[COR - MCRA] The Queen`s Golden Pleasure Rods
The Sarge replied to Tomsche's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
It's a good thing they're not overripe, because once they go black they never go back. XD -
If they don't enjoy Lego, I'll either will them to the local LUG or make sure they know about Bricklink (or the period equivalent).
-
For that matter, anything we knew about the aquisition of the plans is no longer canon. They need to lay the groundwork again and an anthology movie is a decent way to do it. If they do Mandalore anything I bet it will be a novel or comic book.
-
That's why I specified in a couple years, I don't want it to push out another set but it'll come up for renewal soon anyways. They run the big ones over and over for each generation to be able to buy it in stores. An Endor pilot, new helmet and droid prints and a new canopy would throw a bone to older fans.
-
A fresh Y-wing in a year or two. Requisite items would include: New canopy mold and print - bring it up to date like the TIEs and X-wings. Yavin Pilot with a fresh helmet print (X-wing helmet) Endor Pilot - Grey or Orange flight suit, Y-wing helmet in new print (currently on B-wing pilot I believe) New R5 print New Endor A-wing Printed canopy, the new fins, new helmet print, red paint scheme, and ground cart - like the old sets Rebel Hanger Battle Pack X-wing pilot, Endor Y-wing pilot, B-wing pilot with proper helmet, Technician, and maintenance platform. Fresh helmet prints for all of the pilots. Imperial Hangar Battle Pack Two TIE pilots, one black-uniformed officer, and one technician. Officer would have a rank badge. Some manner of gantry.

Now to post this in the right thread....

Here's the tons burthen of a few ships we have known size values for, approximately. I wanted to show a visual guide and we could figure out Argo ratings from there for a new system. Swift - 2 tons burthen (1 per hull) Parakeet - 34 tons burthen Commerce de Breshaun - 243 tons burthen Obviously we'd need to designate a range for each cargo class - perhaps 1 per 25 tons - and have it no longer be a percentage of a town's trade value, but instead a fixed amount - say 5db per cargo rate up to the maximum trade value if the town. That would make it more profitable to run small ships between small towns and big ones between major cities. Sorry, wrong thread!

I think quality of builds is rapidly improving. That said, I don't think we should have a minimum quality. It's not a colaborative display, it's an online community. While I would hope we can come to a gentleman's agreement to do our best, I also don't think we should limit those with small collections or pocketbooks, who might be brilliant but limited by their pallette. For ships, perhaps we could measure their cargo capacity in tons burthen, using studs instead of feet? This would make it easy to find what class your vessel fits in for cargo.

I think that starting ships where they ended the month before is the most elegant way to handle keeping very small ships in one zone, seizing ships after a declaration of war, and forcing a choice between sending warships as escorts or keeping them on station in the colonies.

Mine was specifically vague on purpose, so "undisclosed" might need to be a category.- 92 replies

Time to ROK with my MOC out! -
More aliens! I think a headpiece could work for the Sullustans, like the Zabrak one, so that Ten Numb would still be able to have a helmet as well - not possible with a new mold. I'd also like to see more Wookie, Rodian, Gungan, Mon Cal, etc. prints, even if they aren't movie or even named characters - we have the molds already, it'd be an easy way to expand alien variety. They could make all the Rebel and Resistance BPs from here on out at least 50% aliens.

So what brand of beer does Poseidon, god of the sea wish to have sacrificed to him to favor our ships?

Thank you! Perhaps that could be the first Oleon contest... -
Thank you! We actually had a (thankfully bloodless) war over a pig here near me, so fighting over a hat wasn't very far fetched! The red flowers I took inspiration for from the poppies legend - that they grow where blood is spilt.

[OL - FB2] The 'Commerce de Breshaun'
The Sarge replied to Kolonialbeamter's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Such a lovely ship! The decorations and trim are wonderful. My only quibble, is that wouldn't the boat normally be stored on beams run across the opening, to free hull space for cargo and ease launching the boat? -

Thanks! Thank you, I have plenty more historical oddities to draw on later. Thank you very much! The cannonball stack is a Brickarms prototype - I recieved a few for my contributions to the Bricksburg display at the last BrickCon. Each layer is separately molded so I can make the stack smaller, partially gone, or have someone holding a single round. -
Perhaps Harriet should be checked for a fever? A fever... for Bieber? Nice work!

Accessory pin and accessory hole are what I'd say. It should be the same for all the flames, feathers, Friends stuff, Clone Trooper gear, helmets, hair etc.
