  1. Every themed forum right now think the countdown is something for them... Pretty unlikely they are all right. :)
  2. Yes, that, and the likelihood of getting any reaction out of the government agencies that police such matters. You can report all you want, anybody can call the police. But getting them to respond to a suspected break-in three blocks away from you is another thing entirely. It's a noble idea, but a Facebook page isn't going to accomplish 1% of what the legal team for TLG can.
  3. Not sure how anything is "official" if you don't actually work for LEGO. Generally, the only ones who can claim copyright and trademark protection (and violation) is the actual holder of those copyrights and trademarks. It's like reporting violations to YouTube. If your not the artist or designated legal representation thereof, you can report until your fingers bleed and they won't do a thing.
  4. You want the price higher? PR was already more than the standard...
  5. Before you put the cab on, I was thinking what a great Star Wars model you had started. :) Except that thing has 10 wheels.
  6. Tan? My only guess is that they heard the complaints about how most Arch sets seem to be predominantly monochromatic. So we get this.
  7. Did this year's boxes have the Disney logo on them? I don't even remember.
  8. Odd that there appears to be zero power functions in the whole wave, though. At least it ought to keep the prices in check a bit. For irispen, you want construction? City looks to practically be getting an entire sub-line of construction sets next year.
  9. If the ARC-170 has a Clone Pilot, why are they using a Rebel Pilot as a stand-in? There's dozens of clones they could have used... I'm the least nitpicky SW guy, and even I find that weird. AAT is 16 studs wide and @ 18 long... 8 or 9 bricks tall. That is pretty dinky. Shame. JJB looks like he's getting a new print. Yay? Should be two of those clear interceptor wings, in the Skyhopper, one on each side. Really don't get what's going on with the TIE-Advanced Prototype. 10 or 12 studs long? That big dish on front though... Trans-smoke? Printed? Really need to get that right, or it's going to look terrible. AT-DP is looking better than I thought. It's moved up to a maybe. :) Good to know that Sabine is coming, it was odd she wasn't included in the first pair of Rebels sets. Horrible placeholder, though. lol Last question: Ventress is tearing up Anakin's Starfighter... Visible damage in a LEGO image? Isn't that unheard of?
  10. Very meh about that Lincoln Memorial, but the Flatiron Building more than makes up for it. Not what I was expecting, and that's a good thing. I do wish they'd branch out geographically, though. How many NYC buildings is that now? Five? That's almost 25% of the line.
  11. I was just about to link the same pictures at a German online store, but those are much clearer. Thanks.
  12. Small vehicle, indeed! You can't get much more basic than that.
  13. lol at the BTTF future license plate. :) Should have used the OUTATIME plate.
  14. I'm sorry, but this just struck me as just a ridiculous statement...
  15. Great job, but probably too politically charged for TLG to touch.
  16. ...and frankly, how can anyone complain about the architectural appeal of something that's purely hypothetical at this point?
  17. Not sure, but I think I've got over half of them now. Picked up both pullbacks and the snowmobile the other day. Yup. 4 to go. 22, 28, 29 and 30
  18. Some of the conjecture was a setup like the Pet Shop modular, so apartments could be on one side and the businesses on the other. ...and Sherlock Holmes is long before the rest of the modulars' time period.
  19. Not yet... I think he's going to do that tail structure yet. Does look good, though.
  20. What the heck is with TLG and the artificial scarcity of high demand models this year? I mean they don't profit if some guy on eBay sells one at 200% of retail...
  21. Just wait. The best part of the whole set (to me) is the mixer itself and how clever the folding part is.
  22. In a Technic project I'm working on, I'm using a sliding worm gear to lift an assembly. It's not that hard. Transferring the rotation from the central shaft out to the vehicle, OTOH... Actually, I think a worm gear with friction would be more challenging/problematic.
