  1. Yes, it helps! Thanks! So treads patterns are different too?
  2. Ahh, info was there all along, thanks Jim! so they are not same diameter...93.2mm - 94.2mm I guess tread pattern is not same, either?
  3. I tried to compare them in mlcad, but there are not both types of them.
  4. EDIT: Totally forgot to finish writing title....sorry. What is the difference between these two tires: 1. Black Tire 94.2mm D. x 22mm Motorcycle Racing Tread (http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=88516) and, 2. Tire Technic Street Bike (8420) - Narrow, Front (http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=51380) I am primarily interested in diameter difference, if the is any. I tried to count studs on pictures, but not very accurate, tried in Mlcad, but there isn't both type of tires, tried wheel charts, not both types... It looks like latter tire is full rubber, so I guess wheels are not interchangeable. Thanks in advance!
  5. 27: 10 1: 6 15: 4 28: 3 10: 2 33: 1
  6. I dont get what you guys are talking about...what instructions as a prize? Maybe there should be one contest without prizes, too? Just plain simple build of!
  7. You need to use more than one motor when the vehicle is heavy or needs more speed. Such a drive setup is usually hard coupled, mostly to save space and keep drivetrain strong. If you are worried about different rpms between same motors, you can check them by connecting two of them to a differential setup, in a way that you attach motors on the axles where the wheels should be and power them on. Driveshaft that powers the differential (which is loose for this test) should not be rotating, if rpms of the motors are same. If you mean using two different drive motors, then you need to place differential between them to compensate their different rpms.
  8. Yeah, Raphael Oswald is to me by far the best retired studfull builder!
  9. El Caracho was one of my favorites whe I got back to LEGO, both because of his great mocs, and his great writeups about them. Also great but not active anymore: http://www.texbrick....dels/index.html http://www.raffatag....ne_modelle.html edit: TJ already added, but he deserves it :)
  10. Welcome and have fun!
  11. Welcome to EB!
  12. Welcome to the forums!
  13. Welcome. Make sure not to mention your age too often, and post maturely.
  14. What a nice view, and what a great introduction!
  15. My strategy is to just outmaneuver and push you out of field. Bring your best batteries, I say!
  16. Wow...wait a minute Leo. You are attacking moderator for what? For letting people upload entries on Monday? He said for himself: "Deadline date is February 15th, 2015. Contest will be closed on Monday the 16th, so you will have the entire Sunday to build" So all is correct. Deadline is 15th, he locked the topic on Monday. I don't get all the hate you are expressing toward Jim, he worked, and still does to provide this contests we are all excited about, including you with your Huracan. Lets just enjoy the contest!
  17. Thanks! Opinions of the windows are divided, but I think that this way model looks more like real vehicle, to me. Gti180, nice machine on the avatar! Cat, I suppose.
  18. There is topic just for that: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=92099
  19. Oh yeah :) But your link does not show the machine very well. Here is my version: Oh and I enjoyed that cartoon when I was a kid. Your machine may just inspire me to watch it over again now.
  20. You made it! Great entry, and as always, great photos!
  21. I loved this entry from the beginning, and I love it now cos it is small and functional and nice. Not a place for this remark here, but anyway...I think you should not make a video so long, especially for the contests, when there are 45+ videos to watch and choose. 3-4 minutes are max, so people can see as much as possible.
