    Sorry for any confusion - I did simply mean that finished pictures exist internally, which should be no surprise given that this series releases in a few months. Once finished pictures exist, I shouldn't think it would be too long before someone gets them somehow and puts them on the internet.

    Discussion of the film belongs in Culture & Multimedia. Disliking the look of the movie, predicting how badly it will do - those things aren't really related to the LEGO sets themselves. There can be great sets from sub-par films (PoP, Lone Ranger, etc.) and subpar sets from good films (Jurassic World, IMO). So please, let's just keep this to the sets.

    Just a note on the moderation (or lack thereof) in this topic: I have been watching it closely, and noticed all the jokes, speculation, side discussion, etc. My decision was to leave all that stuff and let it roll. Plenty of jolly good fun is being had here, and that's great. The fact of the matter is that there isn't too much 'news' on this line right now. I'm sure sometime soon images will burst forth onto the internet, since final unwatermarked images do exist, and at that time I may try to keep the discussion more focused. As for now, carry on.

    Though Speed Champions is, in a way, Licensed, we put it in the Town forum since it is more relevant to Town/car-building enthusiasts. I will move this topic there shortly.

    I don't think LEGO 'waits to see how films do.' Products launch as tie-ins to current films, or they don't. I guess it's slightly possible since this is a planned trilogy, and really with the same creative team as the final four HP films, I can't see how this will be bad. Either way, I would so love more HP LEGO, though my wallet certainly would not.

    That new trailer was so so much better than the previous one, but it can't really undo the damage. The previous trailer was such a complete misdirection for what they should've showed, what with Batman and Superman (and Wonder Woman) teaming up in a trailer for a film called Batman V Superman. So even though this new trailer was good, the movie still seems like it will be a mess.

    How did anybody jump to the conclusion that Freeze is a Toy Fair exclusive? Just because he was included in the press kit? No way. He's clearly designed to be a polybag giveaway to go with the new Batcave. People read waaayyyy too much into things around here… but I guess that comes with the rampant fan territory

    At this price point, they should've gone with the interior the way that the terrible-looking $90 Hoth set tried to but couldn't accomplish at its price point. Like everybody is saying, there's just nothing special about this. Sure, a kid could get a lot of play and fun out of it (if the kid has parents wanting to drop 250 on a big Hoth set, which I guess a lot of kids do), but…… this is Assualt on Hoth and it only contains TWO Imperials?? Really? Two? You could see in the designer video that the graphic designer guy was even struggling to hype up the minifigures because so so many of them are not new. Plus, did we really need that many Rebels to only have two Snowtroopers? Make this a real assault and put at least four Snowtroopers and Darth Vader in there for good measure, why not… Plus, Leia. Really, WTF LEGO.

    Just so it's very clear what I'm addressing - NONE OF THIS BELONGS HERE! Let's please discuss the sets and when Toy Fair comes, discuss the pictures, but not start speculating 'what will be shown' ahead of time. That's useless talk.

    Speculation and discussion of TV shows or any other non-rumored characters DOES NOT BELONG HERE! Also a set being rumored DOES NOT MEAN you can just start listing everything you'd like to see. That's not what this thread is for. Do that, and it becomes a nightmare for anyone to follow. Thanks.

    HEY EVERYONE - when somebody comes along and is obviously tolling, IGNORE IT. You can use the report button, or just ignore it and I will notice. There are always people who want to be big players and make up information, but especially when it's so obvious, it's easy to spot and ignore. Trolls can't survive if ignored. Thanks!

    Hinckley's comment was general. He likes to make 'em big and bold because, well, people see them that way. I could start doing the same. If you're discussing confirmed upcoming stuff, you're all good. It's all the side stuff about characters' kill counts and the plausibility of getting characters that DOES NOT belong here. That's called SPECULATION.

    Oh god, that's ridiculously… bad? Idk, it looks like a mini-facade of the Castle. This isn't the CMF D2C, is it? It can't be. It mustn't be. Why the heck would LEGO make the castle in this way and not make a properly build and sized castle? I'm one for having cheap sets, but not when they're weird mini versions of things. Also, gotta laugh at how huge the brick-built characters are in relation to the 'humans.'

    That Beast is from the Disney Princess line Belle's Castle, not the minifigure line.

    I know there is a topic already in existence on this very thing. Your spreadsheet is very cool, but for the sake of not being redundant I would like to keep this discussion together so that people can see what has already been said in the past. It will take a little digging, though.

    Spider-Man making a quick surf-board out of his webbing in order to jetski actually does seem like something he would do on the USM show, even if that's never happened.

    These sets sounded sooo much better in the descriptions than they look in real life. The bridge had such potential - but they've overdone it with the run-down feel to the point that it looks like a jumbly mess. Log-profile bricks, masonry bricks, and side-facing studs all mixed together? Looks horrible! The color scheme is fine, and the size of it is good, but they really went too far. The WAY overused torso on Aunt May is quite a disappointment as well, unless it's a placeholder (but most of these figures look final). The Doc Ock mech is… fine, I guess. I like that it's portly, but there appears to be too much unused space around the minifig platform that strikes me as odd. The police boat is very average and unneeded. Also Vulture should have used the round ruffle piece from the CMF line, but that's not a huge deal. I do like the Ghostrider set. Hobgoblin and his glider look decent, the bike looks good, and the street scene might be filler but it looks nice. The only disappointing thing is that same horrible pajama-man. Couldn't they at least start giving him dual-molded legs in all sets?

    Those pictures above do not meet our size guidelines, but I've added smaller ones to the first post. Here they are: I quite like the copter in the Scarecrow set. That set overall is pretty tolerable to me, though I don't really care for Killer Moth (his color scheme is too all over the place - not LEGO's fault but I don't like it), and this new Blue Beetle costume (I'm used to the old one with yellow bubble eyes and spandex) does nothing for me.

    A reminder: please don't make posts just asking for information. When people have information they feel the can share, hopefully they will do so and we thank them for it. Making posts just to ask for news does nothing but add clutter to this already difficult-to-follow thread.
