  1. No, that is not what I said. I said it was worth it to me at 1/3 the price, which was about €50 at the time (Euro was much weaker than it is now). Sticker price for the set now is about €180 (1599 NOK) which I think is horrendously overpriced. Even at 50% off / €90 I'm not rushing out to buy another set.
  2. You know, it is possible to disagree with you and still be serious...
  3. I kinda like 10215, but it is probably one of the most horrendously overpriced sets ever (IMO). It was worth it at 1/3rd the price. I think they still have one at 50% off at the local shop, a bit worn from such a long life at the shelf.
  4. For me a PT UCS set would have to be really exceptional to be of any interest. I would much rather see something from Cloud City, or a new Falcon/Star Destroyer/Snowspeeder.
  5. Okay seriously... I ordered the T-16, a battlepack and a microfighter to get Yularen. Received them today. In two boxes. One small box with the sets, and a larger box with just the poster!
  6. It was there last year too, and the year before. I think it has been on every single promotion since I came out of my dark ages 2+ years ago. I think chances are very good to get multiples, BUT as Darth Dino said it might be wise to space your orders. My own success rate with getting multiples is 100%, even when placing orders on the same day. I am sure the success rate will plummet once there is a promotion I'm really keen on getting multiples of though...
  7. The 1 per household is not usually enforced in my experience.
  8. It said new poster each month... somewhere. The OT posters are actually quite cool, almost softens the sting of buying crappy overpriced sets to get Yularen. Almost. Edit: Typo
  9. Great LEGO room! I love that Classic Space illustration!
  10. You can post the images as private on Flickr, they will not show up for other users, but it will work linking them directly. Trying to use BBCode to resize the image is a bad idea since the huge original will be downloaded and then only shown in a smaller size on the screen.
  11. Agree 100%. The Stormtrooper is the most iconic LEGO SW minifig, and they even got it right with an excellent figure from the start. This rebel version is just... What annoys me the most is that no one would have complained if they had used the latest regular Stormtrooper... why fix it if it isn't broken?
  12. Woot! I received mine today! Quite a bit quicker than expected since I was in group D which were supposed to go out today! Thank you CopMike!
  13. Thank you! Looking forward to some raffle-goodness!
  14. Very nice work! Love the pig above the door!
  15. That looks great Bob! I will need some time to fully absorb the awesomeness of this build!
  16. That Luke figure looks horrendous... Vader is a bit better but still... Hopefully some better pics of the figures from the Tyderium will show up. Those Rebel Troopers looks like they are new / in olive green? Is there a regular Stormtrooper in the advent calendar too? Maybe it will actually be worthwhile this year.
  17. Not really blown away by this one, don't think I'll pick one up at full price. I agree about the inside of the wings, and the overfall feel is that this is not up to UCS standards. I'm probably more tempted to track down a B-Wing than spend my money on this.
  18. Personally I would love to see some huge sets coming out of Ideas, but I don't think it's gonna happen. I don't think the museum stands a chance, but I would be pleasantly surprised if it did. At this point I think Ideas should just change their rules to set an approx 1000 piece limit on entries. They don't need suggestions on what the next modular should be, or which SW (or other) huge UCS set to make. Don't get me wrong, I think the Sandcrawler, AT-AT and HeliCarrier are fantastic MOC's which I would love to have on display, I just can't picture LEGO producing an ideas set which is "Build a huge version of xxx", where xxx i something they already made a set out of. I also think that we as a LEGO community should try to shake the "That is a cool MOC, you should put it on Ideas" notion that pops up all the time. Sometimes a great MOC is just a great MOC, and not a great idea for Ideas. (And I guess this post will be misinterpreted as an attack on a lot of suggestions on Ideas, so I'll go ahead and put my flame suit on in advance. )
  19. Haha, nice!
  20. Excellent work, this is a great looking vignette!
  21. The new CMF Snake charmer face reminded me of Poirot, which resulted in this: The fireplace is from Poirot's appartment in the TV series, see below for original image.
  22. They do look familiar, since they both are Lego representations of the same car. The builds are plenty different.
  23. Hmm, yeah. I like the minifigures, but I think this will be a pass for me. Not that I dislike it, just not very excited about it.
  24. That shuttle looks pretty good I think, and the Final Duel looks ok. Will probably end up with these at some point, even though it's only a few of the minifigs I'm really after (new Vader, new Han and possibly new Leia). If only they could do something like the Final Duel set with a scene from Cloud City to give us some new figs (Lando, Luke & Leia)...
  25. These sets & figs looks pretty cool! Might have to pick up this theme.
