  1. Will there be instructions or more detailed photos, at least for the chassis?
  2. Maybe something based on a vehicle from the King of the Hammers?
  3. Try front and rear floating axles, look at doc brown's 1932 hot rod for some good inspiration. Floating axles generally can take more punishment.
  4. Y.ou can get some good ideas from www.texbrick.com, look in the articles
  5. YES!!! Thanks so much for instructions!
  6. looks nice so far. Im looking forward to more.
  7. Aha, you did use the unimogs portal axles for something!
  8. 8880 and 8466, I wasn't born when 8880 came out, and wasn't interested in technic whan 8466 came out
  9. I know it looks like there's no center diff, but the rc motors are hard coupled to the differential.
  10. Try these hubs I made. Really, they are good for almost everything.
  11. I have made a suspension with 3l spacing, and it worked just fine. Besides, its a 4 bar linkage, so spacing shouldnt change if. wishbones are parallel
  12. Hw did you modify them? I have 4 cats, 2 dogs, and am fostering ab.out 20 kittens for a shelter.
  13. What about this design I came up with a while ago?
  14. I used a very similar suspension setup on a small truck, except instead of using shock absorbers, I just put a single transverse torsion bar, and it worked very well.
  15. Not when they are pushed in all the way. Not when they are pushed in all the way.
  16. There's a topic called "Short Axle Connection and U-Joints", maybe put those pics in there.
  17. It's really not heavy, if you just use this to replace the whole front end. Most of the weight is just the servomotor. The front part is only made of a few beams, but the very, very small extra weight is worth it to keep the axle from falling off.
  18. It's not a Tatra. It's Sheepo's custom design with pendular suspension.
  19. Nice model! to brace the front axle, try this setup that I designed: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=521119
  20. Yeah, I can't use technicopedia either. I emailed blakbird, and he said"I ran out of bandwidth for the month. Someone on a car blog used one of my animations in their blog and it used up 10 Gb of bandwidth in 1 hour before I could stop them, so now my site is down until next month." Go to Sariel's site www.sariel.pl, and look at his gear tutorial.
  21. That's a lot! I don't have any technic figures, but I wish I did. They were discontinued before I even was interested in Technic. I spy Sheepo's Mini Cooper and Rally Car XR7...
