Yeah, I noticed a lot of "dead" or missing images, especially avatars and the like.

It isn't that hard or harmful to make a post saying "I like your MOC because:-----" or any sight of a room for improvement. Places with "likes" are not geared towards discussion so much as shallow adding of approval. While I agree that deeper or more estoric points are harder to share when the main language of the forum is not your own, the sort of surface touching that a "like" button would allow would not help with it. Even broken english can be used to approve of a MOC and what you like about it and be much more valuable than a tally or list with (possibly) a username attatched.

Oooh, orchids are pretty! Well, that set looks.... To be honest? That looks like what I would purchase as a parts pack when it is heavily discounted. While the boat looks amazing and is on my to-buy list this set simply offers a bunch of parts that will be useful to own. So, any more hi-res pictures to see, oh master of the new images?

Ok, so the parts you posted first look like disassembled vintage hinge parts. Your second post is simply clone parts from a not very compatible brand. The scales are off, they do not match up with LEGO and those freaky dogs look like any number of little plastic toy. Now, on to my own question: My Father is determined that once-upon-a-time LEGO had individual tiles for rooves, not sloped bricks but actual honest to fiddly hard to place tiles (this is often part of an "In my day LEGO was harder to do and had less-blahahahahblahah" rant) I have looked, searched, checked and poured over every resource (including the actual lego house tour in Billund!) and not come across these mythical place in place roof tiles. (I would dismiss it as Dad being 'ornery but Mum agrees there was something like that around) I think it was a clone brand or completely different toy he is thinking of but that gets down a road of "Are you calling your grandmother a liar?" and I have to back off. So, has anyone come across such things anywhere?

I would QM one day but me and maths do not get on.
