  1. According to my Brickstore building inventory, approximately 24k. There's about 6-8k extra tied up in sets I don't use for building (ex. UCS Millennium Falcon).
  2. Need to shed some shelf space, so I'm selling cheaply: 2814 Lamborhini Gallardo Polizia - 80 EUR 4841 Hogwarts Express - 115 EUR Both boxes have traces of price stickers, but are otherwise intact. 3. Nice ship, love the greebling and NPU track part.
  4. While I'm reasonably happy with the way the site is currently, a major redesign won't hurt. I hope. It'd be great if the devs could enhance the feedback page... We could have a character-limit box for our opinion, and the added expandable report where you could rate communication, willingness to resolve problems, etc.
  5. I liked the game and I think we need some decent microscale spaceships out of SW franchise...
  6. Not me personally, but my mother's coworker threw out a whole box of them, because her kids stopped playing with them...
  7. Beautiful Now, the only thing I need is money
  8. Agreed, I love the engines
  9. Looking forward to more pics! I'm also a mech fan, and building a mech bay/facility has been my wish for a long time.
  10. Finally came home, sorted and counted pieces... Let's review: This was my first PaB trip. First I visited Riem Arcaden in Munchen, where I filled up two large cups. I filled one by stacking 1x1/2 bricks and plates around the edge in 16 or 17 bricks high stacks, filled the middle with foliage, etc. The second cup was simply jammed full of 1x1 and 1x2 tiles and round plates. The third cup was filled in Koln. Items of interest: -dark purple and pink tiles -bright green 6x12 plates -round plates with arms -2x2 white jumpers -SNOT foursided brick -cheese slopes -1x8 blue tiles -2x2 round pillar bricks -1x1 round LBG tiles! -trans clear bricks The odd items in small quantities are stuff that didn't particularly interest me, but I jammed it in when I had some space free at the top (windows, fence, mudguards...) 3 cups = 48 EUR, plus an employee gave me a LEGO keychain and a Chima poster. The total amount of parts = 4048 (obviously mainly achieved because of 1x1 and 1x2 parts) Average paid per part = 0,113 EUR BL calculated average is 325 EUR. Average calculated = 0,803 EUR Overall, I'm extremely happy with my first PaB Trip The employees were great and in Koln one reminded me to fill the lid when I forgot it.
  11. See above Till a year ago, I had a collection of about 13k pieces - enough for a decent MOC, but my problem was, that I had pieces from random themes, so I always had problems while building something that required, say, 15 pieces of the same color. Since then, I've started doing BL orders with - relatively - large piece counts, plus I'm adding the pieces I brought from PaB wall. I have a drawer system + some tubs and I sort mostly by piece, at least for small parts. As I order a larger quantity of some tile, plate, bracket... I resort the new pieces to a new drawer, separate from differently colored parts. The problem is, that I'm constantly running out of drawers, merging them, etc. I suspect it's gonna work up to about 30k, but then I'll have to do a major redesing of my sorting I also have a medium sized bin for scrapped ideas, parts I rejected in the building process and haven't sorted them back yet plus parts from BL orders that I haven't decided where will they go. It serves as my go-to bin for ideas and creativity bucket.
  12. While I have (as everyone) some mixed feelings about the hood, the set is still gorgeous. I'll be picking up one as soon as my credit card fill up a bit again How long are CUSOO models usually available? I might pick one up for my GF, but I'd hate to miss.
  13. Details when I'm done with counting, but I got 500+ 1x1 round tiles in LBG, a load of purple and pink and trans light blue 1x2 tiles, foliage, olive green slopes and trans clear 1x2 bricks in Munchen - Riem store. A great haul for my first PaB trip!
  14. Nice, clean lines, combined with asymmetrical shape. The weapons are built great!
  15. Thanks for the answer I've checked Brickbuildr and TheLEGOwall.com, but both are rather unupdated for European stores. I'll try visiting both, but it'll depend on the time spent in the city, because we're actually going towards Netherlands.
  16. Since this is THE topic for PAB, I'll refrain form making another one: In a few days I'll have the chance to visit LEGO store in Munchen and MAYBE in Koln. Can any local member recommend any of the two Munchen stores based on PAB choice, because I'll probably only be able to visit one of them? Also, any rare colors/parts there these days I could count on?
  17. I don't know if I'm dreading this or looking forward to it
  18. Amazing! So many details and some great alternate piece usage
  19. IMO, Dan Brown's books can be quite enjoyable, but are mostly one-time-read, because they soon start to follow the classic conspiracy theory principles... But at least the books are better than movies Anyway, I've just received a hardback copy of newly released Tolkien's Fall of Arthur that I hope to read after I'm back from visiting Netherlands. If I have time inbetween sorting bricks that I hope to haul back home from Munchen's LEGO store
  20. Beautiful, the cliff is great!
  21. In that case I hope I have the chance to eat some in the next week when I'm visiting Netherlands
  22. Just found out I'll be visiting Vienna in November, so hopefully I'll be able to swing by LEGO store then I'm counting on France to get the next EU store...
  23. Yes, that's a boiler Dunno why, maybe it's making tea for martians Yup, I realized later on that I bungled up the ground clearance... I'm in the process of redesigning, so I hope the next one turns out better.
  24. As always, ideas come best when you know you should be building something else Red Rover vehicle was built for the purpose of exploring nearby planets. It features communications antenna, a multitude of various senors and a sturdy structure for navigating rough terrain. C&Cs welcome
  25. I've thought of using some more manual controls, but I was limited to a single lever on his right side, because I didn't have any 3L bars or brown/DBG levers But I'm still happy with the overall look, though I wish I had more pearl gold pieces. This one has used all of them from my collection
