  1. Great review Kim. And fun to read. Love your sense of humor
  2. OK, no problem. And perhaps I forgot to say: Welcome to the LDD Forum!ยจ (PS: English is not my native language either, but capitalizing sentences is language independant (I think at least))
  3. Hm, can you refresh my mind on this one. Where exactly (which colors) was it that you saw the problem? Regarding bugfix releases, I guess you're right about faster updating. However, as always, the answer I get when asking is that LU Mode is released to fans "as-is" and is not an officially supported version. Besides, the hole setup is pretty much lined up in the interview published here a few months ago. It explains in detail how the LDD team work and what we can expect. Having said that, I'm really looking forward to a bug-fix update as well, whenever it arrives
  4. Good work on the models. A few things I'd like to point out (so you get a chance to fix them before Calabar arrives ): 1) When you update a post, make sure to edit/update the original post - please don't make a second post like you've done now. 2) The pre-view images are a bit small. 3) About hosting: If you are going to share LXF-files too you need to setup a BrickShelf account - this way you can post both your pics and lxf-files on the same place. 4) I would appreciate if you capitalize sentences. It may seems like a minor thing, but this is and AFOL site, so we do expect at least that level. 5) Good that you added an error-list. But please avoid putting in more minifigs then are in the actual set. Please edit your post with these changes. (PS: I'll remove your first post, just to keep the topic clean ).
  5. Yepp, that's the way it is sometimes
  6. Excellent work marco9999 I seems you've recreated the missing 64651 and 64645 really well. I haven't done any in-depth checks, but I do belive the parts 2560 and 47404 actually exist in LDD, so you might want to update your models with those.
  7. Ah, thanks for clearing that out
  8. I tried with a physcial 30140 and 4444, and that lip of the 30140 is actually thicker and it wouldn't allow a brick to fit under. However, the 4444 did fit (but just - hard to tell if it puts stress on the elements - might be that that it's actually illegal even though it works in LDD). I tried to build the Troll Warship bow, and you are right, the collision boxes on the the bow are incorrect.
  9. Are you sure about 30140. I just can't see how a stud would fit up against the flat surface. The bow sure does have a collision volume problem. Good find. I also noticed that if you take 1x2 plate and position it on the center pin at 90 degrees on the foremost of the tree studs, it will (incorrectly) connect. PS: Has the technique with the 53452 bow ever been used in an official set?
  10. No prob. Thanks for the effort. What unavailable parts are there except for the two bow pieces?
  11. Well, that is intersting. That seems to indicate that all bricks can indeed be shown, i.e. there is no memory limit.
  12. Hi Welcome to the forum. Before going on to your question, please be aware that this is an AFOL forum (Adult Fan of Lego), which means that we expect a certain level of writing, e.g. capitalize sentences, one question mark is enough, writing out words (ty = thank you) etc. So please put a bit more effort in to this before posting, OK? Now, regarding your question, the author of the decompile code decided to remove it, since it was in violation of the TLG EULA (End User License Agreement). So at the moment there is no way to un-pack the assets.lif (I guess he didn't want the mean TLG lawyers breathing down his neck)
  13. Decoration tool you say. Wow, I never heard that causing problems before. I'm not a graphics expert, but could it something with loading a bitmap into graphics card memory. Maybe someone here on the forum with better skills knows? A question in the meantime; have you updated your grapics card drivers to the latest (accoring to the first post in this topic)?
  14. 59900 was known, but the sword 60752 was new.
  15. Thanks for the insights Bojan! Still, I guess there is some memory management issue in LDD that does not show the user a warning message in this case?
  16. Brickwild. Copying another builders work without due credit is not looked upon with keen eyes in the AFOL community. Giving due credit is about normal common sense. If you make a copy, you must make sure that you write who's the original designer.
  17. It's created at the time of saving the model. So as far as I understand, the model was saved correctly the last time (at least the image was created correctly). It might actually be that we have a bug here that puts LDD in a "non defined state" of some kind. Note for example that if you place a brick on the grid after the file has finished loading, they simply dissapear.
  18. At the moment its LDD because I needed Calabar. What will happen in the other forums, only the future can tell.
  19. I'll talk to Calabar and see what he says about these kind of sets. They aren't official sets sold as physcial models, but the designs are somehow official TLG.
