Another excellent build with excellent presentation. Love the mini fig posing and the incidental details, and yes I do want more Gothic arches!- 30 replies

Bow down before your newest overlord: Bob De Quatre
robuko replied to Si-MOCs's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
We are not worthy. Congratulations Bob! And thank you, -
A very nice sea worthy vessel. The stern is a little too square, but the rigging is very appealing. Good Build!

Political genius, and a great set too if we get the Dino skeleton. Congratulations to the winner! Hoping for some cool exclusive mini figures in this one.

I like the car although I prefer the rear treatment on Stephen Marshall's model. I am absolutely loving this as a dark green parts pack. Must buy, maybe even 2.

Just back from the semi annual scrum of set launches at TRU HK. It gets pretty hectic as its full of scalpers bulk buying to real in China. Ultra agents absolutely flying off the shelves, all sold out in 5 minutes. Problem compounded by TRU making this the big H2 launch but not carrying much inventory. I think TRU expected to sell a lot of super heroes and Chima but they were sticking to the shelves. 6 months ago nothing was selling out, 12 months ago was all about super heroes, and 18 months ago the hit was ninja go. So my conclusion is, there is a potential hit line here. I love the truck concept but it would be a lot cooler if the cab was a giant transforming robot

Welcome Benjamin! The price in Hong Kong is much more reasonable, if you have any chance to visit.

Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion

I'm pretty sure there is one, there are some very good and active Korean builders who exhibit together. I'm afraid I don't have any details though. -
Book II - Nocturnus: Guild sign-up and Discussion

^Yes of course. You control the action! Welcome to Nocturnus! -
Tough one! I think Gideon's build is absolutely outstanding, and Mike's is the laugh-your-turban-off funniest. I am voting for Kai's though as my favourite, because it is so imaginative. Really good entries all!

Newb Question - Regarding Black Falcon use in Historica.
robuko replied to DungeonsAndFlagons's topic in Guilds of Historica
I have used the black falcons a few times in Kali. I always use them as legendary warriors of times long past (eg classic smiley yellows), because of the "when men of the falcon fought men of the lion" line in the introduction to all the guilds. We certainly don't make it compulsory to build desert, we have swamps, grasslands, mountains, jungles, caves, rocky coasts and all you can imagine. I strongly recommend you to join any of the guilds. -
Very nice build and beautiful editing. I worry about what will happen to your crew though. Those Kaliphlin boats are a lot tougher than they look.

Classic space, no question. I barely owned any other sets. So much playability in even the smallest sets, much enhanced by the alternate builds on the box.

Very nice build, and great presentation too. It's very hard to photograph white on white but your moc stands out nicely. Very powerful.- 17 replies

(Completed) Call to Arms! Battle of The Wither Woods (And LDD Ch
robuko replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
Sure, take your pick. I thought you should have some healers, with all of that black magic fighting at Petera's side. I chose Dugal firstly from loyalty, and I felt a bit bad that I had missed the whole resurrection storyline, which was awesome.- 318 replies

Absolutely amazing Gabe! Beautiful shaping on the bow and stern, especially the stern castle. Your water is spectacular too. You have used colours very well, and the level of detail is superb. +1 all claims. It's almost enough to get me to build another ship I expected something a bit different for the motorised waves, like a crankshaft system. What have you used here? I have a nice idea for the water, which I might try out as a micro.
