Hey Brickster... If you are looking for longer shelves like that, Ikea has the same type of shelf but in different lengths. I think they have 3 and 4 foot sections for the same price as the target ones.

Anyone watch Qualifying today?? Massa's Crash was horrible, he got hit in the head with a spring off of Ruben's Braun car. I hope he recovers well from the incident.

What's a good camera for taking pics of Lego?
Modulex Guy replied to user's topic in General LEGO Discussion
A good white background helps alot. Any camera can be a good camera as long as it is set up right and it has the macro setting. -
It should work, I've used these before as train wheels for a Maintenance train: The technic wheel works decent on the track, just not high speeds, I think your wheels should work too.

Hello fellow Polish dude! I like your Locomotive, its very realistic!

That is why you have a vacuum with a canister and not bag, I suck up tons of bricks in my room, just take them out of the bit of dust, rinse them under water, good as new. Here is a good one: You know you are a LEGO fan when you are going to your weekly car club event, stop at the LEGO store before the meet, spend all the money on PaB and have no cash left for dinner. (I do it almost every week)

You know you are a LEGO fan when... ...the LEGO store close to you employees and manager know you by name. ...you get mad when people say "lego's" when it should be "LEGO". ...you start to sell off your other hobby to fund your LEGO. (me selling my diecasts to buy LEGO ) ...you can find LEGO in every room of your house. Well, thats all I can think of right now.

Fabuland Builders Guild - Discussion Thread
Modulex Guy replied to Shadows's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Hey Fabuland guys!!! I can now say that I'm the proud owner of my first Fabuland figures! here they are: I'm so happy! I can't wait to get more! -
What really stinks is that I have not bought any of these due to lack of funds, but I want to buy them. I hope Cafe Corner will still be in stores by the holiday season, that would be my best chance to get one.
-
That is one thing that I would not want to know. haha I just went through Brickset and got 105,271 parts owned just in sets, I most likely have another 50,000 or more in PaB

Brickshelf is back up!!!!!!!!!
-
Well, I noticed that Brickshelf was down right now, they either might be doing an update to the site or there is a problem with the server. It also affects the sigfig pics on this site and links to Brickshelf because the URLs are linked to their server. When the site goes back up, the pics will be back. This also applies to other photo sites, if thier site is down, every link to that site will be down as well. <-- my sigfig not affected because mine is deeplinked with Photobucket, your's I guess brickshelf.

I only use 9v track in old grey with 9v trains, I dont own any R/C or PF trains (yet). I never really liked the dark bley tracks.

The little cases the cars are in are the actual packaging that these cars were sold in! they just had a little paper wrapper around them to keep the car from falling out.

Modulex was a company made by the LEGO group in the early 60's intended for adults as a architectural series. Glad you like them. about 1 year, all this stuff came from estate sales, auctions and other places.

I'm going to Brickworld. I'm bringing my city with me and most likely will be displaying with NILTC in the main layout, if my section is too big I might have to seperate. Its too early to tell at this point on how big I'm building, but I know its gonna be big!!! See you all there.

No. I find it a bit more fun to build an unsorted set, its a bit more of a time-waster to search for the right part. For example, when I got the Medieval Market set, I opened each bag and dumped them all back in the box, shook it up like a martini, spilled it on the table and began building. Took me two afternoons but I finished the set.

Quick question about trading?
Modulex Guy replied to Modulex Guy's topic in Forum Information and Help
OK, thanks for the info! -
Now I know that my post count is not high enough to post in the trade boards yet, but, I just have one question: Are we allowed to trade not LEGO Items for LEGO?? For example of what I want to do: I have about 300 Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars mint in package that I really don't need anymore (thinning out my other hobby collection), most are limmited editions, rare variations, common cars, etc. Could I trade them for LEGO? to someone who also collects diecast cars?
