  1. Mm-hm. Pointless. But at least PF orange blends in with the rest of the model. I reckon the Volvo models are following a pattern: full PF (42030), partial/optional PF (42053) and no PF (42081). Would be funny if they were.
  2. Love this! Might try building it myself.
  3. Well, I don't know for sure but I'm leaning towards the first one.
  4. Doesn't look like it, no. I did think the big counterweight on the back would be where the battery box would go, though. Doesn't the counterweight move? If so, a PF cable is flexible and therefore can move with it.
  5. That's really good! TLG should have done something similar in 42070.
  6. It's only happened going in forward so far.
  7. Got a problem with 42070 which I bought a few weeks ago. Just recently the vehicle started making a snapping noise every so often when driving it around. I cannot for the life of me figure it out. Everything else seems to work fine. I'm aware that others such as @Twedo have had this issue; can anyone help me out? Cheers for any info!
  8. Not a car person so this is a skip for me. But I do like the fact that Dark Azure is enjoying an upsurge. Plus it's nice to see the red CLAAS rims being used for another set (plus 42082 in the summer). Good set, but not my bag sadly.
  9. Actually, the 1H sets have contributed massively as well, including a large wheel arch.
  10. Hopefully the engine will be a bit more visible this time. They missed out the one gap on the Porsche that mattered.
  11. Uh, that, I guess. Plus it doesn't need batteries to function. Personally, it's my favourite of the 2H sets (as if what I've been nattering about for the past few months convinced you otherwise).
  12. You'd really need to slim out the arm. On 42080 it looks clunky and inelegant.
  13. I do appreciate the nice things you had to say about this set, Milan; it makes a difference, but I'm more inclined to agree with Sariel's review. This set is awful and doesn't even resemble an actual hovercraft. I'm thinking the designers started out with a ferry but had to make tradeoffs until someone thought, "Hey! Hovercraft!" Poor. Total miss for me.
  14. Brilliant work Waler! This looks just like a Grimme SE 75-55, and the belts are a work of art.
  15. As do I. I think it'd be a bit stupid if it was pointing skyward the whole time.
  16. Not a fan of this one. I know it's pretty standard Technic fare at this size and scale, with quick suspension and a few simple functions, but it just lacks something. Maybe it's just the profusion of fire vehicles recently after an 11-year gap (42068, 42084-B and now this). It's like waiting for a bus: wait ages and three show up at once! The new recolours are nice, though.
  17. Depends on who the designer is. If it's Grohl, he'll find a way to make that work.
  18. Anywhat, let us indeed regain our heading. Volvo! ZEUX or no ZEUX? How do you even pronounce it? Zeus? Zoo? Zed-ee-yoo-ex? At least we all know how to pronounce Sfinx!
  19. Apparently, Volvo's had trouble trademarking the ZEUX name. I linked to the article a couple of pages ago, but here it is again: boom.
  20. Wow, you've actually made this set look interesting! Brilliant stuff.
  21. That would make sense regarding the dark green panels; they just don't go with the rest of the model. Lime long curved panels? Maybe. But they don't exist in dark green either, so maybe they are final. I hope they aren't dark green on the actual model - they just look awful.
  22. I really don't think TLG are going to whack smaller CLAAS tyres on 42080. I do think the hubs should be a different colour; the black ones are WAY overused.
