  1. Alright, alright, let's end the discussion. Sandy has clarified things and we can now move on. In other news, here's a teaser for the next work in progress quest.
  2. Character knowledge/perception vs. Player knowledge/perception.
  3. Elphaba may sell offensive scrolls for 50 Gold, but I believe it had a price attached to it from Jeb's quest greater than that. As of the moment, Kadabra has yet to create a new character, so technically if he came on here and said 50 Gold was sufficient, it is. In other news, I loved the twist Sandy. The first one was kind of expected from how you had set everything up, but the second one really developed the character of the sister a lot.
  4. One of my favorite songs and now you've captured it beautifully in LEGO. Excellent entrance to the world of Brick Flick's DD.
  5. Or Scuba, you could keep doing it and we could see some inner Party conflict.
  6. Skrall sits on the deck nodding to Boomingham as he rests his back to the main mast. Removing his ram horn pipe, Skrall lights the sour smelling contents surveying the activity of the crew. The ogre's mind wanders. Slavery, it can take many forms, not all imprisonments require bars or chains, sometimes even the embrace of a loved one could stifle.
  7. "Already done yer Majesty." Skrall stands aside as the group makes their way up, he quietly relays the captain's message to them. "Fer the moment, I've got no reason to doubt him, but we should still keep our eye on him."
  8. "Hmfff... figures, probably were sleepin' on the job while we were up here workin' our behinds off." Skrall mutters to himself as he sheathes Leojagd. "Captain, mind tellin' me why we're carryin' black powder?"
  9. Skrall taps his foot as he waits above deck, they had been down their for quite a bit and he still hadn't heard any sounds of a scuffle. "All clear down there?"
  10. I can't wait to see your next character.

  11. I can't wait to see your next character.

  12. Yeh, I redid the calculations taking into account how the Hunter's Quiver works, if Skrall favored both Beasts and Vermin, was wearing the Rat Mancer's cowl, wielding Rat's Bane, was encouraged, and the rat was fragile, it would be a x768 multiplier. Edit: Math error, grand total of 1152x multiplier.
  13. "Thank ya yer majesty, I'm sure ya probably feel the same about bein' sealed in stone. Tight spaces an' me never got along, ask En Sabah Nur back at the hall at some point." Skrall unsheathes Leojagd and stands by the entrance of the hatch.
  14. Ah, I wanted a rat war so bad.
  15. Skrall stands up and looks at the opening a slight trickle of sweat running down his brow. "Yer Majesty, I think now would be a good time to mention, ummm... I'm not a big fan of what do ya say... tight spaces. If ya want I'll see about makin' sure that any of those orcs down below don't get very far should they come top side."
  16. "Thanks yer majesty, looks like a pretty penny." Skrall catches the Doubloon twiddling it between his fingers before gently biting down on the metal. "Seems genuine enough, a little bit heavier than the normal gold piece, perhaps it will fetch a fair price back home." Skrall stows the Doubloon in his pocket before removing the bananna from his satchel. Slowing peeling the ripe fruit he looks over at Boomingham as Nyx walks off. "Ah women... She's still young, yer Majesty, it takes a while to start seein' the bigger picture, the long run, and all that." Skrall sighs taking a bite out of the Nutritious Bannana. "So what's yer plan once we reach Strivvi? If those slavers are any representation of the folks we're goin' to run into, I don't think any of us are safe no matter what the color of our skin be."
  17. Hey I'll counteroffer if someone is interested in a Zoot's plaything.
  18. Thank you for the clarification, I had read through that specific battle at one point and noted that you had diverted the Blood Ritual to a KO'd player and had thought you had done this out of a misunderstanding and not for RP purposes, prior to that I hadn't paid attention to any specifc battles in which you had run when a Blood Ritual was rolled. Yes, I did set something of a precident with my last quest, however your decision to treat it as such looked like it had been made without prior discussion with the PC's of whom the RP decision affected. That said, I should have given you more credit then thinking you had made a misunderstanding so I am sorry for that. As to the scrolls issue, I cannot remember if we were doing it wrong and then we were straightened out, or if the topic came up of how overpowered the scrolls were and then the rule was changed. I get your point though and even though I QM, I tend to side with PC's. Anyways I'll let the topic rest, it's all been straightened out anyways and the rules are going to get a clarification.
  19. Mainly because someone could keep quiet. :D But you'll have to look up your mafia history to figure it out.

  20. While Humanoids are the way to go for a Hunter as far as regular quests, the Fields are unique in that they contain such a wide variety of enemies, which tends to hinder the absolute effectiveness of Hunter's.
  21. Ah, I forgot about that post and yes I would agree with you if that is what you wanted Thorm to do. However in my opinion, it should have been discussed before it happened instead of being assumed.
  22. You've somewhat got me there, however I did check with the PC first. Also, in that case the rule was definate, Gaurdian Angel = status effect protection and was altered by a player conceeded decision. The Blood Ritual was misunderstood due to a wording issue. If Swils decided he wanted his Blood Ritual to ineffecively go to Arasmyth for RP purposes I would have no problem with it. Again the healing staff was a misunderstanding of the original intent and is now being corrected. If Flipz wanted to inflict confuse on his target for RP purposes, then he should be given the chance to do so once the rule has been clarified to mean what it was intended to mean. I'm certainly not upset if a QM works by the letter of the law when it comes to the rules, they just need to be accomidating when they discover that the rule was flawed and needed further clarification.
  23. Skrall tears Leojagd out of Orc A's body, waiting a brief moment for Nyx to release her spell he also lunges at Orc D from the front row. "Ignacio, yer with me this round. Let the witch deal with the other one."
  24. I'm fine if this is what is finally decided upon, but I think this is just another case of the rules needing more clarification, similar to the Shaman's Blood Ritual not giving health to KO'd members even though they have the lowest current health, fiasco a few days back. I'll take whatever the final word from Sandy is on it. Also it should be noted that healing staffs need to be upgraded as well in order to be effective. Sure they only cost 50 gold, but a hero needs to maintain two weapons for it to be effective as opposed to a Cleric who only needs to upgrade one.
