quickly obvious that this was indeed a strange world. The chemistry on this planet works very different from what we know on earth and therefore everything, from rocks to plants to animals, appears to be very odd looking. The planet sponsors a very lush vegetation, but the colors and shapes are different from anything we've seen before. This alien biome is inhabited by a strange three legged and appearently non-predatorial species that sucks the marrow out of the plants without destroying them though, as if it was farming this lush envirionment. Our scientist are not sure if this planet is actually suitable for human colonization but it sure is an interesting place to study! Builder's note: This was really fun to do and quite a break from the stuff I normally do. Not sure why I've never ventured into SciFi before, it just offers so much room for creativity!
