I think he might mean that the "mouth" opens by the entire head spilling in half, horizontally. Not totally sure that's what he means though.

Thanks! :) I was trying to make the rest of the MOC seem larger by comparison... but you're right, it is a bit too small. I was having trouble bulking it up without losing the Rahkshi-head shape.

I think it's the fact that Valve games and HF lines tend to include generic stereotypical concepts and tropes for scifi, etc. and they just look similar because they're being based off of the same original ideas.

Cool build. Awesomely spindly while still appearing substantial and not overly fragile. And it's nice to see you MOCing again!

Doesn't quite remind me of Nex due to the color scheme change, and it's hard to see the MOC because of how zoomed-out the picture is, but from what I can see it looks like a decent XL Hero build.

I can't for the life of me remember any Bionicle music, except maybe parts of the Mask of Light theme, so I'm not really one to talk... but yeah, HF's music hasn't been any better (or as good, I suppose).

While I agree with some of the negative points presented for Bionicle, I don't think them to be as severe as you perhaps see them to be. They're definitely still problems though. :P And I also agree with the positives for HF. In the end, Bionicle is still my favorite theme, but I am by no means opposed to Hero Factory, which is not far behind. They were biomechanical. Most species in the GSR were about 85% mechanical and 15% organic, and the original species (from Spherus Magna) were something like 90% organic and 10% mechanical, due to implants, if I remember correctly.

Well yeah... there were literally two people doing all of the voices for the Mahri video. (I loved it anyway.) :PAfter watching the full episode, the voice acting is still the part I'm most frustrated with, though it isn't as bad as I'd expected from the five-minute one. Bulk... no. It really just doesn't feel like Bulk, I suppose- plus it sounds a lot like Rocka, Stormer, and Furno. I think overall the voice actors for Rocka and Breez were the most consistently decent, while some lines from a few of the others showing energy, but for the most part they seemed a little emotionless as others have mentioned. I don't mind Surge being Australian, it's just that his lines generally didn't feel energetic to me. Some funny lines, intentional and not... "MY LEGS! MY LE- oh wait, just the machine's legs." I like how immediately after Breez gets entirely swarmed Evo is just like "are you okay?" Also the "final battle" with the Mother thing was hilarious just for how each of their attempts failed miserably. Rocka will save youuu- oh. Nope. Consistency problem- didn't Breez originally have to speak in the language of the creature to talk to it, instead of just speaking normally and having it understand? I agree about the gun thing... eh. Oh, and one more thing: Anyone else notice this? XD

Yeah, the voice acting really seems like the weak point of the whole thing. The animation itself is nice though. To clarify, I don't really mind the fact that the voices have changed, just the fact that (from the minimovie at least) the audio in general seems... poorly done. I don't know.
