    Skrall trods over to the gentleman with the dark gray hair to see if he was willing to chat. "Afternoon good sir, ya fella's make this voyage often or do ya gentleman stick to safer waters?"

    Skrall originally had no family (i.e. wife and kids), he was supposed to be something of a cross between Robin Hood and Martin Luther King Jr., fighting for equal rights for all green-skins. But since the onset of the game, most people aside from Boomingham and Monk Pretzel have held pretty positive views on orcs/trolls/goblins and the like, so portraying Skrall as the voice of a persecuted race group didn't really fit. Thus, Skrall has now gone in the direction of being a divorced working ogre who still has to pay child-support back home and tries to avoid remembering his ex- and his old life as much as he can.

    I feel the same way about Skrall at the moment, nothing has really jumped out at me as far as the expert or master classes (aside from Paragon, sod starting as a ranger ), but I'm satisfied to keep on developing him as a Hunter.

    Don't forget about expert classes provided by QM's. On another note, I don't think the base classes should be obsolete even at the higher levels. Sure you lose a health bonus, but what Berserker doesn't wish they could go back to their Battle Fury, or Hunters their Triple Arrow, or Mystic Knight their Sentinel? Do we really need beefier versions of the base classes, just putting the thought out there. On another note JimB, if you could incorporate the flying aspect into the winged warrior's battle style that would be awesome.

    I like the idea, but think you need to go for something unique about the class in battle. Right now it feels like a hybrid of warden and sorcerer. I guess I should be asking what is the strength of the class and what is its weakness? What role do you foresee the class playing in combat? Since they wield bows and shields they serve pretty much the same purpose as Wardens except they have the chance of stunning all the enemies in the same round which means they'll almost always be put first in the battle order. The role-playing aspect is awesome but mechanically what purpose does a Winged Warrior serve in a Party. I'm not saying you haven't answered the question, I think it just needs a little more definition. Random question now, does the Warrior get to make a Lined-up Shot in addition to his normal attack on his next turn or his next turn automatically considered a Careful Aim?

    Skrall knew the captain's threats were baseless unless of course the town watch had power outside of Uland, but he didn't reveal his annoyance. "As I'm sure you are aware, Lilbelly had a few incompetencies of his own and catching one of the key members of the Wolfgang is not as staight forward as it seems. No matter, I'm glad to see the watch in what appears to be more capable and efficient hands. I have no questions and am all set to leave, though I am curious as to the nature of the documents that had us almost killed earlier."

    "Ogres are never late, my dear captain, they arrive precisely when people don't want them to. I believe yer the replacement fer the late Lieutenant Lilbelly, who I personally had the pleasure of servin' a year or so ago. Anyways, we had a bit of a scuffle with some of the local gangs while obtainin' some documents yer recruit was s'pposed to pick up."

    It's slightly different in there is no dice rolled to wake up a monster as in the case of a hero. Only waiting three rounds or successfully attacking it will wake it up. Also, yes, in order for you to put someone to sleep using the lullaby wand, you need to physically attack with it.

All by myself, just me and my wrench. *Goes over and smells Cameron's bottom* I just don't understand it Cameron, I'm good looking, I've got a great tool, a solid job, I don't go around biting people and yet Becka ends up with a bear and Portia with an elephant. What's a dog gotta do to get some attention around here?

    If you split the two up I'd suggest making them into a pair of Shoes of Running Really Fast.

    Got it, well my thoughts were if the Party had been stunned by Alanna earlier, then Dak would be immune to it the second time. But it appears that Little Jane was put to sleep by Sylph after Alanna's first roll of special damage so he would have been immune to Asleep as he is now.

    Sandy, does Dak's trendy handbag protect him from the last effect that hit the Party or the last effect that hit anyone in the battle?

    It's not wrong, but you've got a while to go. What are everyone's feelings though on collecting equipment for your second character with your first character? I've considered ideas for a second character but they will only be tied to Skrall storywise, all of their equipment and stuff they will have to find on their own or barter for from someone else after they arrive at the hall, basically starting from scratch as if my other character didn't exist.

    Skrall sized the sharkling up, he had never cared for their race nor any that dealt with the lending and borrowing of gold, but he knew his purse was light and that the Party may have need of funds if they were on a distant journey. "I don't think we've had the pleasure of meetin' yet Sharklin', but as I take it some of my companions have done some business with ya in the past, I'll trust ya are a reasonable chap. So I don't mind a short loan of 100 Gold if ya can spare the expense."

    One thought to add, if we start denying weapon effects to mages or any ether based attacks they also have to get the advantages, for instance if Nyx was wielding Leojagd she wouldn't be slowed. Or if a sorcerer got a hold of the Sword od the Vampir they wouldn't be jynxed.

    Skrall roused himself, the bleeding had stopped, but he'd have to add the scars to his collection. "Well now, that was quite a scrape. Doesn't look like I missed much while I was out. Ya've got to pay a little more attention little Druid, enemies of that stature wouldn't bat an eye in finishin' ya off if they had the chance after they knocked ya out." Skrall gingerly helped the druid to her feet taking care not to dislocate her shoulder. "Now then, apparently these chaps were s'possed to be meetin' someone here, hopefully they're still around and in better condition than the apes." Skrall scanned the darkness of the warehouse looking for signs of life.

    Skrall grunted as he took the halberd to the side, "Rrr, I"m getting tired of this." Skrall watched as Eliara approached the occupied pole-arm wielding ape. "The druid's goin' to get herself killed takin' on an opponent like that." Skrall moved quickly to try and get to the ape before her, swinging Leojard in a high arc at Slim from the front row. "You want smash, how about yer skull, filthy ape!"

Hello Maurice! *Smells the mouse's hindquarters* I'm interested in the comment made by the bunny as well and would prefer something much more substantial than an argument based on when someone was paying attention (even though I still think its scummy or at least not very helpful to this town).     Skrall unsheathed Leojagd and charged Louie from the front row, "Ya sure ain't as talkative as yer fellows, I like that in an enemy, quiet and straight to business. Well let's have at it! Thanks fer the healin' again elf, by the way," Skrall commented as he swang the greatsword like a windmill over his head.

    Alright, well after a lot of reading and even though I can't figure out why Carly was so focused on Portia's voting method the other day, her back and forth behavior of when she was and wasn't paying attention is enough to convince me that she is either a scum that's been backed into a corner, or a townie that has shown they're not willing to put forth the effort to equally analyze everything that has been said.
