Almost forgot, I would like that sweet new Boba tag!

Good job rebels, order has been restored! Congrats to Ninja Nin & Beaver for taking the top slots, and thanks to all who participated... ... and apologies to all those with great builds I didn't get around to comment on, still embarrassed by that...

Really great work!

I think a lot of the latest minifigs looks great, although there are a few that may be a bit over the top. After seeing the licensed/flesh heads the yellow heads don't do it for me any more unfortunately, the flesh heads just looks so much more appealing in mocs. Some examples of great new figs: All three from the latest B-Wing, Biths, Greedo, Imperial crew, Imperial officer Luke's new face is a bit over the top but I still prefer a new print since I got plenty of the old ones. C-3PO, don't like the leg print, looks too busy... still I got a bunch of older ones so no problem Owen Lars has a bit too much detail in the face when looking at the high-res photos, but in real life it's not too bothersome The new(er) X-Wing & Snowspeeder pilots looks great with leg prints compared to the old ones, and the latest A & B wing pilots are excellent too compared to the old ones. In general, for all the main characters I don't mind if they update the figs from set to set. I don't need 10 identical Luke/Han/Indy/Gimli figs, better with some variety. As for the typical army builder figs, I agree that they shouldn't be messed with too often. I prefer the Stormtroopers without leg prints, but the torso changes don't bother me too much (and I can live with the leg prints). The new Rebels style print on the Stormtrooper helmet is awful though, I really hate it... To me the Stormtrooper fig really defines Lego SW and it is very sad to see it (IMO) destroyed to no benefit. No one would have complained if they had used the regular helmets. Oh well... maybe in 2022 there will be another Stromtrooper BP that will be better.

My unique acylic minifigure display mounts
LegoFjotten replied to Wayno's topic in General LEGO Discussion
These looks very nice! I made one myself last year and it was a bit of a hassle to get things lined up properly... might end up ordering a few of these. -
I think it's this one, not new: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=62885

That figure & Slave 1 both looks awesome! Just a shame we have to wait so long for the Slave 1, we can only hope there is a VIP promotion so we can get it before christmas.

Fantastic work, love it!

Thank you for hosting MKJoshA, great work! And a lot of entries... I will have to look through them all, I feel guilty for not commenting more throughout the episode - so many cool builds!
-
I agree that the entry is missing some Star Wars feel (which surely would have had a big impact on the score had it not been disqualified). The disqualification however, I think was pretty harsh since the update of the build was (at least to me) clearly a response to the criticism and not an attempt to cheat - which I am 100% certain that Dapper-D2 did not attempt to do. Edit: MKJoshA's response was posted while I typed this, so I just want to add that I respect the jury's decision even though I don't agree with it - I am not looking to prolong the discussion.

[SoNE Episode VI] Playing the odds on Ord Mantell
LegoFjotten replied to LegoFjotten's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
I'd have to disagree based on what it says on the Wookiepedia: "Ord Mantell's continent of Worlport boasted a sprawl of cities along its southern shore and it is this part of Ord Mantell that many spacers regarded as a safeport, famous for casinos and for tourists, of which it attracted almost one billion annually." http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Ord_Mantell and: "Looks a lot like Mos Eisley on Tatooine, Han ! Only bigger... And not as hot !" http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Worlport -

[SoNE Episode VI] Playing the odds on Ord Mantell
LegoFjotten replied to LegoFjotten's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Not familiar with Worlport on Ord Mantell, eh? -
Donnie: When you said we were heading to Ord Mantell I pictured us trekking through endless junkyards... Good call on checking the casino too! LegoFjotten: Yeah, I figured odds are Boba Fett is just as likely to show up here as in some random junkyard. Let's hang around a few hours and see if he shows up. Of course we will need to blend in, so let's get started on one of the tables. Donnie: Good thinking! The band is pretty good too... LegoFjotten: ...and check out that dancer. Youwza! Donnie: I gotta say... bringing the wookie was sheer brilliance... a sure way to beat the odds! Chewbacca: RAWRGWAWGGR Boba Fett: Yikes! I know that wookie, better get the heck out of here...

Hi Dapper, did you check if that size base layout is allowed? Not sure if it's strict 16x16 max or if alternate layouts are ok.

[SoNE Ep. VI] Part 4. Mon Calamari : Non-lethal Takedown
LegoFjotten replied to Ninja Nin's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Very nice work Ninja Nin! -
Shortly after landing on Mon Calamari I made my way over to the chief of landing deck. If Boba Fett was here, he would know. Me: I'm looking for a bounty hunter named Boba Fett Chief: Hmm, Boba Fett, that doesn't ring any bells. I'm pretty sure he hasn't been here. Me: Another dead-end (sigh). I guess I'll be on my way then. Chief: Hey, since you are already here, why don't you try one of our fishing trips? They are very popular! Me: Fishing? What kind of fish do you have here? Chief: Red herrings, mostly red herrings.

[SoNE Ep. VI] One Flew over the...uh...Junkyard Shop
LegoFjotten replied to Covi's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Nice work Covi! -
If they can put Leia in the Y-Wing set and Han & Ackbar in an A-Wing set I think they could they could put a Stormtrooper in pretty much any OT set they make!
-
Crossing my fingers we will get OT style stormies, but I fear the worst... The Shadow troopers looks cool. Yay for a new Tusken! Apart from that nothing really stands out to me, the minifigures will likely decide what I will get. Will be interesting to see final pictures.

Just a post so everyone have a chance to see the deadline was extended. For important information it is better with a new post than an edit... I just noticed by chance since the thread came up as read for me.
