    Historic themes have their own lovely thread all about sharing cool parts and sets that can be adopted and adapted to fit their theme. So here we are with our own thread. Ready to supply any budding adventurer! This thread is for sharing about parts, prints and sets that are currently available from 2021 onwards. (Of course if the thread lasts a long time, some sets and parts/prints might be retired in future). Any and all themes can be the source of useful parts and even sets that supply our thirst for Adventure! Build a Minifig, Pick a Brick and Bricks and Pieces tips are welcome. Remember: Adventure is out there!

    Another thing to consider is that plastic is a "living" product. So older plastic might be stiffer compared to new. Not so noticeable on standard brick, but a moving part is a different story.

    One to look out for! I like the new parts that arrive so we can build figures. Do we want a thread for Adventurer parts from Other Themes, like Historic Themes has?

    Ok, that helps. So for a power plant for a whole base would require a structure of its own; this makes me think of electrical substations and power cells. That could looks good on a base. Switch the blue core for the transparent green shades. Bleys and metallics for the housing.

    "I'm good to go wherever. Exploring places is interesting, part of why I joined Heroica!" Aysu watched the others, she wasn't sure why the cold was not too much of a bother for her. Maybe it was living in a ship for most of her life? Or maybe temperature changes didn't matter.

    Have you thought about building a power-cell type structure? creating an interesting cylinder or cube of technical printed parts and the trans-green parts? Or grill tiles etc. I mean, I can think of a lot of power plant designs for things, but what sort of structure of vehicle is it?

    On that note; some of my MOCs remain despite many years of new parts and colours. I could improve the build, but I call it a redux or a whole new MOC.

    Once my vision of the build is reached. I have a picture in my head of what I want it too look like, roughly at least. Think of it like still-locked videogame content back in the day; there is a silhouette or an outline and only once you win/achieve/reach the right level is the detail filled in. For my vehicles it is exactly like that: A shape and I hit that shape I want. Sure I might want to add a few stickers or swap a part or two for printed alternatives, but it is built. For a building, once it looks like the mental image I have, then I am happy with the build. I might change up how it is populated by figure on the regular though. So a castle tower would one time have two guards and a bird, but next time it is a cat and a staff person sweeping, then the next it is the King/Lord and a dog. The build is complete but the residents are ever-changing. Of course, there are A LOT of MOCs I create that are never 'polished' enough or cannot hit the mental image I had which get scrapped or re-worked until they are what I want to make. Then taking photos is a whole other thing...
