  1. Robert8 nicely started this wishlist topic back in October. All wishlists should go there, just so people don't get confused about what's confirmed information and what's pure speculation. Thanks. PS don't forget that the series will include Pixar properties as well when crafting a wishlist
  2. You would certainly never be banned for such a thing! That topic merely belonged in the Dream LEGO Licenses thread, so I merged it into that one. Never fear for posting something you want to discuss. If it belongs somewhere else, I'll put it there. I'm always happy to answer questions by PM as well.
  3. Since this is indeed a 'Dream LEGO License,' I will merge it shortly into the Dream LEGO Licenses thread. ………aaand done.
  4. No design hires have to be given some project to work on that doesn't matter much, don't they? I have good information from a reputable (private) source that there will indeed be 18 minifigures in this series. I don't want this topic to devolve into another 'real v fake' debate, so I can pretty much assure you that even if that picture is fake, it makes no difference.
  5. As already explained, though, the Simpsons short legs only have two injections. There was even a picture out there at one point showing the piece before the middle yellow layer had been added. Triple molding thus sounds a bit misleading since at this point the 'boot' and 'hip' portion of the short legs will always have to be the same color.Someday LEGO will probably be able to do rainbow legs made out of ten layers of plastic, but they're not there yet.
  6. I thought they had gone in .50 increments before? A couple series were 2.50 and a couple were 3.50? Or maybe I'm remembering things wrong.
  7. It gives me no pleasure to dig up a post after the conversation has thankfully moved on, but I must when something is really out of line. NO NAME CALLING in any thread, at any time, ever. And ^this is mini-modding. If anyone ever thinks anything is out of line, use the report button, do not comment on it.
  8. People can say what website they've found them on. Certainly no deeplinked images, and I guess we're against links, but go ahead and openly tell folks where to find the pictures. Nobody's going to get banned. All the hinting just frustrates people who want to join in on the discussion.
  9. Disney cartoon films, including some of the classics, is absolutely what we'll get (plus Pixar and classic non-film Disney characters). 'Kids these days' know what their parents show them, and I'm sure parents still show their children these films. I'm sure a lot of us posting here (myself included) weren't even alive when a lot of the Disney classics came out, and yet here we are having watched them countless times. Kids have seen things that came out before their time, not just crappy modern television. Just walk into a Disney store and you'll see lots of merchandise surrounding Disney's classics.
  10. Well it's not a helmet piece, it's just a print on a red head. So, the hair still goes on top, but I wouldn't call that 'incorporated' exactly.
  11. If those new pictures aren't the nail in the coffin, I don't know what could be.
  12. Thought I might helpfully point out that the actual name of 'the chamber' is 'The Isolation Chamber.' Carry on.
  13. I think Krusty does the water things. At least, he has two abilities not shared by any other currently available character according to this chart posted by Brickset.
  14. One springs to mind, actually: But that's really a special case, and it only accommodates very flat headgear, which there aren't many of. When it comes to minifigures having special molded humanoid heads, I think it's unlikely we'll see separable hair. But anything is possible, I guess.
  15. Nice review Bob! I agree with you that the bike looks a bit bulky and clumsy. The transformation with the inside of the wheels turning up strikes me as counterintuitive too, but it looks kind of cool and it's all fiction, so who cares. The minifigs are superb, and the set makes a great parts pack, so it's really a winner even if the main model isn't great. Loved your comment about Invizable's alt-face, by the way.
  16. Are those US prices official or just guesses based on the Euro prices? If the latter, I think they're each ten dollars to high. If I remember correctly, the early amazon.fr Euro prices often skew high anyway, and US prices are never (or really, really rarely) numerically higher than Euro ones.
  17. It's the First Order snowspeeder with a First Order snowtrooper. Not the most interesting of subjects if I do say so myself.
  18. Chaps, for pure movie talk please take it to Culture & Multimedia. Thanks.
  19. As I said before, due to the lack of neck printing I don't think we'll be seeing these in sets. Nurse Joker makes sense as a promo polybag figure, and I guess the Batman one has to be also due to his wings.
  20. If these are '100% Real LEGO' as the listing says, why do they have no marks on their necks? The only LEGO minifigs that have no marks on their necks come out of the Chinese factory. That would mean these minifigs would come in a Collectible Minifig series (which they obviously don't), a promotional polybag, or some other type of gear like a book or DVD. Maybe these will be promo minifigs. Regardless, this listing proves to me that they won't be in sets. That Nurse Joker torso also looks remarkably bad for an official print.
  21. Yes, precisely what's in the first post of this topic is all we know.
  22. What now? LEGO isn't doing bling bags for this line. The part about bling bags in the press release is about Mattel.
  23. Given that Ghostbusters is already in Dimensions, I find it unlikely, especially since we don't even know that the new Ghostbusters will be supported with a full line of sets. It might just get a couple sets, or even a single one. I believe the next LEGO game is rumored to be a new Star Wars one.
  24. Yes, pure speculation does not belong in this thread. Unless you have actually heard there's going to be a set with Ghost Rider, it belongs in the Speculation thread that Coca-Cola posted.
  25. This discussion has turned a sour direction. To my mind, Sven F asked a simple and straight-forward question the first time about yellow heads. The answers he got, though, were not very pleasant. For those involved - please drop the discussion over his choice of language now.
