The roof is actually very stable, the pressure of the 1x1s on the alternating angles actually hold the roof together quite well. I thought it would be unstable as well but it works great!

Here are two better pics to show the lights, I have also added them to the main post. And the camera still makes them not as bright as they are in person.

Thanks! The lights are actually quite bright, but the problem is my camera cannot take a decent pic for some reason when its dark. I'll try to see if I can get a better shot of the lights on.

I bring to you my latest MOC for my latest project I will be building. It is a Japanese restaurant like those you would see in Japan. My project I will be building is a large city block of Japanese style buildings. Here is the first of many buildings that I will build: ON WITH THE PICS! The Front: A pic of the roof: Close up of the detail of the roof: (yes, it is all made up of 1x1 bricks!) The front entrance: Going in! The Module sections all opened up: A basic interior, the cooks are busy frying fish and cutting up fish: Chefs busy cutting: The LED setup: (string of ten LED lights powered by 2AA Batteries) Hard to see, but this shows a bit of the lights inside: BETTER PICS OF THE LIGHTS: (again the camera makes them less bright than they are.) Hope you like my building! More to come as I build more sections! Comments welcome!

I always stack PaB cups, I always try to get the most out of each cup... My cups are always under great pressure and almost solid. I needed a few parts from PaB, yesterday ad here is how I stacked my cups. Here's the haul: The 4 cups: Lids open to expose the top and some of the solid cubes (and yes, I even pack the lids): The 4 solid cubes from the middle of the cups: Everything taken apart: ALL OF THIS CAME FROM 4 CUPS!!! Here is just some of the parts I counted, the rest, there was to much for me to count. 1x8 tan brick: 96 1x4 light bley brick: 156 2x6 reddish brown plate: 270 2x8 black slope: 56 1x1 dark bley brick: many 1x2 reddish brown plate: 85% cup full 6x8 black slopes:8 ...Plus a bunch more!

I've actually had this happen to me a while back also. It was the castle set "Troll Assault Wagon". I got it from TRU a while back. The box is the style that uses tape to seal the box rather than the finger punch, when I opened the box, there was no large troll and the figs were missing! When looking at the still sealed bags, there were signs of tampering at the corners of each bag where there was a tiny hole big enough to squeeze the parts through. The only solution I had done was just used the Customer Service for parts replacement to get the large troll and the other missing fig parts.

I spend way too much, thats all I know. To answer your other questions, yes I buy Extra bricks sometimes instead for just one MOC, because even if I know how many I need for a MOC, there is always a chance that I would need that same piece for another MOC. Its better to have a few more extra pieces on hand than to place more orders and wait.

YES!!! Garry's Mod!!! I love that video, the other Gmod video's in this series are hilarious! I like the one "Quarter life, halfway to destruction". Anyways, great MOC, as soon as I read the title, I somehow knew it would be this motorcycle. I hope you make some more Gmod MOCs.

Mine is still in the box. I'll build it once I'll be done with this semester in school.

I was browsing the various ebay for a few things I would like to get and have found some stuff on Ebay.de, only problem is my German is a bit rusty and cant figure out most of what is saying on some of the auctions. Also I would like someone to help me bid since the seller(s) do not want or cant to ship to the U.S. and it Ebay Wont allow me to bid. If someone can help me bid and win those auctions, I would pay them in full for the auctions plus shipping to the U.S. PM me for more details. (P.S. I hope what I'm asking for is legal on this site since it does happen to pertain to be LEGO on the auctions that I want.)

WOW! Those are all very beautiful buildings! I like how they all look like sets, and the amount of detail you put into them is amazing! Great Job. Oh, and Welcome to Eurobricks!

That, and they have been washed too, some of them had dust on the top, other than that, yes, they are in great condition for their age.

Shopping for Lego in Chicago?
Modulex Guy replied to simonwillems's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Well, we do have 4 LEGO Stores in the area, so there is plenty around here, LEGO Store Schaumburg, Northbrook, Orland Park, DownTown Chicago, and the Discovery Center in Schaumburg as well. The LEGO Stores are your best bet for LEGO. -
Yea, We have the Dodge Journey here in the states, they just flooded the dealers and just sit in the lots unsold.
