  1. @jgrahl: discussion moved to a separate topic.
  2. ...and latest DirectX, just to be certain....
  3. Sign up for the 2nd LDD Community Build The second ever LDD RCB (Relay Community Build) will shortly start up here at EB, coordinated by Brickdoctor. This time it's in the theme of "Medieval Market Street". If you want to join, head on over here to sign up (after reading the rules that is).
  4. Hi and welcome to the LDD Forum. There is a tool for the PC that will generate a part list called LDD Manager. You can check it out here. However, there is to my knowledge nothing for the MAC at the moment (unless you run a virtual PC on your Mac). Then two other order related stuff you should know about: 1) Please take some time to look around the forum before posting, as this was not the right topic to post your question. 2) When you post, please use capital letters in the beginning of sentences. This is an AFOL community so we expect at least that level. Thanks.
  5. Hi there. Glad you enjoy LU Mode Regarding your question, no there is no way to import or create your own elements in LDD. In this interview the LDD Manager explains a bit about this. Perhaps some of the older elemenets will show up in LDD one day, but there's no telling when and if. What people have done in the meantime is to create custom parts that mimic the old. Have a look here .
  6. Got to agree with the former speaker - you are doing a great job Andy
  7. Well, if it's not there I can't help you, sorry.
  8. Maybe I'm way out here, but are you talking about this topic, where some hidden decorations could be used? This is BTW not in breach of the EULA, since the additional decorations are "unlocked" by simply editing a LXF-file (not hacking any of the binary files).
  9. Good entries Will! May I please ask that you for the future reduce the size of the pictures in your post. There a bit massive at the moment
  10. New LDD MOC Index KielDaMan is doing a bit of a side job over at the LDD forum, where he's maintaining the new LDD MOC index. If you are into LDD, need inspiration or just want to have a look at some cool MOCs, head on over there pronto.
  11. Thanks prateek! Well, I haven't thought more about it. But as usual, if anyone feels like throwing an idea on the table, it'd be fun to hear about it!
  12. That one was reported here a few weeks ago, and I sent it to TLG. So I guess now it's at some poor 3D-designers to-do list in Billund waiting to be fixed.
  13. You need to make the LXF-file available. I described how in your other post, so check it out. Once you've done that, I'm sure someone here can help you out.
  14. Hi Welcome to the LDD forum. This was certainly and old and sleepy topic you revied To post LXF-files, you need to create an account at Brickshelf.com, and then link from there to your post. You can also upload smaller files directly in your post, but then you need to rename from .lxf to .zip first. PM you cannot do until you get at least 10 posts.
  15. I noticed that if you open the top of the throne, place the chest, and then close - the chest will fit. However, when you open the file next time, the chest lid is removed. I.e. a bug that will be reported faster then you can say LDD.
  16. No worries Brickdoctor - it wasn't my intention to put you in a tight spot, rather to be respectful to Zeya. I don't think it would be necessary to use only DbM bricks. However, the bricks would still have to be in production (be in a set no older then 2008) it would be OK. But then again, this is all dreaming anyway, right
  17. Zeya, I'm not sure if you wanted to coordinate a RCB (Relay Community Buil) or just wanted to bring up the topic. Anyway, Brickdoctor has PM:ed me and made a finished propsal, and there no way to stop him now I hope it's OK that Brickdoctor will then run the next RCB. Zblj, I must say I like the idea of making a street scene, were each builder makes one pre-decided house or part. It's not the same as building on-top of the previous builder, but it is a very interesting flavour. The coolest thing would be if we could work something out with TLG, where we can be sponsored to build the finished LDD MOC with real ABS. Maybe it could be something that TLG could find interesting as part of some drive with "new, innovative ways to combine physical and digital bricks in a co-operative build" or something like that. Maybe something to exhibit at Legoworld sometime in the future.
  18. Great to hear you bringing the idea up Zeya! And I think we learned from the last time that there needs to be someone who is supervising the build, maintaining the sign-up list, etc. And I suppose that person will ultimately decide the rules and the scope of that build So whoever wants to step up to the plate, go for it! All I ask you to do before you launch the build it to let me know (PM me). Just to make sure we don't start two builds at the same time, or there is some event, contest or so coming up.
  19. OK, gottcha. I think . Naturally it will save the current view when you save the model, but I guess that's not what you mean. In LDD Manager, I actually included a function so you can create a model and explicitly set camera-model distance. Kind of meaningsless feature I know, but it was the first subfunction needed to autogenerate multiple screenshots to create a "fly by" of a model (using stop motion). However, I haven't come any further, but for someone with programmer skills it shouldn't be difficult to make a stop motion tool, even with movements within the model (like minifigs walking).
  20. Hey KDM - like your new signature
  21. Great collection of MOCs. Well done! And thanks for sharing!
  22. You all did great little MOCs, so I made a draw, and the winner this time was AndyC. Andy, PM me your adress and I'll pop something small over in the mail.
