Thanks guys! @blackdeathgr Actually, Dove has made two very profitable unescorted bounty runs for a total of 41db - not bad for a Class 0!
-
Honoré Sarrazin decided that he needed an easier way of getting around, and thus comissioned a single horse chaise from a local coach builder to travel the island on. A little expiriment in coachbuilding. I'll follow it up later with larger and more complex carriages.
-
Mr. Sarrazin, I write to you to express my thanks for saving my father, with your vessel the Dove. Enclosed is a cheque for the amount of 20db. This vignette portrays how the Dove managed to make 20db (!) this MCRA.

Thanks, looks like I did income correctly then. I'll have to set down this weekend and comb through the sheets to figure it out.
-
Which column is supposed to be our current balance? According to my own spreadsheet I'm supposed to have a balance of 7 dubloons, pending the MCRA resolution. Shall I type it up and send it to you for evaluation? The one error I may have made is in income. If I liscence a property in say, February, do I see income from it in March or in April? I figured not until April so I may have shorted myself.

That's quite the fine ship you have! I can only imagine the amount goods she'll carry on her voyages. -
That's massively amazing! Not only did you build a huge factory, but it's detailed and well built too. The scenery is a nice touch as well. You even included the company rat-catcher!

Thank you everyone! -
Thank you! I will add some rigging and sails later and post the fresh photos - I think I want to try cloth instead of paper this time.

Thank you very much everyone! -
Thank you everyone! I will try and add some scrub brush around the vines, and see how it looks. It's built on MILS terrain standards, so I'll be able to expand it into a larger plantation.
-
Thanks everyone!: I specifically modeled it after the Canary Islands vinyards, I'm going to do some European style ones later. http://www.cellartours.com/spain/spanish-wine-regions/canary-islands.html Those will have vines growing along wires and stakes in the vertical.

[OL - AprFB2] Winter of the Juniper War
The Sarge replied to The Sarge's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks everyone! I will keep in mind texturing the snow better next time. Perhaps some smooth slopes and curves might help. As for the pasty Corrie, I use flesh for my SW and WW2 stuff, but I allowed a cross over here. Glad to hear it worked. -
I think it's viable as long as they put in figures that either wouldn't ever see a set, might see a set once in five or ten years, or only arrive in super expensive sets. Remember, not everyone can afford a Star Destroyer or Death Star set and Lego doesn't make any extra money from Bricklink sales of the individual figures. So they could eke out a little more cash from a CMF line. They'd also be more likely to get money from the larger Star Wars fan base and collectors who may not want or have room for full sets. So, let's put together some wishlists! Ep.I Queen Amidala - Couruscant Naboo Guard variation R2-C4 (Yellow, Hangar scene) Naboo pilot Nemoidian Bridge Officer Senator Palpatine Chancellor Valorum New Gungan print Boss Nass Ep.II Clone trooper - Red fatigues Clone trooper trainee - blue fatigues "Old Watto" print New Geonosian print Dexter - unless we get a Dex's Diner set One of the Jedi Council members Taun We Lama Su Ep.III Tion Medon Grey - trimmed Couruscant clone trooper Camoflauged Super Battle Droid & Battle Droid (together, I don't think they're enough packaged individually) New Wookie print Jedi Youngling Ep.IV Updated Grand Moff Tarkin General Tagge Admiral Motti Any Rebel pilot we don't have yet R3-M3 R5-K6 Rebel Honor Guard Ep.V Major Toryn Farr Major Delrin Medical Frigate Leia R3-Y2 Cloud Car Pilot Updated Lobot Ep.VI New Ewok print New Y-wing pilot (with Ep.VI helmet) New A-wing pilot print Imperial Advisor New Mon Calamari print Nien Numb with new headpiece

Winter of the Juniper War, Somewhere in Halos by William, on Flickr That winter was a terrible one. The dead froze an unnatural shade, and provisions were low. We guided many a horse train over the border. Lucky I survived. I don't know what Father would have done had I died. -excerpt from The Juniper War published 635 AE

Lugger "Étalon" by William, on Flickr Honoré Sarrazin commissioned the lugger Ètalon to carry his wares rapidly between ports, at low cost. While she is pierced for four small guns she currently carries a single long 12 as armament. Lugger "Étalon" by William, on Flickr I modeled her after the Parakeet but made her a little stouter and larger so she'd rate as a 3F.

Eltina Wainright by William, on Flickr Rounding out our tour of duty in Eltina was a stop at the local wainwright. He has a contract with the crown to build field howitzer carriages, and in honor of the coronation presented us with the first example free of charge and ahead of schedule. I will to you from our next stop father! Your Son,Jean-Luc Sarrazin Eltina Wainright by William, on Flickr

Eltina Vinyard by William, on Flickr Next on our trip was the new vinyard on the north side of Eltina. The sharp winds here blow away unprotected topsoil, so the vines grow across the ground ad the soil is protected by low stone walls. A most ingenious solution! They presented a bottle of wine for the king and queen. Eltina Vinyard by William, on Flickr

Zeus-Oracle, Eltina by William, on Flickr Father, I am humbled to have been chosen as an emissary of the crown in the colonies. Our first visit was to the shrine and Oracle of Zeus, in Eltina. Here, Zeus blessed our journey to come. Zeus-Oracle, Eltina by William, on Flickr

The Sarge replied to Kolonialbeamter's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
A beautiful vessel! She looks the part of an exotic and swift ship. My only quibble is that it's very forward-heavy on the guns. Perhaps 4-6 smaller guns or carronades on the quarter deck to balance it out. -
