  1. Looks exactly how an Ice Planet build should! The shape is really good, looks both heavy and swift.
  2. Guys, guys. I started this so long ago. However I still have fun things to add! Owl House - Weird and fun, the last episode will arrive soon enough. LEGO and Owl House has created a Meme, so I know there is overlap here
  3. I miss the truly weird themes of yesteryear. Time Cruisers was just a mish mash of what themes existed at the time. Racers had the odd little Xalax characters and there were so many more niche little subthemes. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Ninjago and the numerous places City visits these days, but apart from Vidiyo, there hasn't been anything quite as random.
  4. Most recently I built The Goat Boat, set 76208. I liked a lot of the techniques to achieve the shape while maintaining a playable structure. It will probably end up being parted out as supplies for whatever project might demand Dark Tan in abundance but I think I will keep the goats as they are as they are nice little builds that remind me of, a much older than I care to recall, MOC (cripes, that was 11 years ago).
  5. Never enough colour! As an enjoyer of vibrant shades and bright trim, there needs to be more parts available in all stages of the colour spectrum.
  6. I did have a few of the smaller sets I do recall a childhood game that involved spaceships flying from my Adventurer Sphinx! On a tangent: Those were some cool helmets from that theme. I wonder if we will ever get a return in some form?
  7. My favourite theme for life is Adventurers! I was one of those kids obsessed with Egyptology and archaeology in general. I adored castle but couldn't get much of it and Exo Force was the theme that kept me into LEGO in my teen years. MOCing Spaceships and other SF builds too. Over time, I have continued to love Castle and Adventure themes, Regularly creating Spaceships. These days truly I love the left-field colourful sets; Vidiyo was expensive but innovative in characters and colours. I do enjoy Spaceship and Castle sets still. Most of my purchases are MOC supplies!
  8. So sad to hear about you losing your childhood collection to thieves. I hope you find EB an enjoyable place, Action and Adventure Themes seems to be exactly where you need to be
  9. The Barman is from Dino The Green Torso is from CMF Series 1 Forestman Both from much longer ago than I wanted to recall!
  10. https://bricksafe.com/ This is a popular site for many builders.
  11. I would easily book a flight on Tuesday and take a cabin! if anyone is planning on that. I have booked off the whole week and an extra day just gives me more time to chill out and enjoyy.
  12. This is excellently good! I love the truck bed sides and all those little details. Thanks for sharing.
  13. I have had very few entries. Please feel free to enter!
  14. I think we will have a pause on that request, if you happen to look at the first page you will find that you have made more than one name change and flip-flopped on it and got snappy at staff. As I mentioned before, name changes are not an on demand service. When there are useful reasons to change a name (To remove real name/location details or something distasteful) then requests can be made.
  15. I love to share a cabin with people and I have no preferred location to stay. However I am not able to take on the booking responsibility. (Also, being in the UK and all this Brexit stuff, not sure it would work out great!).
  16. As much as I enjoy Literary discussion, this is a LEGO platform! Also, show/series/TV media is not the LEGO sets. Feel free to set up something in Culture and Multimedia but leave this thread for the bricks. Cheers.
  17. Are chalet arrangements being planned? I am booking flights soon
  18. New CMF series has handy parts. The newsie boy cap and torso would be useful for adults and the whole figure fits a Mike or Short Round esque character. The Koala handler legs are useful too.
  19. The generic brands can supply parts in bulk with lots of colours for a super reasonable price. LEGO needs to work on it. Those were retailing at £12.99. On sale they are less than £10, they can't be manufactured for much less than LEGO bricks as the quality of the parts is pretty good (A lot nicer than the generics when I was a kid, or even only ten years ago when I sat upon my Clone Brand throne). The main issue with this generic brand is the set designs are not good and the figures are just weird (as TLG have the full rights to Minifigure design and will sue you to the stone age if anything so much as resembles their figures). Really and truly, the cost of random bricks from TLG is inflated to make LEGO the "premium" brand. Nothing more.
  20. Discussion of the 2023 sets can continue here. If anyone has posts they would like moved over, please bring them to my attention.
  21. Eh, I am sharing some random Youtuber's video, so posting it here seemed least likely to offend. It might be okay for General Discussion, so Mod powers activate...
  22. You have a Deep Sea Submarine https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=60092-1#T=S&O={"iconly":0}
  23. I love this channel and now there is a video for LEGO. EDIT: A video with a potted history of LEGO and a rundown on Bionicle. I have followed this channel a few years and there is plenty of interesting Toy and Cartoon related content. This is the first about LEGO though.
  24. Of course I will be attending!
