  1. And now for something completely different... You're used to seeing reviews, set news and great MOCs on EB's frontpage and albeit it isn't made entirely out of LEGO bricks, I guess you could call droomangroup's LEGO room an amazing MOC as well. Read all about how a spare bedroom was turned into an eye-catching LEGO workspace.
  2. That's the new mold for those fences. TLG doesn't distinguish between them, so when they run out of stock of the fences they originally used in the Pet Shop, they start using the new mold with four studs on top.
  3. As seems to be the case every time this thread is resurrected, it turns into a repetition of people's opinions on whether TLG should make military sets or not, whether they're hypocrites for making a particular set that includes violence and whether that violence falls under their definition of "modern day violence/war". The discussion in this thread does not seem to progress any further and a lot of posts only seems to cause arguments. We'll be keeping a close eye on this thread and if this arguing doesn't stop immediately, we'll be forced to lock it. Thank you all.
  4. Eurobricks Reviewers Academy student Redhead1982 has completed her review of the new Friends set 41094 Heartlake Lighthouse. Read the full review in the Town forum.

    Yellow cabrio

    Thanks.
  6. Eurobricks member snaillad was inspired by Miami's South Beach Art Deco architecture when he built his latest MOC: The Ocean Restaurant. Head over to the Town forum for more pictures and a view of the wonderfully detailed interior.
  7. Please don't create pointless topics like this.
  8. Everyone's entitled to their opinion and I don't think ScotNick got "upset" about the MOC. You can voice your own opinion, but saying you don't agree with him doesn't stimulate discussion. Moreover, the way you did it is totally uncalled for and will not be accepted here on Eurobricks. Please refrain from mini-modding. If you have an issue with another member, please use the Report button that's available on every post and let a moderator deal with it. Thanks. Of course everyone's entitled to their opinion, but I really don't understand why you have to reply to every post from someone who doesn't agree with you only to say you don't agree with them. What do you hope to achieve besides start an argument (which happens a lot around you, as I'm sure you recall). If it's not worth your time, take your own advice and don't reply.
  9. 75900 - 75904 are Scooby Doo sets and I expect that 75905 - 75907 are reserved for more sets in this theme. Someone floated the theory that the LaFerrari was a last-minute addition to the line and therefore got the 75899 set number, because 75915 - 75920 are used for the Jurassic World sets.
  10. I received mine yesterday as well. Thanks again Mike.
  11. Please stick to discussing the LEGO Speed Champions line in this thread. There are dedicated fora for discussing car news. Thanks.
  12. Thanks so much again for doing this every year Mike. I hope my kitties arrive safely.
  13. I fully agree with this. People call themselves AFOLs for different reasons and that's perfectly fine. Thanks to the topic starter for taking the criticism so well. Now let's get back on topic again. Thanks everyone.
  14. I'd like to encourage you both to write a full review for EB. Of course, if you're interested in reviewing, I can also recommend joining the Reviewers Academy, but that's no requirement to post reviews on EB.

    Jutlandia

Konajra likes to build ships, ... big ships. His latest masterpiece is the 3.25 m (!) long hospital ship Jutlandia. Check out more pictures in the Special Themes forum.
  16. Welcome to EB. Have a look at this tutorial.
  17. Please review our Site Guidelines on selling on Eurobricks. Thanks.
  18. As much as I like your project, I'm going to have to ask you to stop using EB for promoting your project by constantly bumping this thread. As you can read in the Site Guidelines, you're allowed to present a LEGO Ideas project as a regular MOC thread (which you've done) and provide a single link to the project page. From there on, the discussion should focus on the MOC. Thanks for your understanding.
  19. Please note that EB is not an image host. You're given a little bit of upload space, which is intended for hosting your profile picture on the EB servers. For other images, please use a dedicated image host (such as flickr). See the pinned thread in this forum or the EB FAQ for more information on how to include pictures in your posts.
  20. We have made the decision to stick every individual Ideas sets into the appropriate theme forum depending on the subject matter and/or license. As such the Ideas "theme" has no permanent home in any of the theme forums. I'm going to have to direct you to what has become the general discussion thread about the LEGO Ideas "process" in the Embassy forum. I'm afraid that simply moving your post to this thread will cause confusion, so feel to post your opinion again in the thread that Super Goblin linked to. I'm sorry that I have to lock another thread, but we're trying to avoid having multiple threads discussing the same issue. Thanks (again).
  21. The maximum size for embedded pictures is 1,024 x 768 pixels (see the Site Guidelines), but 800 x 600 should be sufficient for most situations.
  22. There are dedicated threads to discuss the two newly announced LEGO Ideas sets in the Licensed themes forum. Please continue the discussion there. Thanks.
  23. The results of the second 2014 LEGO Ideas review round have been announced. Discuss the upcoming Wall-E and Doctor Who Ideas sets in the Licensed Themes forum.
  24. While the discussion about 3D printing is interesting, it's not really a subject that should be discussed in this thread. See these threads for more information about the subject.
  25. I'm under the impression that TLG is not particularly bothered by the fact that instructions for decade-old models are available for free online as long as it increases interest in their product. I don't see an issue at all with a MOC (or a Mod) based on a classic LEGO set. Feel free to post your creation in the appropriate forum.
