Lego Movie 70800: Wrong print on the hat
Laservampire replied to HDHell's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Now THAT'S making lemonade from lemons! -
AU$329 - OUCH!
-
Pure. Awesome.
-
Beautiful design, wish I could make stuff this good!
-
I really hope that with the price jump it means that the Simpsons CMFs (the bodies at least, I'm sure the heads are made in China) can be made to usual minifigure quality, not the cheaper and crappier looking Chinese made regular CMFs. I can't stand the washed out yellow hands on CMFs, and the general crummy feeling they have. I want my Springfield townspeople to match!

The other is on the air-conditioner next to Lisa's room I believe.

LEGO parts made of Chinese plastic?
Laservampire replied to Henchmen4Hire's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Or.... you could just not buy CMFs? There's plenty of non-chinese Lego out there to enjoy. -
Another interpretation:

That's fantastic man! Very nice design! I think I may even bricklink the parts to make my own for my desk :)

Jeez, the CMFs are already $4.99 here in Aus, I dread to think how much the Simpsons ones will be :-/

According to my Brickset: 20 (Plus the one in my girlfriend's Mini Modulars!) (Jeez, and a green one in my unopened Horizon Express)

Discussion LEGO Architecture Building Issues
Laservampire replied to Vee's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The Minecraft "micro-worlds" are also a pain with all of the 1x1 tiles. Actually quite a chore to build. -
Out of the entire Movie range, this set is the one I've been looking forward to most. The car looks like something out of Fifth Element! Now I've just gotta wait for these to be released in Australia... :(

REVIEW: 7715 Push-Along Passenger Steam Train
Laservampire replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I still have one of these sets in the cupboard, I got it as a present after the ear surgery I had when I was 5. My favorite Lego set for a very long time! -
LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
Laservampire replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Let's hope that along with the sandcrawler there are a ton more Episode IV sets! -
I'm very lucky in the fact that I have an AFOL girlfriend, a toy collecting best friend, a close AFOL friend and nerdy workmates. Even my boss (who can be a bit uptight at times) admitted that he loved building Star Wars Lego with his two young sons when he saw the 8092 Landspeeder on my desk.

I'm guessing they'd have skirts done like the CMF Bagpiper?

Quick check: LDD or real bricks?
Laservampire replied to Mataroa's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Also, LDD designs don't take into account what could be an overlooked fatal stability flaw in the design. I hit that problem when trying to build my first couple of LDD MOCs. -
I'd love to see Smithers, Principal Skinner, Barney and Willie
