Haha, this is really funny. Interesting how the corporation can afford to have so many of its employees being idle on H 03. Interesting take on the landscape, really like how you included the awesomnium in the rock!

Henry "H3" Himmelmann is done with his first assignment and is trying to reach someone at the headquarter!

Location: H03 - Kaalin Tags: Civil, Building, Octan Henry (Hans-Heinrich "H3" Himmelmann) was in a foul mood this morning. Sure, he was used to be working on strange otherworldly planets. And once again, Octan had send him to a place where he was supposed to work as quick as possible, all by himself and his robots, setting up self supporting living quarters for the explorers and miners to come. So that was nothing new, and fortunately there didn't seem to be that much alien activity around here, for there was nothing Henry hated more than Aliens trying to eat him or his parts alive. But what really annoyed him this moring, besides the usual hangover, was that the communication system had broken down again. Ever since getting here Henry had been able to recieve commands from Octan but was unable to communicate privatley himself at all. Henry wondered, why had Octan send him here with this lousy equipment and why was stuff like that always happening to him! He had finished his work a week ago already and was ready to move on. Not that he didn't mind the extra spare time he got this way after those stressfull first weeks. What really bothered him was that he was running low on booze! And once he was done with this last bottle, he really needed to get out of here again! So Henry put on his helmet and headed out into the cold trying to fix the antenna. H3 really loved this helmet and was hardly ever seen without it. Funnily though, he did not wear it because the planet's atmosphere was unbreathable but simply because breathing pure oxygen helped him getting over his hangover. What Henry did no know was that Octan of course did this to him on purpose. Once his craving got really intense they would reopen the channel and Henry would be so happy that he'd do almost anything if only he could get some new booze ...

Nice landscaping, nice craft, I like it. Making the pic a little brightness though would have helped.

the beacon of Thorshaven has been lid too! Sorry guys, with all the work I was stuck in those last 3 months, I really didn't have that much time to put more effort into my beacon. But I hope it suffises!

Right across Tradwind Bay in Arnarvhall a strange fire had been seen by the men serving as guards on the Thorshaven city wall. The fire on the other side was becoming bigger and bigger until they finally realized that a beacon had been lid. And beacons were only lid in dire emergency. Something really had to be happening in Mitgardia somewhere, and it seemed as if the rumors of invaders coming from the North were all true: The Algus had come! In Thorshaven they hadn't really put much effort into building a beacon, and it was only by the intervention of Elon himself that they had constructed one in the first place, never believing it would ever be lid. But now the fire on top of that strange tower was burning and the people of Thorshaven were dumbstruck!

Hans-Heinrich Himmelmann is reporting for duty. Hans-Heinrich Himmelmann, usually called H3 by everybody in the company (personally he prefers to be called Henry, being embarresed of his German heritage), is a civil engineer specialised on constructing so called earthships, autonomous habitation modules that provide shelter, electricity and food for their occupants. This usually makes H3 one of the first to be delivered to a new planet, an often rather dangerous situation. So after a few years of duty for the Octan Corp. Henry had decided to quit the job, his thirst for adventure had been quenched! However, his little? drinking habit proofed to be rather expensive, forcing him to return into the arms of the company. Octan of course knows about his habbit, but usually remains silent about it, Henry being rather valuable due to his building skills. However, since drinking is not according to the official Octan rules, Henry is always prone to be blackmailed by his superiors, thus driving him even further into the bottle.

quick question, how do we know if a planet has a breathable atmosphere? The first builder decides?

Since I've got tons of Octan stuff, not much dark red and no transparent neon green at all, the choice was an obvious one. Funny how almost half of the GoH crew is ariving here as well, although with different alliences, I kinda like that ...

I'd like to join Octan and was wondering if it was okay to place my introductory build on G06 or if it was better to do so on G05? Note, it's the first time I'll actually build anything sc-fi.
