  1. The back of the body work looks like 42070... unfinished. It needs a tailgate for sure. And the rear fender needs to be finished. Good progress though! The lowered roof makes it look more like a super jacked up camaro. I'd go back to the higher roof
  2. The truck doesn't even hesitate pulling that. Dang! I would say test the limit of the pulling strength of the truck, but I don't want you to break something. Really impressed, but that is not unexpected coming for you!
  3. Now that you mention it, your right. That's funny, maybe the companies have a connection?
  4. True, but seriously, the resemblance between the models is astonishing
  5. You were an inspiration to the engineers at Claas! Now you just need to make a silage/wood chip bucket for your loader.
  6. That grill is much much better! My only criticism is that the red flex axle does not need to be there. A lot of the time when people actually build these kinds of crazy lifted trucks, they have to cut the fenders for clearance. Most of the time the fenders are not rounded like you are trying to do with the flex axle. While it does not look bad with it there, it does not need to be. Keep up the good work EDIT: I did a quick search and found a trial truck pickup that has the fenders that match what you have without the flex axle, just giving you some ideas.
  7. I was working on an axle for the MOC I am doing. I am somewhat happy with it, but I figured I could post it here and maybe get some feedback. The shocks go downward and connect to the blue pin/axle connector near the bottom. It has the opportunity to have powered axles, but I will not be doing that. Also, I will be trying to make the rearmost axle steerable once my bricklink order comes in. LDD file https://bricksafe.com/files/Aminnich/gsk55/Axle.lxf
  8. Where did you find such a bargain?
  9. I have used this setup, with Andy's knowledge, and it is a fantastic setup. Works extremely well!!
  10. Yes, sorry I could not remember what it was called.
  11. If only you could incorporate the differential. At the end of the video, I see (actually hear) one flaw. When you let off the throttle, the gears had a lot of backlash. Good way to burn up a motor.
  12. What something like this; in middle school I had a project that everyone was given a final task (raise a flag "x" amount) and everyone had their own contraption to do that task. It would be a totally different type of contest for sure.
  13. The only parts I have ever had break, were parts that came broken when I bought a lot. I don't know what you guys are doing, stop breaking your stuff haha
  14. I think I now have 7 of them? I think? I dont even know
  15. @Jim were the polls not fixed? I can not see the results.
  16. I am curious how many of you guys have a pullback motor.
  17. IMO: size limits are silly (but I understand why you have them) Limitations on what is inside the model is silly One pull-back motor is what is similar between all of the contestants (I understand that) Why 2 vehicles? Are you trying to go for something like the LEGO sets where the pullbacks to combine? I don't know about a contest like this. I mean how many people here have a pullback motor?
  18. I say just add a price next to your list of parts you have per lot. It will give everyone a better idea of what you want for each lot.
  19. Ok so not taking the width into account. Figure out the ratio of the diameter of the real tire to the tumbler tire. If you do not know how, post the diameter (or radius) of the real tire and we can help you.
  20. First question, which tires are you going to be using? We can all help you better after that. The MOC revolves around the tires, as you can not change those.
  21. Did you decide on a truck to somewhat mode this build after? The body is starting to look like a square body Chevy
  22. I like, but here is my criticism. I like the head lights the most, nice a square (goes well with older style trucks) As for the engine, adding a blower on top would look really good I am not crazy about the grill
  23. That is hard to tell. What is the part connected to the 16t gear connected to the rudder axle? From the steering wheel down, there are 3 16t gears, the bottom one is the one I am talking about. In the picture, to the left of the gear, what is that part? It looks like it has a small hole in it?? and the part goes down.
  24. No, this model is a great example of a technical model. Instead of moving the sail with your hand, you can move the steering wheel and the pulleys and gears will turn the sail. This is a great model, but... I will not be buying it.
