It was the Age of Sail, ID wasn't even a thought yet! More seriously, great build. I hope he's stocking the best in Oleon - built rifles though!

Zeus Island or Triton's Isle... depending on the artifact. -

Could we ever see a remake of these UCS sets
The Sarge replied to Distorted Vision's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That's a good point actually. If not then, perhaps at the 50th, so 2027? I assume Disney will still be making films.. -
They are all very nice, but the Buzz wings on the K-wing is just brilliant!

I think we'll get a new Falcon UCS set in '17 or '19 winter release, to coincide with Ep.8 or 9. Which one it is, I think will depend on if the Falcon is destroyed in 8. I hope it survives, but I bet that would mean we have to wait for the first wave of Ep.9 sets to get it. In the meantime, I could see Poe's Black Leader T-70 as a UCS set. -
Psst, you only need to bid 25. That's the starting bid - the minimum you put in. You only have to beat it if someone has already met the starting bid.

I just had an idea for uprating ships! Since you are using the same hull presumably (a full rebuild would be very spendy), charge the difference but only give them an increase in guns and crew. Note the new rating with a +1, i.e. 4A+1. Limit it to maybe two steps up. This would make it economical only for captured vessels rather than something done regularly.- 897 replies

I don't see any problem with uprating it. The USF President was built as a 44, and after her capture was uprated to a 50 and then a 60-gun vessel in RN service.- 897 replies

When you redo for the contest scores, could you also adjust for 1st properties? It appears I was charged for both my factory (25db) and residence (5db) when my factory was my first property and thus shouldn't cost anything. There wasn't anywhere on the webform to mark that though. I believe there were a few other people who had the same issue. Thanks!

Thank you everyone! Of course! I'll get a picture as soon as I have decent sunlight again (the Pacific Northwest is terrible for that). And this is the mill not the drying house. We keep the powder wet to prevent explosions! Ww also sacrifice the occasional Corrie to Poseidon.

Thank you! I'd actually built this before you posted your ships, but I thought it was as good an explanation as any. The real reason is that I only have enough 2x4 tiles for this in LBG.

Buying Pirate LEGO - where to buy, advice, tips and questions
The Sarge replied to Mr. Smee's topic in LEGO Pirates
If you are starting from scratch it might be better to use Bricklink to get some figures, accessories and some parts to start your own ship, since there isn't much on the shelves right now.- 502 replies

I'd give you a hand for this build, but it looks like you already had one... Bad puns aside, this looks really good. I think next time I would remove the white bands from the columns and connect the trim at the top. However. .. I approve! -
Very nice! You are really cranking out the vessels. You made it look good without any tumblehome, which is rare indeed. The Zephyr is a snow-rigged vessel.

Very nice model and photography. I approve! -
This whole thing is great. The beehive, the flowers, the tree. I really like the field too, I think making it at an angle really helped the whole thing. I approve!

"Note: Just like ships in the EGS, builders do not have to pay for the license of their first property, but license for the property must be small in size (this excludes forts, which cannot be used as your free property). The builder should still submit the proper webform, but they should check the box that states that this is their first property. No DBs will be deducted." The Land Thread

Thanks! I agree on the wheel, I think next time I make a mill I will go for a larger overshot wheel. I'll keep in mind the position of the cracks as well.

Thanks everyone! I looked to New Orleans architecture for inspiration on this one.

House in Breshaun Powder Mill Both are licensed. -
I just licenced both of my properties. However, there was no place to mark that I was licencing my first property? I wanted to use that on the powder mill so it wouldn't cost me, but there was no box for it.

We have built a powder mill with an undershirt wheel to produce gunpowder here. Making it here will save a goodly amount on shipment costs, and hopefully will allow us to more easily protect the colonies that we have been blessed with. Honoré Sarrazin I wanted to try out Gideon's wall technique. I think I did ok, although I'm not altogether happy with it.
