  1. Guys, don't think Melody is going to look all over internet to gather your feedback.
  2. That's not the way you do it. You wish other people add content to your page - make it so that people would want to contribute.
  3. Money is the reason. Import as many models as possible > become popular > earn your buck from ads. I'm not against sharing stuff I have made by other people. But this seem to be commercial. They didn't ask me if I wish my models added there. I have zero control over something shared widely like that (don't have account there). There's simply no way to change picture, description, parts, URL for instructions and anything else I wish to amend. This could result in negative experience and lack of feedback from people building the model.
  4. Isn't this pneumatic brick supposed to be connected both its ends to single pneumatic valve (top and bottom) to function? It won't work with single connection pneumatic valves.
  5. Correct URL for instructions is available on Rebrickable.
  6. I assume you are speaking about this MOC. Looking at the date it was posted (5 years ago) I doubt there will be instructions as it wasn't that popular in those days like it is now. Plus the guy was 15 years old. Making instruction might be a bit boring at that age. You can still getting in touch or comment on that same MOC pages website or .More pictures available on Brickshelf. From my point of view it should be possible to reverse engineer the model (it is not that complex).
  7. That RC battery gives you less power than normal LEGO battery box filled with non-rechargeable batteries actually. It's benefit - longer running time before your model consume all its charge. Smoke and stuff. It is probably due to short cut. I would suggest disassembling IR receiver to check what went wrong before fixing it. Did you use a switch or was receiver powered directly by RC battery?
  8. Madoca's Baja Trophy Truck.
  9. I agree that newest Creator Expert models are sort of extension of an old Model Team idea. What I believe Technic guys think modern Model Team should look like: example 1 example 2 example 3 These are still brick build, but have something more than just opening hood and doors (not to mention steering).
  10. Minifigure scale models have all of these sometimes, but this doesn't make them Creator or Model Team model.
  11. The main reason helping to distinguish between MT and Creator are functions. Creator models are made for looks, while Model Team have some functions. Like functional steering at least (if we are talking about vechicles).
  12. We had this discussion somewhere in this topic. Some sellers just like to charge for every ml of water they drink while getting your order together... I don't shop in US much, but I found T&C for many BL US shops quite unclear most of the time - you cannot estimate how much extra you are going to pay. Luckily this isn't that common in Europe.
  13. I have exactly same suggestion.TBH, last year the set I got for being runner-up in MB contest has been crushed quite badly. Keeping in mind it was unique, singed box, made it more disappointing. But everything got sorted.
  14. I wouldn't be so sure. *Looks at tires from 42000*
  15. Keeping in mind 42060 is known to be 20EUR set it would be the size of just two 42031.
  16. We need to summon Dokludi then. He is good at building models by the moment we have just prelim pictures.
  17. Then we would have two topics about the same. I like name of this topic. You wouldn't discuss S@H experience, unless you get into issues, which are terrible and irritating most of the time.
  18. Model winning Grand Prize deserves to be selected as such. Congrats to Tamas! Hope to see report from visiting Porsche museum soon!
  19. Who is the first to get controllers in the loop so they control each other until batteries run out? Now that would be the most useless MOC
  20. Great idea! It is time now to crush megablocks or chinese knock-offs.
  21. Issuing NRS (Non-Responding Seller) should help to get sellers attention. As this is a red flag for him. Unless Seller has stating something like he is on vacation, but the store is opened for that time so he will proceed with order after return.
  22. Technic Connectors with axle joints are prone to cracking, sadly. New piece or old, all of them are cracking, sometime with even multiple cracks .
  23. Sorry, like the most of the models in HoF then, isn't it? There's no topic posted by MOC author.
  24. Chassis weight is low now. Would soft axles still hold well once you build the body?
