    Precisely this. There is still an element of luck involved in some series, the recent Marvel ones had quite a few Captain America shields with only a small variation in other parts between a few. so I know I pulled a Bucky, thinking it was a different figure. I wish I could get a whole box, but the LEGO store couldn't and Online restricts your purchases. As Series 2 of Vidiyo seems to not have been distributed to other stores. I am certain ASDA and B&M would happily sell me a whole unopened box for the cost of each individual figure, however they still only have Series 2. Forced exclusivity means these opened series 2 figures are now on sale for upwards of £30 elsewhere.

    That is an old one! There was a while when a member signed off with it and everyone started to copy it and all the staff got sick of arguments about "copying" or whatever "cringe" was called back in 2009... So we just put that into the censor. Keep on Bricking, right?

    No no, the Boxes that the Vidiyo figures come in. Bags are fine, I can find the ones I want quickly and easily. What I think is terrible is that the Series 2 figures that I can only get in the LEGO shop of their online store: I bought three boxes at £3.99 each and had a duplicate. I know that in the US market people seem to be dredging the CMFs for re-sale, so yeah I can see your point. But locally here, it is not bad at all for people just buying some, in moderation.

    I can't find anything else that LEGO produces that could match? Sometimes it is a little photoshop trickery that takes out the bits the builder does not want seen.

    I know right? I suppose I am somewhat shielded by the fact that I like to use my points to discount on big purchases I cannot be arsed to carry around for a day of shopping. (When I go to Cardiff, I am out for a day of retail therapy and hauling a massive set is not on the agenda). So far, the changes are naff as.

    I am looking now at my "to sort" pile and it is making me quite nervous. The beast grows and it has all of my purchases from the past two years. So I know parts will be in it, but I also have to hunt them down "old School" style!

    It is fascinating how different your perception of language can be depending on where/how/which first language you are raised on. I work with a lot of deaf guys and we communicate fine (A rough mixture of lip reading, written words and mime!) and one of my friends is deaf and we write notes back and forth (I am too dyspraxic to be any good at sign, unfortunately) I don't have any real hang ups about the use of the term Legos. But is still sounds weird to me. Then again, I live a few streets down the hill from the Indian Takeaway, so I say "I went Up the Indian for some curry." Someone else lives a few streets above, they "Went down the Indian for a curry." And that sounds strange!
