Too much! especially looking at some of the rare parts like a 1x3 clear brick, they can go for up to 1 USD a brick or a 1x4x4 window that can go for 20 USD! Pics with a normal 2x4 brick! LEGO on the left, Modulex on the right. Yes, a 2x5 and 1x5 brick! you can also see the "M" or "LEGO" on the studs.
-
Sadly, no it is not compatible with normal LEGO bricks.
-
here is the short definition: Modulex is an architectural brick building system made during the 60's and 70's by the LEGO company. Yes it is LEGO, half the bricks have LEGO on the studs, while others have "M" on them, and they are tiny bricks compared to LEGO, less than half the size a 1x1 is a 5mm cube.

Yes, the tiles are the same height as the bricks. And yes there are Modulex slopes in many different heights, I just havent gotten any (yet).

Like the title states, I have over 20,000 bricks of Modulex and 4 very large baseplates that I have no idea on what to build. I would like some suggestions on what to do. I'm up in the air with a few ideas: Castle Japanese Temple Small City but I could use some more ideas or pick one of the three above. Here are pics of what I have to work with:

Technically these are sets as they were sold as just the car with the garage and just the truck in a little box. 1961 for the White Karmann Ghia, and 1963 for the Black Type 1. the Mercedes Esso Tanker is from 1964.

Awesome! ...Now, Where can I get some of these?!?

No love for the Minivan? Oh come on, Minivans rock! We have a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan with the Stow & Go seating and its great for transporting things to and from the LEGO Shows. this was me transporting my display to Brickworld 09' there was still so much more I could have gotten in there if I folded down the middle row. (my Dub is there in the background ) My Mom also has a 2008 Honda Odyssey for work which is the best minivan EVAR!!! Its quite quick for a van... If she does not need it for work anymore, it will be mine and I'll turn it into a track rat like this one: Or I'll just go straight up Bosozoku on it.

Brick separators are the best, for the plates.

Oh, and to add a bit more to the story, I had looked at Seth's posts and he said that he had the car restored right at Christmas and took the photo... The problem here though, is that photo is from 2008, not this past Christmas.

I GOT YOU SETH!!! Since I Admin on a few car forums and Moderate on many others, I have seen my fair share of phony picture posts, a quick search of the interwebs has lead me to some info of that Dodge Charger. Here we go... I first started to search google images for "Black Dodge Charger" and came up with lots of new charger pics. I then refined the search to "Classic Black Dodge Charger" again, many results BUT! a few pictures in, I had found the right picture!!! Ta Da! It is Bruce Willis's Charger that went up for auction... yes Bruce Willis's. I'm not posting the image with [\img] to show you the actual link of the photo. http://image.motortrend.com/f/auctions/bru...dge-charger.jpg Here is a link of the auction: http://www.luxist.com/photos/bruce-willis-...aucton/1109111/ And MotorTrend: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt...jEoPnlAeMheGsBw The links and images also appear on many sites from Autoweek, Motortrend, autoblog, autoacid, dubdaily, and more. Just search "Bruce Willis Charger" and that same exact pic is EVERYWHERE!!!! I Win. Sorry Seth, I have caught you.

Harlequin!!! Based off of the limited edition of 248 VW MKIII Golfs made called "Golf Harlequin"! Pic of the real car: I also like how the LEGO colors match the real car.

Ah yes, the various phases... I've been through all of those at one point or another. Lets see, Builders block, this was/is the worst to go through, no matter how hard you try to build something, you just cant seem to accomplish it, you have the ideas flowing but it just cant seem to come to built the way you want it. The building crave is what I just went through yesterday, I was watching my favorite anime series and there was a nice house in the background that was just asking to be built, so, I paused the movie, sat down, started building, 5 straight hours later (and this was all at about 1 in the morning) I finished it, all watery eyed and tired, I think it turned out great! (will be posting on EB soon) And lastly the buying phase... this can be very very... expensive. I have done this lots of times where I just walk into the LEGO Store and just binge on PaB and can easily buy 6 to 8 cups at a time and new sets just to have them. I think this is the hardest to overcome for me because... well, there is just way to many cool sets and parts out there that my brain just tells me "Buy it NOW!"

Steaming hot water hurts bricks?
Modulex Guy replied to Jack Bricker's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Any heat that is more than normal may cause the bricks to warp slightly. If they do warp there is a possibility to lose their clutching power or not align properly. The best way to clean bricks is with warm water, not steaming hot. -
I have hundreds of Diecast cars ranging from 1/64 hot wheels to 24k gold plated NASCARs to 1/12 scale dragsters. I also collect a few Gundam Wing kits here and there and manga books plus other random thing I cant remember what I have.

Well, a lot of my family and friends are coming over to our house... where I will be doing things I shouldn't say on these boards.
-
HEY! VWVortex buddy! Glad to see you made it over to EB!
-
Pick. a. Brick. Its what LEGO stores have and its basically pick your own bricks in a cup and you buy them.
-
I don't know... I have the same problem. This is from many PaB cups filling voids and "topping off" large cups.

I didnt get any LEGO this Christmas ( never asked for any) but I had my hopes up on buying myself a new set of wheels for my car. I guess I'll wait till Spring or early Summer.
