  1. It's meant to be a CLAAS, not a John Deere, so yellow rims wouldn't be overly accurate. White rims might work if you take inspiration from FS17 mods... However, these only ever came in two sets, so hope you've got 'em in reserve, @Thirdwigg...
  2. Actually think the B model might look and work better than the A. Just a thought.
  3. Right. The engine section is way too big and bulky, and the dimensions are all off. Totally agree. I'm fully aware that this is all preliminary, so I will reserve final opinions for when we get the real McCoy. It doesn't look good now, though.
  4. This looks brilliant! Great work.
  5. I know, that's what I meant. Looks like we'll have to wait for videos to actually see it in action.
  6. Is the log freestanding when that happens, or do you have to hold it in place while the head swoops in? I've rechecked the pic and understand it a little better now - the rollers bring the log in and the red blade slices it. Actually quite cool if it does work. Though the model still looks like a Greek salad on wheels.
  7. And you cross the finish line, Doug! Wonderful job, it's been a journey like no other.
  8. Ah! Good to be back after the maintenance delay. Anyway, I've been goggling at 42080 again and it just looks like a complete and utter mess. The colours are all over the place, the construction is inelegant, it barely resembles a forest harvester, and the accessories (the stand thing and what looks like a tool of some sort) seem like something out of a City set. Plus, I have no idea how the actual harvesting function is meant to work. Also, incidentally (not sure if I'd count this as a criticism) the spinning yellow blades on the head look like the round spiky rock parts from Nexo Knights.
  9. Brilliant work Doug! This really is a beast. Do you reckon you've learned anything new from this build?
  10. Agh! I meant 42028, the bulldozer. He did put the set number on it, though.
  11. He's done 42004 and 42038 before, so it isn't too much of a surprise.
  12. Wow. The Harvester is the worst? How so? Good to hear the Volvo is cool, though. That's what I'd hoped it would be.
  13. Got this set back in January from my local Smyth's. Very cool tiny set, with a function we don't see much. I like the looks; they're quite intricate considering the small part count. The chunky steering is somewhat of a trade-off, but it works too well to be something to complain about. I also like that TLG is scattering newer parts around a bit, i.e. the curved DBG panels from the Mack and rally car. Good to see that they aren't making too many unique parts.
  14. He's not lying, people: Reckon this is what the 42070 B model is based upon. The ones in the video don't have opening body panels, though. Still, given the original purpose of the Tundra Buggy, which is to study polar bears, the term "Research Explorer Vehicle" for the 42070 B makes a lot more sense now. Oh, and the MOC. Brilliant stuff!
  15. Could be that it has a standard turntable and uses wheels or rollers to give it stability.
  16. You'd probably have to see them side by side to know.
  17. Righty-ho! And here's a possible explanation as to why 42081 is labelled as "Volvo Autonomous" rather than "ZEUX" as seen in the prelim catalogue; apparently Volvo's had some hitches in trademarking the name.
  18. No. Nothing. If there were any information, it'd be here.
  19. Looks brilliant! Bulky yet streamlined.
  20. Close to the end now! Great to see it's Technic fig compatible. Wish I still had my old figs, but they went in a clear-out a few years ago. Like the use of the DBG steering wheel too!
  21. Go for 42054! The building techniques are brilliant.
