  1. Well, I have picked up a Kre-o mini plane set for £1 in Poundland. It was a cute little plane and has some nicely printed parts. I can replicate it in LEGO (pretty much) and it comes with three little guns and a printed helmet that reasonably fits a Minifig (only if they have a hollow head stud). For a pound it was a great little buy. Also, the tiny figures make great action figures or toys for Minifigs.
  2. Who said you couldn't mix themes? With some excellent Castle and Space building, PaddyBricksplitter brings something a little different to the usual build. Take a look in SciFi.
  3. As such, I'm locking this.
  4. There may be a service that can make it appear as if you are accessing the 4 on demand site from the UK. Not that I am suggesting something so not entirely legal as that.
  5. Also manufacture in China has allowed the more complex, detailed and curved surface printing that means some fantastic looking figure parts.
  6. The age of those tyres also makes them very brittle. I own some and I try to keep them on the correct wheels, the red ones that are part of a full assembly. Even swapping with the more modern wheels with the same diameter as the old red ones is a risk.
  7. I think that there is more of an audience in Special Themes, so I'll move it over there
  8. A little more information would be helpful. What sort of LEGO theme is the idea? Would the root of the idea fall under an existing LEGO theme "box" (Historic, Space, Town etc). For instance, one member has created his own theme called Dragon Lands. The subject matter of the theme lends itself to Historic, so all MOCs and related threads go into Historic Themes. I have a few MOCs that were a new Adventure "theme" with characters I invented myself, that goes in Action and Adventure as it is in the same "box" as Pharaoh's Quest etc. As for lack of answers: Some people are just as unsure of what to say and Staff are busy; the thread title doesn't flag itself to me but I noticed you had made a reply to your own thread and took a look. It might be a case of using a more effective title next time, members and staff will take a look if they think they can assist if they know what they are looking at. Or using the Help thread for similar questions as it is immediately noticeable.
  9. Channel 4 doesn't do bad documentaries anyway.... I'll probably have a watch.
  10. You also have to consider that Warner Bros owns a stake in the IP too. Make it a little more generic cat-with-a-unicorn-horn and it is probably safe.
  11. I had some post yesterday very interesting contents. I'll be driving over after lunch. Prepping the car and such now.

  13. Ag, sorry guys, my photo session was majorly rained off. I might get something done tomorrow, but I am sort of working up to the EB event. I hope to be a contributing member soon!
  14. "Maintain ranks. A heal would be helpful." Tesni felt dizzy but berserker rage did its work. Same battle order
  15. Tetley's please. I can drive on a pint, no fear.

  17. Sorry guys, Octan is my favourite LEGO constant and I love the colour scheme. It was always going to be
  18. Hi, while this is Ninjago's subforum home, videogames go in Culture and Multimedia. I'll move it over there.
  19. Salutations groundpounders! Chrysanthemum "Pep" Cade Pilot First Class reporting for duty with Octan corporation! The hair colour might not be regulation but it is a side effect from extended Sus-Am so not a disciplinary matter! 100x100 Headshot for the sigline. As required.
  20. "Alright then. Are you sure you can't, I don't know... Dominate those golems or whatever with magical hooju or what have you?"
  21. 'kay. It sounds like doing London with a fussy eating vegetarian means I have missed a lot... It also doesn't help that my friend who loves London and their local friend are unable to eat meat too... Peppy likes meat! Also, Sorry Doc! Got confused. First week in a new job so I am a little about the place in the head!
  22. There are a number of resources and tutorials to help you resize images in a variety of software packages. The tutorials link in my signature (and the words there are also a link) have a few that should be helpful. Also, there is a pinned thread for requests for help just at the top of this forum. Once you have acknowledged this post I or another staff member will merge it with the main thread.
  23. Ooh. I love London. Orbital Comics, Forbidden Planet, pubs and beers! That means I'll have a more leisurely arrival by car on Wednesday, skipping a trip into the city. Do we need € cash or would a transfer be preferable? Excitement!
  24. There's going to be a hard reset for the movie and the sets will match up to the new direction it takes. Or even a retread come the fact that a whole new audience of children will be around to eat it up. No one wants to recall years of TV show these days. I don't know, it is all guessing games right now.
  25. First: This is a forum not a message board,so full words please. It is in the guidelines. Second: So much of what I buy is just for parts that maybe 90% of my purchases last year were immediately parted out for MOCs. I file the instructions and the sticker sheet, then I part the lot.
