I'm so glad the contest was extended. I've had a couple weeks from hell and had to quit my brand new job due to mistreatment by my bosses, and it got in the way of building anything. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Yeah I feel that. Dannylonglegs has no similarity to my actual name, which is Patrice, but I've grown to identify with it I remember the "Construction Man" ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Little known fact, but when I first joined I was "dannylonglegs" But I changed it to the obviously, drastically superior "Dannylonglegs" after a few months. That was the biggest identity change I've had in my life. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

This is SUUUUUCH a mood. Bob I loved this game even though I thought it was hard to win at first. You continue to be one of my favorite Hosts and, while the game did more or less end in a Draw, it was still thoroughly entertaining. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Before I forget, following the tradition I started in my very first Mafia game, hosted by Bob no less, I stated my night actions in poem form: Night One: "True to form and true to mission I missed this by my own admission The thrill of lying, analyzing Winning the war through attrition I didn't forget you loved my quirk And while I wear a jaunty smirk I shall confess, granted success Who it is I plan to merc A clever townie suits me ill One willing to die upon her hill I'll grant that wish and feed the fish It's Jane who I intend to kill." Night Two: "Although this night I must sit out My sword, though sheathed, I'll swing about The blade, my tongue, though stayed is swung And I'll blather with you for clout Despite our start being rocky And at risk of sounding too cocky I think we did well, tho time will sure tell And we'll run with this puck like in hockey My biggest concern I'll reveal Is that our team just lost a wheel That Remy was scum, and playing it dumb A Traitor just dealt a raw deal Altho if that do be the case When a heel is revealed as his face Bart's in the clear, and can hold my beer As Louisa is lynched in his place" Night Three: "Today was not a victory In fact it's rather sad to see My mate pass on, and with him gone To plan for my next trickery In spite of the hand we were dealt And if I am truly care felt I'll persevere, and shift up a gear Under heat the town block will melt. I now know the blocker and Jailkeep The watcher who eyes us as we sleep I'll infiltrate, where they congregate And send them all off to the deep It'll still be an uphill battle But I can't row without a paddle I need a new crew. Well I constantly talked about my failed mafia game in the scumthread and my conversion in Darkdragon's Friends Mafia, so... and I appreciate it but we both knew I'd be gone sooner than later. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

So at first I was quite upset by how seemingly underpowered our scum team was. 2 scum and I could only kill everyother day. I was convinced there was a second scum team in fact. Or a joiner or some neutral faction. When I found out that Barty had a one-shot recruit ability I was a bit less convinced, but I tried to maintain the mindset that there were actually other scum out there for me to find. At first we blocked Henry because he had been leading the lynch on Barty. We figured if he was the Vig, tracker, or investigator he would be most likely to target Barty. His histrionic "relief" that he wasn't targeted for the kill was interpretted by myself as him acknowledging he'd been blocked, so we blocked him again under the impression that he had a night action. When the "relief" continued tho we immediately knew he was PGO. Sorry fam but we guessed ur role before Patrick was in the fold. I killed Jane because she seemed logical but not vocal enough to draw attention from a protector or watcher. Had the choice been viable I would have killed the watcher before converting Patrick, but I knew time was of the essence. And I'm glad I sacrificed myself to bring Patrick over to our side. I knew he'd be watched but it was worth it. I figured with him backing me up I might even survive the subsequent day... but we quickly realized bussing me was far more prudent. I tried spouting babble about conversions to make things even more confusing. For the town when my role was revealed. A touch of WIFOM which no one ever called back to ~Insectoid Aristocrat.

Like Def this was also my first game in like 2 years. I've been on Hiatus from Lego since my brother, who had an account here himself, died. That coupled with college stress, transitioning, and the death of my Step Father, I've had my hands full with personal stuff. Also I'll admit I was pretty embarrassed about how poorly I managed hosting my own first game. But I'm back! Damn this was fun! I really missed this. More coming, but I just gotta say, GREAT job Patrick. You make me so proud! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

So I definitely went on one Hiatus too many and missed out on a lot of the end half of this game, but I do want to chime in and say thank you for all the fun times and friends I made along the way. I lament that I never established myself as a QM as I originally intended, and never got to turn Sylph Solanum into the antagonist of a Quest series as was always planned. Ah well. I'm glad nonetheless to have played with you all! I have so many great memories and had such great fun! Extra thanks to @Kintobor, @Palathadric and @Endgame for being such fun playing partners, and of course, to @Sandy for hosting this wonderful experience. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Omigosh! Aaaah! That's marvelous! I love it! What a beautiful display! That's totally along the lines of what I was thinking. Elves is similarly meaningful to me because it launched around the time I was coming to terms with accepting myself as a queer woman and my now-girlfriend bought me one of the sets before we started dating. I keep Rosalyn's dragon, Sapphire, which she got me, by my bed now because of her ~Insectoid Aristocrat

My father mentors a first robotics team and he's been trying to get them to implement Swerve drive. This could make an omnidirectional robot if you programmed it properly. The solution you went for however is elegant and looks so amazing! I can't wait to see the end product! Wonderful work! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Omg! I'd love to see them. I've wondered about custom Friends/Elves figures before. Is it possible to remove/replace their arms as is the case with minifigures? my plans are to eventually host an "Elves" themed mafia game and if I could make a pure-black, or mostly black Minidoll that would be perfect. edit: oh wait I actually did remove their arms once when I was younger so I could make a multi-armed Insectoid Friend ~Insectoid Aristocrat

I gotta say I'm really sad to see the Elves theme go. It's one of my all time favorite Lego Themes, honestly. Even though I prefer minifigures, the Minidolls have their own merits and they work better for this theme than minifigures would have. What I especially love about the Elves theme is the unique and cohesive world they created. The Elves had architectural quirks that distinguished their buildings from those of other themes, and so did the Goblins. Each prt of Elvendale seemed to have its own atmosphere. And the characters were all well thought out and decently fleshed out. It's probably the first time I've felt this much love for a theme since I was a kid, or Atlantis. I loved the unique colour schemes and building styles from this theme. The designers clearly had fun. I loved that all the villains had unique rock colours. Light lavender for Ragana, light lime green for Cronan and the Goblins, and light aqua for Nocturna. Really sold the faerie antagonist feeling. It's to the point that I plan to Bricklink some of the sets I missed now that I know there won't be more. and I'll certainly plan to make a large Elves MOC at some point. the last wave especially hit all my buttons: shapeshifting evil Bat-themed witch? A return of Teal? Yes please. the theme overall made me super nostalgic for when I was young and my best friend and I used to look for fairies in the unmowed lot behind my house. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

For the sake of the Story I'm working on... How connected are these "Factions" to the New Republic? Like Black Sun is a Criminal Gang... are the planets they control still part of the republic... like... austensibly? Or are they like... gangland? And the Companies like the Correllian Company and the Mining Company... they're companies that exist within the republic? Or are they outright eschewing Republic Control?... and the Confederacy and Remnant... is it safe to assume they're Seperatists who have cut ties with the Republic/were never incorporated? Or are they working within the Republics laws? ~Insectoid Aristocrat

That they did! Almost no one ever notices that my name is an homage to a character from the theme, as the theme was my absolute favorite growing up. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
