  1. Did I miss something??? Do we have pictures of H2?
  2. That's my question! What should I be thinking about??
  3. @Jim as for length of the contest, keep in mind most colleges go back mid January.
  4. How much are you planning on your trailer being able to lift? I am not sure you are including yourself in "most buyers"
  5. Correct if there is a trash can on the driver side, the driver can get it and the other guy can keep the truck moving.
  6. That's correct, didn't think about that. The real garage truck has a steering wheel (and pedals) on both sides.
  7. I wasn't going to mention it, but why not. When lowering the container you would want to keep it as close to the trailer as possible at all times. This might mean using 2 of the knobs at once to keep the container nice and close. This was going to be a test I did. How much weight the container could hold. I hope it can hold something, anything!
  8. I do not know the answer simply because I do not have the model in hand, but does the second hidden steering wheel turn when you steer the truck? If it does, I am going to guess TLG set it up like that to easily make the truck into a daycab :)
  9. sweet video, thanks for that! Whats up with the white box inside????
  10. I like it, matches the truck you most recently posted very well.
  11. I know we just wrapped up a contest, but I think I would be nice to have one while the college students are home for winter break. I know I would have way more time and I know of a few other builders that can't participate in contests because of college. Just a thought
  12. For a mini model, not bad. For the lift, is the only thing keeping the lift up the friction in the pins? Looks that way. I think you could incoororate some kind of gearing to keep everything in the upright position. Nice job!
  13. I am glad you thought of something better to do for the rear of this tractor! I cannot wait to see what you have in mind!
  14. You have do it again! As many have said, you are the master C-model builder for this set! my one comment would be to get rid of the rear loader arm, it looks weak. IMO, I think the model would actually look better without it. Great job!
  15. A response within 16 minutes is nothing to complain about, we cannot be on here 24/7 to answer questions. A problem like this should be self-diagnosed.
  16. You must not have one of the pneumatic hoses hooked up right. Does it open? Make sure the connections are correct
  17. I stand corrected, didnt realize it stuck out that far
  18. Looks like you were able to build you LDD quite nicely! I am glad that it worked out for you. One thing I have to point out, the bed of the truck looks like it is too far past the rear axle. I guess it really depends on how long you are making the truck, but that is my opinion. Nice work!
  19. Btw, I did the math. The cost of the panels you would need for a 53' trailer comes to about $86. You could almost buy a whole other set!
  20. Different clountries have different road laws for different weight classes. They actually could be illegal in your country
  21. I'm referring to something like this
  22. If we know the length of the Mack track model, this image could help with scaling. EDIT: also, maybe we should consider a MOD page for the MACK?
