Unrest in the Forest - Day 8: Moving Pictures

No, I didn't. Where did I say that?? But, did Walter tell you that Sue flipped Scum? -

I don't know. What do you mean? Obviously Scum. Probably Sue? Specifically, which person? I have no way of knowing. -

For the night Barry was killed? Here's where I think you're wrong. The numbers are taken at the end of the night. Right? -

I have a lot of work to do but I'll explain later how there can be. In case there is another night phase, I prefer not to get into the details of my beautiful vest. -

So, you want me to force a draw and let them target each other at night? Can I pretend to be the vig still? We could have a Mexican standoff. I can't shoot but I can't get shot either. After how scummy Sammy has been from the beginning? Lassie has seemed really Oak-y. Then again, we thought the opposite about Sue and Adelaide. This is another reason I doubted you and William...and Chester until he blew up. I didn't think we'd have four passive Town roles. But, here we are. And we had no other roles. Two investigators, a vig and a jailkeeper. Thanks Alder. -

Something's not right, because Sammy knew that Sue was Scum and it seems like he knew Adelaide's info as well. He said "supposedly Oak" maybe in case Adelaide flipped neutral. Waldorf could be legit and the Scum had a framer or Sammy is the Godfather...or there's an investigation-proof Serial Killer? What the hell? If one of them is Scum and the other the Serial Killer and the Town can't win with the Serial Killer...then are the Oaks out of luck?? My participle is dangling. Sammy came to us and said that Sue was dead and that she was Scum. How the hell did he know she was Scum?? I wasn't even told she was dead! Maybe Alder just likes Sammy more... -

Not that anybody who is non-Town isn't supposed to be. That's the nature of the game. I don't think less of you for being randomly selected to be the liar in a game about lying. -

Oh, I forgot. Sammy was asking me and Lassie if we were protector or blocker or knew any reason the Scum wouldn't be able to kill. Then he suggested that none of us vote so we can all win. If we could all win...there wouldn't be a Day 8! This is painfully obvious. My brain is unlocking now. You're something you're not supposed to be. -

Damn it, then which one is the Serial Killer? And why does everyone seems so Scummy to me all the time?? Are you guys sure? You also voted Adelaide as the Scummiest out of our numbers yesterday. If Sammy is Scum and Lassie is the Serial Killer, are they going to lynch me? I deserve it for being so off in my instincts. I have freaking school work to do. I wish this game would stop being so interesting. I cannot imagine why you would be told that Sue was Scum, or even dead and I wouldn't be told the same info. I was told there would be a Day 8 and that the rules were changing. Why would Alder tell you more than me? -

So you're suggesting the SK tried to kill me and the vig killed Sue? And there's no more Scum? I already said I'm not the vig. The vig is dead. The whole game ends today one way or another. It has to. No point in trying to draw the kill anymore. But, it worked! -

Hinckley replied to Walter Kovacs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Sue was a Maple and Adelaide was an Oak?? Hey, somebody tried to kill me!!! Nah nah nah nah nah. Good thing I'm so beautiful. So, megabluck the codes. Sammy came to me and Adelaide in private about an hour ago and told us Bob was dead and that he was Scum and that Adelaide was supposedly Town. Now he wants us not to vote today so we can all win. So, is Sammy the Serial Killer? Or is Lassie? I'm inclined to believe Lassie is the Serial Killer who killed Sue and Sammy tried to kill me. But it didn't work. Or Sue tried to kill me but Sammy or Lassie killed him? What the...? I'm so glad this will be over soon. I never considered Sammy as a possibility for Serial Killer. Not only was it his confidence in certain things and an overall Scummy vibe–constantly–but he was investigated as Town. I know there's the possibility that Waldorf was naive, but I can't imagine a host allowing a Serial Killer to investigate as Town. For example, if I were to use a naive investigator, which I wouldn't, I would make the Serial Killer unreadable to a naive. Recently, the way he talked about Waldorf and brought up the investigation again and the fact that Waldorf was killed that night says a lot. Still, someone killed Scum and I'm not the vig as I had been hinting. I was trying to draw the Scum kill, which it looks like I did. Either way, I have no idea why Sammy would know all these things unless he was either Scum or Alder helped him figure out the scenarios by telling him (as the SK) who had died and what they flipped. My brain just ached even considering all of this. Is Lassie Scum? She seems like she'd make the perfect Serial Killer. She still played for the Town while keeping a lower profile. She said in private she didn't know how to find SKs. That's really clever. It feels like either Sammy is the Serial Killer and Lassie is Town or Sammy is Scum and Lassie is the Serial Killer. I'm really freaking lost right now. I hope I'm not the only Oak. Hey Adelaide, your acting really sucks. Sorry we lynched you. Sue, great game! You were the second to last person I thought was Scum. My instincts suck this game... -
Unrest in the Forest - Day 7: Permanent Waves
Hinckley replied to Walter Kovacs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
My point is that he's not concerned with finding Scum. He's only defending himself. That's not Town play. Gotcha. Sheesh, I get it. You put it in the codes, I understood. The vig won't kill tonight. Her behavior has cleared her. After reading the days several times, I can see it. I can't remember the specifics right now but there are things she has done that a Maple wouldn't do. That does freak me out, though. I trust her the most...but if she wins then she played well. You and Sammy, on the other hand, have been really Scummy. It's hard to trust you when you behave like Scum every time you post. Sue worries me too because she's the only player who hasn't talked to me by PM at all. But I agree with the analysis of her votes from Lassie and the stumps. God, I hope we got this right. May God have mercy on our souls. If Lassie and Sue are Scum, then I suck at this game. Stumps, that was n7019 SUXT Claudio. Not 2 OBVS. I hope we are all reunited in the winner's circle! My stomach is literally dropping as the day is ending. I so don't want to megabluck this up. Either way, it's been really fun. -

I meant to point that out as well. I would expect a certain reaction from Sammy about that too though I haven't had time to check if he's logged in yet or not. I'm so glad we cross-posted. You registered exactly zero surprise that Adelaide was planning a sting and is supposedly not the SK. I think that's the final nail in your coffin, buddy. Sorry. I still love you! Yours. Going straight to the thread instead of trying to find out more information. You sound like Jack. I don't want to risk a no-lynch so I'm inclined to leave the vote where it is and lynch Sammy tomorrow, if there is a tomorrow. That "I'm so glad we cross-posted" is directed at Sammy. -

If it is a performance, Adelaide's last response in PM is her best acting yet. Why do we play these games? It can be really taxing... -
Unrest in the Forest - Day 7: Permanent Waves
Hinckley replied to Walter Kovacs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'm having trouble accepting this at face value. Adelaide planned a sting to try to suds out Sammy and Sue. She was suspecting Sue of being Scum yet opted not to pursue that to concentrate on Sammy. Why? Her first reaction to me in private was that Sammy responded the war he thought any Oak would. But then considered that I was right about the timing. I have more thought about this strange event but I'm on the train and afraid I'll lose my signal. So, Adelaide accuses Sue all morning and votes for her. Then, when she realizes the collective conscience of the stumps is that Sue is SK and if there's another Scum, it's Sammy, he plans the sting operation. Considering their reactions, the sting seemed planned. Sammy's reaction is to run to the rescue which I've already analyzed as part of the whole production. His response is not Oaky to me at all. He says he's worried she would tell us he was interested and tell us and get him lynched. Vanilla townies need to be willing to take risks. His focus on his own neck is further suspect. And I trust Lassie most of anyone non-stumped but why does Adelaide? If he was a Townie trying to figure out the last Scum wouldn't he cover all bases? Again, if his main suspicion was Sue, why focus on Sammy? I know not everyone can have the tunnel vision I have, but it still pings me. Not because he changed his mind but because of our lack of seeing the thought process. Lastly, he has ominously told me that I need to use the vig kill tonight or "we" will lose. Then he fished for the existence of a protector or blocker. :screptic: Screptic... -

I do stand corrected. You do say you think she's the last Scum. The "unfortunately" and "only" are making my skin crawl a little. I just imagine Sammy the Oak asking for as many details as she could give before you went forward with any sort of opinion. Now that she's outed, you've lost the chance for her to feel safe and slip up more. -

Weren't you curious what her targets were? What her win conditions are? You seem to fully believe her. What if she's Scum trying one last gambit to avoid the lynch. I would imagine you would draw her out and see how she responded, unless you're somehow sure she isn't Scum. Did you and Adelaide forget that when you scripted this? Act One: stage a fake claim that Adelaide is the Serial Killer. Act Two: Have Sammy do the "Townie thing" and reveal her treachery. I need to start buying popcorn before I play this game. Did you switch your vote to Sue yet? -

What new claim? And why do I have to do everything? What are you going to do about it? Oh this? Hang on, I'll read it. I think the vig should stay home tonight. I never would've imagined a game with five players being so difficult to cinch up. I've had so much WIFOM I threw up. Did you say anything in return or did you put your Super-Oak cape on and fly right to our rescue? Stumps!!! What do you think of this new revelation? -

But why when everyone was having so much fun manipulating the means (the miller, Berty, etc.) He brought Barry's megablocks to Bruce, he parroted Hazel who may or may not have been Scum, why kill him when he was so valuable? He made an awesome mislynch, too. And maybe Waldorf is not naive. Maybe you are the Godfather or you got a lucky frame. If he could catch your buddies or investigate you again, I'm sure the best move would be to kill the Miller. You really want us to believe he was naive for some reason. You love the idea so much you're going to marry it! No, you. -

Because if you were going to kill him anyway, you had nothing to lose and the potential to build trust with me. If the Scum had a role cop then Lauren's daving was even worse. It would've given you a small pool to investigate and to kill. Freakin Lauren... Now n3610 SUXT n136 XESA!! -

I love that I didn't even need to look that up. I'm memorizing the code. So, I think n7019 already n4774 TRGT. XESA BKFR? Because n136 RIVM to n139: n136 n4209 and n139 n3372 so let's teach the World to sing n136 to n4244: n136 n3372, we n4774 n6609. ...what the hell is happening???? if n139 no SUXA n136 n4209 or n4244 no SUXT n136 n3372, then... everybody is megablocking Scum here? This has to mean something. Help me clear it up? Should I tell all of this to n3610? I feel like the only spectator in the most hilarious play ever. I'd like to discuss it in full English with someone. Because my interpretation: n136 XESA is for n7019 not for n139 and n4244.
