Rrrroof! I know a lot has been said about the cow, but could one of the accusers put their accusation in a logical format. Right now all I see is a lot of arguing back and forth about Petey's list and whether we should pay attention to it or not and on that note I think the mouse I'm curious as to why the mouse thinks it can't be 100% accurate? None of the animals on Petey's list have come up town yet and you are willing to state that it is impossible for it to be 100% accurate. We need to refrain from speaking with absolutes as there is always a possibility of a different scenario, for instance, Petey's list could be 100% accurate. I'm not saying that it is, but please don't ignore the possibility. Anyways continuing on with Carly, has anyone else bothered to go back and contemplate on what was said the other day? This whole disagreement seems based upon voting methods, whether getting lurkers to talk or not is worth the effort. I can see Carly's frustration with Portia, who at some point seemed like she was in left field with her idea. But I'm fascinated that Carly decided to fixate on that point instead of accepting their difference and moving on. If Carly knew that Portia was only out to get lurkers to say a word and then unvote, why would she worry about it? A scum only needs to convince a majority of the town to agree with them (lynch one of the main canadites), they don't have to worry about those minorities in the town (those trying to get lurkers to talk) who don't go along with their plan. Even if Carly is a scum trying to protect the lurker Wallace, it would seem to me that she had no need to worry/fixate on Portia because Portia even said that she wasn't out to lynch the lurkers. This isn't to say that Carly still can't be scum, but I'm trying to wrap my poor little head around it all. -

"If the elf has a potion, that will at least be a gauranteed heal and I can keep on goin' if that's suitable to everyone else." Skrall leaned up against the wall trying to stifle the blood pouring from his side. -

Rrrroof! As in Rrrrruffles! I attempted to try and figure out a reason why Bristol was killed making the least amount of assumptions. According to your reasoning, her kill doesn't make sense from a scum's perspective and thus you go on to assume that it was probably a serial killer and that the scum were either blocked or their target was protected. -

*Sniffs Horace's Tail in greeting* Roof! I might not have a ton of experience in these more complicated situations. But from a simplist perspective I'd say that Bristol seems like the most probable cultist kill. I know the comment has come up about them trying to take out town leadership, but those evil beasties probably want to do away with any 'special' individuals in our midst as well. Those individuals are probably trying to lay low to not attract any attention to themselves from either killers or blockers, just like Bristol was. Furthermore, I agree that the bear trap seemed rigged specifically for a walrus or some other fish eating individual and thus was a premeditated act probably by a vigilante or a serial killer. I mean Look at all the fish guts everywhere. Until further evidence presents itself I think we should stick to the simplist solution instead of jumping to a lot of conclusions. Consider the conclusions, yes, but don't be controlled by them. -

Skrall grunted as he took a spear to the side, "Polearms, I'm going to have to get me one of those. Nyx, I'll deal with the spear wieldin' monkey and start takin' down the weaker ones, you keep the heavies occupied." Skrall reloaded his Hunter's Crossbow and fired again at Stim from the back row. -
No problem, everyone's first battle from a QM perspective is generally a little confusing. Great line-up though, I am thoroughly enjoying the presentation of the quest thus far.
-
Actually it only applies to the enemy targeted so the Minotaur Warrior only receives the strike even though it is more powerful than his current health, leaving the tribesman unaffected.
-
Khorne, how exactly was the Wild Tribesman injured in your quest's 1st round of battle?

OoC: Found the rule change here, the class sheets haven't been updated to reflect the changes yet. "Atramor, even if ya manage another hit on the archer, yer not goin' ta take him out while he's in the back row." -

OoC: We can check with Sandy, but I believe a Hunter's Shield roll is treated as a "hit" if the enemy has already been marked. Seeing that the scroll wielding ape wasn't going anywhere fast. Skrall quickly unholstered his Hunter's Crossbow and released another bolt at Stim from the back row. -
I'm actually amazed myself that we were able to fix a stone statue with a hammer, wrench, and a paint brush. Wait since everyone is up tonigth, that means I can keep the garage open without worrying about keeping anyone up.

"What ever ya say Paladin, make sure ya get yerself healed up, I'll hold off the one with the flail." Skrall positioned himself between the flail wielding ape and the rest of the Party from the back row. The Ogre unstrapped his Heavy Crossbow from the back, he attempts to pin the scroll ape Stim to the wall of the warehouse. -

I can't see a probable reason why Petey would send a message to Casey if Petey was scum, since he would have his whole team to help him out. I see the logic now behind those arguing against a vote on Pennie for the time being so I am willing to vote: Casey Cat (Scouts). -

Takes a whiff of Pancho's tail feathers* I agree with you, there's not been a whole lot that jumps out to me as scummy, of course some people I find more suspicious than others but it's hard for me to put it all the pieces together to see which one is more likely scum. My initial suspicion against Pennie was her quickly jumping on Petey after Gordon's initial suspicion that combined with the fact that he seemed to be making a big deal about he being the one to lead the charge against her. Seamus is right in that for a scum, she would be in an ideal position the next day as she could claim that Petey was acting wierd anyways and deserved being lynched. However her continual tunnel vision after this fact has been brought up, make me think she is town as I have often found evil people to be rather wishy washy and sway with the feelings of the crowd. Casey is basically in the same boat as I am though albeit he has been more talkative, as both of us were contacted by Petey after we demonstrated that we weren't willing to put much weight into the initial argument that he was being "too defensive". While Petey's behavior is consistant with my past dealings with him (i.e. his nervous, takes everything out proportion attitude) as Seamus has also noted, I can't help but shake the doubt that makes me wonder why Petey was so definite he was going to be lynched when no one had even placed a single vote against him yet. So where does that leave us? Petey: Too defensive Pennie: Tunnel vision Casey: Wishy-washy What do we learn from lynching any of them? If Petey is scum, then it doesn't lead us to the next one as I see no reason why he would contact either Casey or myself since he would have scummy partners who could come out and try and draw attention away from him without resorting to PM's for help. If Pennie is scum, then it makes those who agreed with her, specifically Gordon who is now defending her and was in on the original suspicion against Petey, possibly scum. If Casey is scum, then it also doesn't lead us to the next scum, as again Petey had no reason to contact both Casey and I privately since they were both mafia in cahoots. Feel free to point out where I am missing something, but this is how I see it currently. I'm not with the crowd who is against voting and neither am I for those who are wasting their votes trying to get the quieter ones to speak. If we really want to get them to pipe up, they have to feel their in danger and 1 or even 2 votes are not going to do that, especially when there are more eligable canadites being voted upon. The day isn't done yet and we can still come to a more concrete decision, until that time, I'll hold my vote but will eventually apply it. -
Sandy, I'm curious as to where the head for the Zombie Peasant in the unlimeted quest comes from.

"What kind of Paladin are ya, not wearin' any sabatons!" Skrall heckled as he reloaded his Hunter's Crossbow and took another shot at Sim from the back row. As he aimed he commented to Rufindel, "thanks again elf, it's about time I was in a Party with a proper healer. Remind me by the way never to get on Atramor's bad side," Skrall shivered as he observed the witch out the side of his eye as he moved from ape to ape leaving a trail of poisoned enemies as he went. -
No problem, Heroica is one of those games which you can pick up and drop and then come back to pretty easily. We'll look forward to your return.

Bandwagon may be too strong a word, but whatever you want to call it, I didn't buy it at the time, as I expressed based upon prior experience, but also considered that my initial analysis could be off. We are all faliable, unless you happen to know something more concrete then the rest of us. Anyways, I'm one of the few I think that vocally expressed that I didn't buy the initial suspicion for the time being and Petey I guess thought that was enough to contact me. Carry on with your musings, it's what we need if we are to get anywhere. -

I saw his "reaction" as consistant with my dealings with Mr. Panda in the past. Also if not jumping on the "he's too defensive thus he must be evil" bandwagon is enough for Petey to consider me an ally then I would think it is he who you should be asking your question to. -

But Pennie, you just claimed that you had the first accusation against Petey, when actually it was Gordon who said that Petey was a bit too defensive. Please try to clarify what you are saying in the future. I still think you were too hasty on agreeing with Gordon and you've done it a few more times since then. Anyways moving onward, Casey is not the only one Petey contacted. Mr. Panda also chatted with me about the encroaching lynch on him. I can understand that someone would try to contact those who were more level-headed, especially those who are not on the "you reacted too defensively and must therefore be evil" bandwagon. Also is your list really necessary Mr. Rabbit? I think we all can do this on our own and your attempt to look helpful especially with a options list has been done time and time again by the evil people in the storybooks. But thank you anyways, at least you are saying something. -
A 100% success rate actually doesn't sound that bad, it basically means you get get Nostrums (in a Scroll of Luck's case) for 30 Gold (The cost of a Grand Tonic) instead of 35 Gold. Though I think having all of these scrolls kind of takes away from the uniqueness of the Minstrel's ability to buff the Party's stats.

"I'll take that as a compliment yer majesty, remember not confuse strategy fer foolhardiness and dumb luck though." Skrall smirked as he continued to keep his bead on the fleeing Metasimian as he attempted to find cover from the Ogre's crossbow. -
Endgame, I think the skeleton decoy that Althior setup should have more health as it absorbs the damage that a player would have taken if my understanding is correct. So if Althior was in the back row when healing himself that would be (15/2)-4=3 damage done to the decoy.
