  1. I build my own things. I do get sets with good designs or in a theme that interests me, but all are destined to be parted out to supply my designs.
  2. I know you must really love Chima and be disappointed by its end, but this thread seems to be mostly you asking for ideas and bumping when none come. Maybe you could try making a few things to share with everyone instead of asking? This thread really is not going anywhere productive. I'm sorry, but I'll have to lock it.
  3. Thanks, merging now...
  4. Yes, if you could just acknowledge, then I can merge this. I was about to go ahead and do it, but I noticed your signature line.
  5. Clicky for 3000pxl. Hope this helps. There are a lot more parts (duplicates) than that, all figures had a belt and all but two have vests of one type or the other (The two grey are one, the two brown are the other) I got a front and back view of the belts. This is missing out the two tripod mounted guns and all the repeats. A few are duplicated more than twice and there are a lot of the more modern looking pistol, tactical knives, grenades and radios. Also, the radio will slide into a gap on the grey type tactical vest.
  6. You're not your, if you're American or British, you are becomes you're.
  7. So, my Kazi SWAT CSF team arrived today https://www.aliexpress.com/item/16pcs-lot-Kazi-98508-GBL-SWAT-CSF-Team-Leader-Military-Equipment-Counter-terrorism-Raid-Army-Building/32711208095.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.0.AXGmA4 I have now got about as many guns as an average CoD game. Fantastic moulding on those and the sixteen utility belts and vests are excellent. The figures vary and there is a slight grip issue with how the legs fit into the torso but for $13 dollars for a fortress worth of guns, varied helmets/caps/hair and accessories that LEGO will never make... I'm fine with the handful of problems. In a few days I will have a full gun count. Please be aware though that it goes for me: BFG, Boomstick, Shooter and Pistol with a nod to Sniper. (I am super knowledgeable when it come to guns ).So I will tally like that. As it goes, it is a good set if you want to make a sort of online team combat diorama as each colour scheme has four figures.
  8. But it still gives me an early morning chuckle when I log in and check if I won.
  9. You can just copy/paste the image itself if it has the right extension. I'll try and fix this for you. EDIT: And yes, those look really cool
  10. Have you tried looking at sites like Bricklink for the parts list? 7048 and 7781 have a full list of parts that will tell you what angle/contour the parts have. Or help you match up what you need.
  11. My ideal time in the snow has always been sledding. Whenever it does actually snow here then we all hurry to the park or school to sled down the hills.
  12. Looks like some Oxford or Sluban parts there. Orange fireman hats are a giveaway. Though, there are some neat mid to late 90s figures in there.
  13. So time for a Westward Journey! Our Sun Wukong the Monkey King! Both in his kingley and monkey looks. Great printing, nice moulding on the accessories and decent colours to print and plastic. While it is sharp, there are a few misalignments but limited smudging. His monkey friend. Sharp printing, few issues there. Plastic is okay and I love the sword and armour. One thing to mention about the sword: All the silver accessories came on sprues, there was always more than one weapon there so plenty of extras and repeats on the two different silver sprues that came in these sets. The Princess/Goddess? And a man who came with a a lotus...My knowledge of the story and the other traditional sources is very limited and mixed with both pop-culture jokes and "westernisation" of the original stories. Anyway. The Friends style minidoll has great printing a a nice skirt I can't match with any TLG sources. It is good to have a varied face print also. The jacket is a separate piece and fits nicely, though it forces her to stand a little bent at the middle. I am unsure about the hair, it is softer rubber/plastic but doesn't fit the best. The hammer is hollow on the underside. The Lotus man has no printing under the bodywear and you can see the little issues around the collar. The beard is a distinct part and the little bud crown comes off too. Altogether okay. The turtleman! AGain, decent printing without too many issues. I love the unique shell and head. The shell does come off. The moulding is high quality too. I love this figure almost as much as the monkeys. Two water goons. Not bad, not much that is exciting. Though the print on the second one is nice. The first one has armour you construct, which is staying together mostly. I am taking a wild guess that this a bad guy. I love the whole ook. You can see the print is detailed and sharp from those chains on his legs. The cape didn't feel like either of the LEGO capes out there, but it seemed sturdy enough. This guy has one of the other good swords and another look at the buildable armour. The chest plate has some print issues. Though, the claw arm is great, it hasn't got any articulation but I love it. Our guy here has shorter legs that are one solid piece. The top part overlaps the torso and it looks like an alright skirt. The armour is separate to his head, as is the crown. Everything else of the head is moulded. The least minifigure like of all the figure heads. Some print problems but alright mostly. The most boring of the lot. No printing problems and a decent monster face. That's about all there is to him. All together these were pretty good and for $13 it was an excellent price. I love the monkey figures and the turtle. The extra weapons are a great bonus. The parts that came to make them little display scenes were not as bright as LEGO, but crisp moulding and a near colour match means my sister is going to pinch her choices to expand her small Elves/Friends parts mix. Also, as requested: Ezra here playing the part of an original Planet of the Apes ape, his outfit meant I couldn't resist displaying how well the monkey headgear fits onto LEGO figures. So, after this, if there are more part combination requests or printed torso extras people want: Feel free to ask.
  14. The winners are minoton and darkdragon! I used a random name picker to get the results. If the winners could PM their address and preference for Krusty or Bart.
  15. That is perfect! Those make great Doom Patrol uniforms, heck, you could make Negative Man too.
  16. However anyone can help if needs be.
  17. It also comes as a bonus gift this month at one of the UK supermarkets. Tesco I think... Each of the "main" supermarkets seem to have the usual promotional item on the magazine and one extra. Sainsbury's had the Ash Attacker figure alongside the advertised Mini-mech.
  18. I'm going to add a little here! It was so much fun to go there and great to meet up with friends to do so. The space, the decor and the variety of sets available were wonderful. Also, as I traipsed around London after the event when we'd all gone our separate ways, many a small child was excited to spot a LEGO branded shopping bag.
  19. Guys, those batsuits (Not the Arkham one) are from the LEGO Batman Movie sets. Recall that this thread is allowed because it focuses on the actual unique figures, not the bootlegs.
  20. By the by, I'll have to share this mod with my little brother, he loves dragons and Cole and this is an excellent solution that he can use.
  21. Also, if he cared to read the thread, all his points were put in a much more articulate manner, actual years ago. Please be aware Selfesaif, I'll be keeping an eye on posting maturity levels.
  22. Not a historic theme though, I'll just move this across.
  23. I got a set of Kazi SWAT Force army figures. A good mix of cam prints and gear to be getting on with. Working on photos of the Westward Journey figures, lost my battery charger for the camera!
  24. Now those are nice! Will have to keep a look out.
  25. Some of them make me think of this: In a good way. Heh
