  1. If you mean the armor on the guy in Chaos Catapult, it's a recolor from Ninjago. I wouldn't necessarily be surprised if Jafar had that piece, but it's not new.
  2. Please don't tell others where things go, even when you're right and just being helpful. It comes dangerously close to minimodding. Alert me instead.Marvelous Spidey, welcome. Usually, everything we know will be in the first post of this topic. I haven't looked at it recently enough, so it might need an update for some of the new summer Spider-Man set rumors. Mockingbird hasn't been mentioned.
  3. Stop the musing about figures you'd like! I already said very recently that doesn't belong here! Stick to rumors, please and thank you!
  4. Daredevil has nothing to do with any of our rumors. Neither does Coulson. Please stick to the rumors and put desires and speculation somewhere else. Thanks!
  5. Wow, this thread is really booming. I appreciate all of the excitement, but please: take musings about desired figures and anything not directly related to real rumors to the Speculation thread. Also, not that anyone has too recently, but please don't repost even links to the leaked Batcave pictures at this time. Thanks!
  6. Unless internal documents can be dead wrong about the price, that's what it is. So, maybe there's still hope that it will be cheaper when it comes out, but I think it's unlikely. I guess it's a lot. I'm sure this set will sell on nostalgia, though, just like the Firehouse (though that set has a tremendous amount of parts). For some reason it seems like Exclusive buildings and play sets operate under different pricing parameters. The buildings tend to have tons of pieces for the price, while play sets or any other UCS sets don't really.
  7. I don't see the problem with the stud wall. It doesn't look bad to me, like the back of the Firehouse. The only alternative would have been to have tall posts with no wall, which could have been fine too, but hey that will be an easy mod. I'm very happy not to pay for rock work detailing. Anybody hoping this set will be priced like Arkham, you're unfortunately in for a shock. This set has 2526 pieces and will cost USD 270.
  8. How could a new version of something done before not be a remake? The Clone Wars one was also a remake of the one from 2005. I'm sure the minifig selection will be different.
  9. Keep it to LEGO please. Pictures of Doctor Strange look - ok, that's related to LEGO. Pure movie talk - go to Culture & Multimedia. Thanks.
  10. Enough discussion of political correctness, what boys and girls like, etc. This discussion is so tired. If you need to have it, do so in General LEGO Discussion where threads already exist for that. Stick to the LEGO here please. Thanks!
  11. Ghost Rider is confirmed. Don't debate it please, I can tell you with complete confidence that a Spidey set with Ghost Rider is in the summer wave.
  12. There's a Spidey set with Ghost Rider. If I had to bet, it will come with a bike, since what else would Ghost Rider have?
  13. I don't think anyone is complaining about the price in terms of value. It literally just IS expensive. The value is good but that doesn't mean 350 bucks isn't a lot of money for many people, especially to drop on a LEGO set no less.To me, this isn't the type of set I would ever want. It's gorgeous, I enjoy looking at the pictures of it, but it's just too big for me to want it. I hope LEGO does well with it, but I'm still surprised that there's a market for a 350 dollar Ghostbusters set.
  14. Our own CorneliusMurdock has completed a wonderfully detailed review of the new LEGO Ghostbusters 75827 Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters! Click the picture to check it out in the Licensed Forum!
  15. Wow, I love these little models, and your work in general. The Architecture Studio color palette works so well. I must say, though, that I couldn't tell the nano prairie building was approximating the same building as the larger one. Even once I read more carefully and look at them again side by side, I have a hard time seeing them as the same thing because of the flat tiles used for the roof. The nano looks like a modernist building to me.
  16. I don't think you're mini-modding. You're asking for clarification - that's fine. The discussion has been a mess, but there's nothing much to 'organize' because there isn't any real information. The real information goes in the first post (which I admittedly need to update a little). The Spider-Man/4th set discussion has been a lot of hinting here and there and maybe blowing certain posts out of proportion. If anybody has any real knowledge of this set, let me know and I'll add it to the first post.
  17. The right thing to do if something looks out of place is use the Report button… which you did. Don't minimod as well.Nice to see a MOC of some Clone Wars material. These things always reminded me of something out of a futuristic/tech anime film, like Castle in the Sky. Not sure exactly why my brain makes that association. You've done a nice job replicating it.
  18. Take your discussion of the S16 poofy dress ice queen to the Special LEGO Themes section, please. This here is for Disney.
  19. Depends on what you consider 'confirmed.' If 'confirmed' means it's been stated or shown in official Lego documents that we can all access, then no, not confirmed. I consider information that comes from our trusted sources so be as good as confirmed.
  20. FBTB's review clearly shows that the roof is hinged too, so when you add the roof, shouldn't that help with the hinging problem? Maybe our EB review (coming soon) will address that issue. Not trying to be sly here, as I'm not the reviewer. I'm genuinely curious to find out.
  21. Cool it on the speculation please. There's a Speculation Thread for that, or use the Wishlist threads. This thread is for actual rumors. Thanks!
  22. The only plot point spoilable in Age of Ultron was Quicksilver dying. The movie in general isn't built on any secrets at all - it's built on fun character interactions and big action scenes. The feeling with Doomsday is that he will be a big deal for the movie and would have worked better as a surprise than as a goblin-looking thing revealed in the trailer. Of course, nobody knows what the movie actually has in store, and maybe knowing the fact that they fight Doomsday won't harm the viewing experience. Still, for a movie that's called Batman v Superman to reveal this far in advance that they're most likely allies in act three seems a bit misguided. I would love it if DC would just make big goofy action movies, but they're trying to make big dark and serious action movies. I don't think the Doomsday reveal is sucha big deal, personally. If the film is good, it will be good whether or not you know the plot ahead of time. If it's bad, knowing the plot from the trailer will just make you even more disappointed that they really had nothing clever in store, like what happened with Terminator Genisys.
  23. This movie really needs repeat viewings to drink it all in. There's just so much information packed into the dialogue that can go by very quickly. The second time watching it, JJ Abrams' explanation of BB8 asking R2 about the map totally IS right in the movie. BB8 rolls right up to R2 and says something in beeps and C3PO says 'it's no use asking if he has the map, he's in low power mode' (not exact dialogue but that's the gist of it). I'm not saying it's 100% spelled out, and I don't think anybody would get that R2 had the map from the Empire archives from when he was on the Death Star despite Ren saying the line about the map being in the Empire's files, but still, BB8 asking R2 about it is right in the movie. I can buy that it just takes R2 a while to boot up.
  24. I'm also in the 'No princesses in this line' boat. They have Pixar to pull from, plus Disney movies without Princesses like Lilo and Stitch. There's Mrs. Incredible, the Inside Out character possibilities, Minie, Daisy, just to name a few. Plenty of female characters to go around.
  25. I know this is a Marvel thread and your question is Marvel related, but I still want to discourage questions of this kind in here. The What set should I buy? thread in the General LEGO discussion exists for this very purpose. Besides, you should specify what you like to get out of a set (minifigs, build, pieces, best whole package, etc.), since those five sets listed have very different things going for them.
