  1. I can't ask for anymore. Hervi, I was under the impression that Posidon and Aphrodite were your confidants in this area of dealing with Artemis and Demeter, but Mursi has now cleared that up. So where does that leave us? Only a few hours left in the day and the evidence against Gerrid and Bergulf is pretty much equal in their solidarity. So who get's lynched, or will we even get enough votes for a lynch? The only thing that is starting to bother me and this could be said of yesterday as well, is that no one is jumping up to defend either Gerrid or Bergulf (hardly). Where's the scum team to help out when they need them? As people have already commented, they are already down 1 member, I would think they'd be fighting pretty hard to keep their numbers from going any lower.
  2. Oy veh! So I outlined why I thought Gerrid was not as suspicious as Bergulf, but would someone care to explain further, why exactly Gerrid is due our votes? Is it mainly her change of verbage tense? Plus Hervi, what is with you trusting everyone (aside from Snorta that is)? Demeter, Artemis, Aphrodite, Poseidon, how can you be so sure none of them are playing the same role that Snorta did in the past? It's all well and good if you are town and you are actually leading us forward, but you've got to look at it from the perspective of those who aren't inside that circle, if you are scum then we are in a ton of trouble and all of this looks too convenient for you.
  3. I can see that attitude coming from a day 1 situation, but day 2? If everyone feels that way where does this leave us for tomorrow? Yes we may obtain some information from those with special abilities amongst us, but take care lest we depend too much upon that alone and not enough on our own independent reasoning as well. Many of us are in the same long-ship as you because we are not always privy to the things going on behind the scene, but from 157 comments from people I would think there are at least some things that a vote can be based upon.
  4. After reviewing everything else he has said today, this is about the only thing that seems remotely suspicious about Gerrid. Most of the initial suspicions seem to be coming out of Finn's gut feelings about how a townie should act, there is nothing wrong with that and he could very well be right, but I want us to keep in mind that this is mainly what we are basing that accusation upon. Leaving aside Hervi and Dragmall, the same could be said of Bergulf. As has already been noted by Petrus, this statement seems quite unlike what we had come to expect from him. Now I trusted Danr, evaluation of Bergulf yestereday, but considering the offness of this statement today I'm open to reconsideration. In fact, if it's based off of voting between Bergulf and Gerrid for making a statement that strikes me as odd, I'm more inclined to think Bergulf is the guiltier of the two, not too mention that he has more conversations that link back to him from many other individuals should he come up as scum. Thus I'm going to Vote: Bergulf (badboytje88)
  5. I for one am somewhat disappointed. I thought there was actually something going on behind the scenes that smoothed things out between you two, Hervi and Dragmall, that would lead to a definite catching of scum, but this? While I'm more trusting of you than Snorta, again I expected more, this sincerily looks like a last minute vote against a sheep, it could yield us something, but it's more of a shot in the dark I feel as of the moment. I'll go back and read through it all again, but I'm not yet convinced as it concerns Gerrid.
  6. The point could be made that if we're lynching the accuser of a townie, then we should lynch Hervi for his contributions against Danr yesterday. As Sveinn has already commented, it is rare that we ever end up lynching the actual accusers. Just saying... Thank you for the clarification, this helps relieve some of my doubts, assuming that you aren't a scum also in league with Hervi. But that aside, this helps clear things a little.
  7. Got it, I was thinking there were two seperate instances. The first where you joked about it and the second where Steinvor told Hervi privately that he (Steinvor) was told by you (Dragmall) that you were a Neutral. Thank you for straightening that out.
  8. So let me see if I've got this then. Hervi claims that you told Steinvor that you were Neutral and you claim to have made a jest that suggested you were Neutral which is what Sveinn and Dagrun agree with.
  9. Yes there are supposidly 4 people who can back this up, however since it is your honesty that is being called into question, the rest of us don't know this for a surity. This could be the case, however you initially pressed him because you thought he was neutral. From my perspective now that the idea that he may be scum is gaining ground you seem all to willing to go along with that assumption. The only confirmation we've seen is agreement that there was a conversation between you and a few others and that it appears Dragmall was joking about his neutrality. If there are other instances then please provide them, but you seem to be padding your argument with nice statements like this. But again why defend Bergulf, this is day one we are talking about. Why would a supposed scum defend a townie that was going to get lynched, this thought should have gone through your head, I would have suspected it of you but no you went right along with it. Don't try giving me the Sveinn example either as basis for your acton. A quick perusial of Sveinn's example will reveal that most people thought he was defending an innocent while an actual analysis of his own statements revealed that he was actually quite neutral on the subject. I'm sorry but I don't know how many times I've heard a scum trying to guilt trip innocent people just because they are working so hard. Again, even if there are townies who know this to be the truth, the rest of us not in the know can't confirm if you are lying or not, so that doesn't add crediblity to your story I'm afraid. You are a very smart viking and you have my total respect, but I have expected more from you in these circumstances, whether it being more cautious in who you deal with or who you lynch, and right now I'm not seeing it. Maybe I'm just getting a different read and it's not your fault, or maybe it's because you aren't being on the level with us. I'm still up for a lot of discussion, I still don't think we've gotten things straight enough yet to say who is right and there are alot of individuals spurting out half-baked ideas or assumptions that are confusing the actual facts i.e. things that a person has stated with honest certainty. Alright now we have a clear statement. Can any of the other individuals that were privy to this "joking" confrim this?
  10. Actually there is debate on whether that claim was said in seriousness and the accuser (Hervi) himself has admitted that his other companions thought it was a joke as well as the accused. So he never claimed in seriousness that he was a neutral. In fact he is seriously claiming otherwise currently. I don't mean to prick, but you are seeming more and more anxious to back up a vote based on others' arguments without fully reading them.
  11. Please let us not muddle the waters until we set things straight. I'm fine with you voting against him, but the case built up thus far is based upon him being a neutral not a servant of Loki, unless of course you're trying to rush things along to avoid suspicion being placed back on yourself.
  12. "Don't ferget Ratabor, we've got our own business to take care of as well. No need in gettin' to be all heroic."
  13. Yes, but another reason to keep in mind for a BANG! out on the offensive is that if there is a deliberate twisting of the facts, which from my understanding is what is being claimed.
  14. We do know the discussion about Hades is true, but Artemis and Demeter are two individuals we know nothing about, whether they are both town or scum or one or the other. I was personally surprised that we didn't see one of Hervi's plays yesterday. To answer your biggest doubt, it is because Hervi is known for his plays that he has to keep up appearances. I would be incredibly suspicious of him if he stayed quiet for too long and even now I'm not sure what to think of him. This whole affair could easily turn south and I can see as much of a metagame reason for Hervi eliminating Steinvior as Dragmall would. Hold it, now you're postulating that Dragmall could be scum along with Gerrid when you've based your entire arguement against Dragmall on the fact that he is supposedly lying about being a neutral.
  15. Skrall nods at the Anubite at the mention of his name, Strivvi was turning out to be a more divided city then he had earlier thought.
  16. Neutrals are never good but that does not always mean they are useless, our main objective is to eliminate the servants of Loki, If a neutral stands in our way, then we take them down, otherwise let us not lose our perspective. I'm am also confused as to why we would have two individuals that are able to see into the hearts of our fellow warriors and learn their allegiance. This is too good to be true in my book, so I highly doubt that they are both on our side. If Artemis is not lying about his/her action and if we assume their is no secondary party with a large number of members, I am of the mind that he/she is of the loyal Einherjar. It does not seem sensible to me, for a servant of Loki to make up such a complex role, when they could simply claim to be a plain "investigator". Furthermore if Artemis is a servant of Loki, why claim to be an investigator, when the chances are high that their is a Einherjar counter-part that could easily contest their claim? For now I am more suspicious of Demeter, with a slight curiosity about Hades as well.
  17. I believe the chest was also featured in one of the recent pirate themed Lego board games.
  18. Danr, may your name always be remembered as one who fought to the end against both dragons and wrong accusations. I agree with the squinter that from recalling the conversations of yesterday, the the votes against Bloodaxe were somewhat peculiar. While some have explained it away as they were speaking at the same time as Ragnar, it troubles me that the later one specifically may not have been paying attention. I also affirm that we should stick to the simplest explanation and not try and muddy up the ocean needlessly for the time being. It is however, of good cheer that the scum Jormund has been dealt with. Reflecting on the events of yesterday, it would seem he was rather wishy washy, the only two things I noted were his pointing out of Carl during the early hours of the day (a statement I found too short and given too early to deem accusatory or possibly misleading) and a guess as to whether we had to worry about conversions, that again neither supported nor denied their existence. If you should seek an answer as to why I did not throw the stone, it is simply that I did not think Danr worthy of it and up until that point neither did I of anyone else.
  19. Skrall looks between the two before mentioning to his companions quietly "Now now, let's not get to feudin' amongst ourselves as well. I'm all for Atramor's suggestion, plus if there's to be any assassination, it's best some of us be around to keep things from becoming hectic. I'm fine with accompanyin' both Rufindel and Ms. Nyx, the two of us are of hardier stock so we won't be needin' as much healin' attention."
  20. As long as it's still a long sword it doesn't matter to me what it looks like so you're free to change it just like Docken did with his shield. I just thought a rapier better suited a vampire than a broadsword.
  21. I thought it was dinner or sleep for that matter.
  22. Wary the Black is still here. Nothing frightens me, not even that pompous Patrekr the Red.
  23. Beat me to the punch. I've been planning on using them exactly for an elemental race, but haven't found the right setting for them yet. Good to see that other people have the same idea though.
  24. Sign-ups will probably start beginning/middle of November. I know Zepher's planning on doing his last Wren quest sometime in December, so I'll probably take some of the people who didn't get a chance to go on the finale of that quest and yes the Swashbuckler expert class will become available, assuming it becomes approved, but that's another 2 quests out.
  25. Well I initially thought about having dwarves that lived in trees and elves that lived underground, but my collection is more suited for tunnels and caverns and I really wanted to do a dwarf quest so here we are. Building is slow, as I'm creating 3 & 1/2 towns in addition to a number of tunnel and cavern scenes, but hopefully it will all come together in the end. Don't worry Flipz, this will be a 3-parter so you'll have plenty of opportunities.
