Is this the biggest entry so far? Great Truck and great functions! One of my top three so far!
-
I fully agree that this model (and entry) is probably the best and totally deserves the place in HOF, I am just not sure how fair it is to promote one entry (that is participating in the contest) in such a way, before the contest voting. This also happened with the MT contest, when Polo-Freak's Fiesta got in HOF before contest was still on. Again, both of these models belongs in the HOF, I just don't think it is fair to the other participants, that they belong there before voting ends.

Looking good! Will you make it until the deadline? -
Welcome! Luckily, that is one of the smallest pieces possible!

I am sure there will be enough. Some entries are done, but not yet filmed, some are near finish.

Generic Contest Discussion

I agree. And lets not wait until Arocs to come online. -
I love the atmosphere here! Everyone is getting his entry almost ready, but not yet done! Everyone is sacrificing other chores to do this, myself included! And so many entries still not presented, this will be great contest!

You don't need SBrick, neither Android phone to participate. Just build something that has 4 functions and use 2 lego receivers.

Real power of Lego motors?
Milan replied to ben20's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
People here who knows a thing or two about that often recommend use of the rechargeable batteries. Even though 7.2V (or 7.4V for battery box) is lower than 9V, in reality rechargeable ones are better. When under stress, they provide more constant flow, while 9V ones can "sag" and their voltage can drop bellow 7.2V. Also, 7.2 provide good flow even when they near the end of the capacity, while 9 drop flow as they deplete. -

And just to note, negative effects only happens when angle of the Ujoints is different than zero, otherwise it does not matter how you will position them. -

I don't want to crucify you, neither I understand why you are so offensive. I did not know if you are joking with equalizing CV and Ujoints, so I was just ask the question. And please don't tell me what to do with my life, this topic is for Mercedes stuffs.. -

You typed CV instead of U-Joints (or Cardan Joint) to save time?
