  1. I was thinking of doing a combination of dark brown/ dark red combination, and adding two minifigs for actors, but my order of dark brown bricks was delayed, so I was forced to work with the stock I have. Glad you like it!
  2. Today, I've picked up some CMF bags and among them I found the Sad Clown, though I imagine him more like a mime. Anyway, an idea popped into my head and I created this 8x8 Theatre Vignette. C&C welcome!
  3. Just got a couple of 70503 Golden Dragons.
  4. Nice MOC, I like the way you've made sill and jambs on the front door. BUt what exactly are the bricks used for walls? I just can't recall a brick with such shape/pattern, unless it's log brick rotated by 90 degrees.
  5. For TFOLs and AFOLs, the phrase ''happy like a kid in a toy store'' usually takes on a whole new level of meaning
  6. Since I've been spending quite some money on my BL orders, I'm thankful for my summer job that'll make it possible to buy this at the end of summer
  7. SVGs would probably be better, but I think it'd take too much time to convert scans/CGIs to vector graphics, if it's even possible without manually adjusting everything...
  8. I'd put in some trans light blue plates, perhaps just behind the 1x1 trans clear stacks, but still, it's a stunning MOC, I especially love how you made those cliffs/rock wall.
  9. So, a new wannabe train fan here. I don't have any rolling stock yet, but I have a chance to acquire 9V 4563 from a friend at a very reasonable price. I've read a few help topics here in the forum and I have some ideas about all the train system, but just for the clarification... will I miss out on anything important if I decide to go the path of 9V and not PF, at least in the beginning?
  10. While it's good they're promoting science projects, I hope they redesign this somewhat, because it looks a bit ugly. Also, LHC and ATLAS aren't as widely known as Mars Exploration projects and such, I think.
  11. While I think it's a bit too bulky, it's still a great ship. I love how all the angles flow together nicely.
  12. I believe there's already a topic somewhere in the forum...
  13. I've started going to concerts about two years ago... I've been to a concert of ex-yugo rock band Parni valjak (Steamroller), Brit Floyd (UK tribute to Pink Floyd) and Slash (+ Myles Kennedy). In July I'm going to 2Cellos concert and Alter Bridge in November. And I really, really wish to see The Rolling Stones and ACDC at least once in my lifetime.
  14. While I'm rather indifferent to the Superheroes sets, these are great. You've managed to capture the look of every villain or superhero in their car My favourites are BatMiniMobile and Joker's car.
  15. One of the few trailers that had me chuckling all the way through. Tje 1980-something space guy with cracked helmet is great We'll obviously see some nice references for AFOLs.
  16. Received a package form fellow EB member, consequently built Sith Infiltrator and parted Mines of Moria into my MOC collection.
  17. Eh, I'll swap your release dates with our prices anytime
  18. Wow, great MOC. I like the bulky mecha/steampunk design.
  19. I'd suggest you put some cheese slopes and curved slopes on the edge, so that the tan sand isn't raised, but is a bit lower than the edge. Otherwise, a nice little MOC
  20. No problem... I've never thought about this, but when you look at the design from this perspective, it's obvious that LEGO's former design of light sensor was way better for precision sensing like in your project. But probably they wanted the sensors to be easily identifiable, so they redesigned the front panel. Also, here's a comparison of HiTechnic and LEGO colour sensors with their advantages and disadvantages: http://www.philohome.com/colcomp/cc.htm
  21. Planned my trip to Denmark to include at least Munchen and Berlin LEGO stores Also, washed some tiles and done some LDD work.
  22. According to this: http://botbench.com/blog/2011/09/16/exposed-lego-colour-sensor/ , the bottom indentation is just a fake, so you only have RGB LED and photo-detector cell.
  23. You could check BookDepository: http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/ Payment by PayPal, free worldwide shipping. I'm not sure if they have it due to your comment on release date, but I figure it's worth a shot.
  24. While I'd really love to see the Portal set, this Rover looks really nice. If it's priced reasonably, I might pick one up.
