    I don't know if this has been covered before, I just thought it was a good idea to post a new topic where you can post your ideas for future castle sets, if there someday will be a new theme. Just to be clear, not the standard sets, such as the battle pack and the castle, just ideas for cool sets. I will go first: - a small trade outpost, whit a few armed guards and a couple of citizens. €45 - a village set like this one, with other things a medieval town needs, so other things then the inn, stable and black smith, like maybe barracks, a couple of houses, a field with a farmer. €100 I hope you share nice ideas with the rest of the castle fanatics, and I hope that TLG will make sets of some of the ideas.

    3 battle of helms deep and 12 uruk hai armies? That must have cost you around 500 euros? I got to say, your armies are impressive! I only got 2 uruk hai armies and 0 battle of helms deep. Now that I see your armies I am considering to buy battle of helms deep and 1 or 2 more uruk hai armies. But first the money. Anyway, I love your armies!

    So a while ago I asked you guys tips for making round towers, and I got some good tips. Here is what I came up with: The tower is high for me, around 25 bricks high and about 12 studs in diameter. And look who there is, a nice orc with a golden ring. Hope you like it, more pics on my flickr! Edit: I would like to claim UoP credits for round walls and towers

    Icebears and huskies, love them already! But I am not sure if I want an arctic set, sounds way to modern for me. On the other hand, arctic is snow and snow is Mitgardia. Need to see pics first then I will decide.

    When will this challenge end? I want that shield, but when it ends soon, I don't think I can finish all categories.

    Yes! It helps! I think I can make some base. I have tons of 2x4 just waiting to be used again, so that wouldn't be a problem. I think 20x20 or so would be good enough for me. I am going to try that. I think I can make a story, but it will just be another random fight scene with a lot of beheaded bodies.

    Thank you for the kind words and the link! Both are very useful! It is not a big tower, 12 studs diameter, but it is about 23 bricks high. I just have troubles with making the place the soldiers stand on. I can't really connect it, but I will figure something out. As for the surroundings, I don't know if I should just keep it small (12x16) or a bit bigger for more plants and room for more figs. It is just a freebuild, as I already uploaded an entry for challenge B, silly me. This one might be good for challenge C, but I need something more then just a tower with a few figs. Any suggestions? Or do I just keep it a freebuild?

    I am currently working on a round tower, for which I asked tips a while ago. I ordered a lot of stones for it and I received them yesterday. I couldn't order the Mitgardian colored flags, so they will stay absent in my builds for a while longer. Hope to upload pics from it (and a couple of AoM entries) this weekend. Edit: I didn't order any more white bricks for snow, or brown pieces for wood. Didn't have money for that, so that will have to wait till I got more money. This order most bricks are light and dark bley, with a few plant pieces in normal green.

    As much as I like the talk about the summer sets, this youtuber has uploaded reviews of a lot of sets from the current wave.

    I love Castle themes, but the current one is crap. Fantasy Era and Kingdoms were the only themes I could collect, but I really much like the 1980's themes. Please bring those back! For LotR and the Hobbit, I have some sets, mainly for the orcs and uruk-hai. But I like them too, don't get me wrong. I just don't have money right now. Otherwise I would have bought all the sets.

    Unfortunately I already build barracks phase l, ll and lll, otherwise that would be a cool idea for phase l! I need to build, so maybe just a freebuild. l'll see. But thanks!

    Will do! With all those creepy noises at night, we might have a fight soon. I don't want to lose it because he can't fight. So, I will practice to fight with him. Hope he wants to leave the fire.

    Thanks you all very much! That skelleton standing over the cauldron was an idea of my sister, so I will say to her that you all like it. She doesn't like Lego that much, but she sometimes has good ideas, as now.
