More the Hobbit sets after wave three??? Hope so, although the instruction book's last page (I believe) says that "the journey concludes in 2014". Are they referring to the movie? Or to the sets?

Thanks. I thought as it is Mitgardia and snow is everywhere, it would look cool. It does in real life, but on this pic it looks weird.

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Alfadas replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Yeah, there is a Mitgardian contest, link here There is also a contest for all guilds, but that one just ended (If I am correct). Within the next month a new one should be online. And here is a link to a free build. http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=90913 And here is a link to walls phase lll. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=90911 -
Diary of Alfadas I have sent two men to the north a few weeks ago. They didn't know of my plans. I hope they did their job well. I want to build a town there, but offcourse you knew that already. Now I am going to the North with one of my men. Today we were ambushed by a few Cyclopses, and they cut off one of my legs. Stupid Cyclops. I cut off his head. Then I saw the captain, or I think he was, he was wearing a cape, the others didn't. He walked towards me and raised his axe. "This is it, now I die", I thought. Then the soldier I brought with me woke up from his blow to the head. He run to the Cyclops captain and killed him. So we now can continue our journey. My soldier, Olaf, cut down a tree and made me a wooden leg. Now I look like one of those pirates from the stories. The pain is bearable. That was the story, now the pics we all have been waiting for: Yeah, I know, I look like a little girl crying there, but hey, I just got my leg cut of. You would cry and curse and scream too. I know what they say about me, that I don't see danger when I meet him, and it is true. I thought I could easily kill them. You know what happened next. That is it. To be continued.... EDIT: Here I am with my new leg.

AoM - Tower phase lll - far in the cold north
Alfadas replied to Alfadas's topic in Guilds of Historica
Thanks both of you! For the lighting, I don't have a lamp or anything to hang above it, and I don't like taking the MOCs down two staircases, then through a room with a jumpy dog, then outside, so taking pics outside isn't an option. But I can however take pics without flash, and hope the pics will still be good. Will try that! -

Age of Mitgardia (free-build-challenge)
Alfadas replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Here is my phase lll tower. And here is my phase lll walls. -
Here I am again with another entry for the AoM challenge. This time it is the tower phase lll. Hope you like it, C&C are welcome! Here we are again, far in the cold north. I have found a large abandoned stone mine, so I went back to the tower to get my mate. When I arrived he was out of the tower (for the 2nd time in weeks). He was fighting imaginary monsters. I went to him and asked him to come with me to get stones for the tower. He said that he needed to practice his fighting skills more. I left him there and went back to the stone mine. I got as many stones as I could lift, went back to the tower and repeated that for about 20 times. I was very tired. I went to sleep. When I woke up, I saw that the wood in the tower had been replaced. I heard my mate making fighting noises. Still practicing, I thought, till I heard a weird scream. I jumped on my feet, grabbed my weapons, ran out and saw a couple of Cyclopses laying on the ground. One had an arrow in his back, another one had his head beheaded. I saw a dozen of them running away. "I don't think I want to be in the tower anymore, this is great!" my mate shouted. "Let's practice more!" Then he grabbed the head and put it on top of the flag. Here is the tower, now all stone. We are fighting on top of it. I love the tower now, just wish we had more food. Shot from above. He is a darned good fighter. One dead Cyclops. They made the noises we heard. And another one. The inside of the tower, with a fire. Another shot from above. We in front of the tower. That's it, our heroes did what their leader ordered them to do, build a nice tower and defend it with your live. Now all we need is their leader to show up at their tower and explain himself for the pointless order he gave. Hope you liked the story, but this isn't the end yet......

Yeah, I agree with Hive. It would be cool to have a church or something. But indeed it would be better if TLG doesn't involve in religion. -
I say, this is a nice set! Would love to see it in set form, and a battle pack to support it with an add-on for the wall would be great!

@DeGothia: here is the pic of the tower: And for lenjoyLego89 and MKJoshA the pics of the inner tower and platform: Hope that helps!

Thank you! I didn't even think about having more color variation, but now that you point it out, I think why didn't I do that? But well, good for a next round tower. And about AoM, I think it has way too much change from my phase ll tower. I have pics of phase lll tower, can I post them?

Here is a thing about making trees, not round but well, they look cool anyway. Just scoll to vegetation.
-
Thanks! I will upload pics of that here tomorrow, when I can take proper pics. Let me just say this, I didn't make the platform round. It is just a collection of plates that is a bit roundish. I made a tower with 1x6 bricks, that supports the platform.
